Ragnaros isn't that powerful as long as you can keep a few minions on board, like the turn when he dealt 8 damage to a wisp... Also, the earliest he comes is turn 7, so you'd still be dead unless you can really control the board.
Frost Lich Jaina was winning games before, if you can somehow save your damage buff for after you play her you already won the game anyway.
Easy conditions on mage loa turn 5 hero Power COST 0 deal 3 And with Spirit 9 dmg ... Turn 6 coin+ragnaros :D
Easy golden craft this will be nerfed
I think they need to put text while IT IS in your Hand just like spellstones
Regis is an idiot, what a painful stream.
Day9? Jealous? Seriously though, I counted 2 factual mistakes and 1 misunderstanding of a card. Otherwise he was good. Some reasonable insight and decent deck piloting.
lol are you rank 25? maybe decent by those standards.
I think he was just overwhelmed with the number of cards and card synergies that he has to talk and explain his thinking to sound entertaining. If it was a regular person (like one from twitch chat) I think they would do worse, just be rambling on how "broken" or "bad" a card is rather than thinking of all the possible synergies and how cool it looks, which is what Regis did, though I wouldn't mind him just playing the card and then explaining it after the match.
I have been playing the game since the original release. I regularly rank up to somewhere in the rank 3-4 range, haven't ever really had time to push to legend and I don't like playing net decks. If all you are analyzing is perfect play then of course he didn't do well. But unless you have had time to study up on the cards (he said he wanted to be surprised so he didn't find out what the cards were, though he may have seen the non-played cards just prior to the stream) I doubt you would play them perfectly either. My guess is if you were on that stream there would be critical people like yourself ripping you apart too. The goal for the hosts is to showcase cards, be entertaining and muse lightly on the cards while trying not to be critical (duh). Besides the ridiculous level of arrogance your comment showed, you failed to explain one reason why you could remotely come to the conclusion. Seems like you got the down-votes for a reason, maybe?
Is the text on the mage legendary "8 left!" flavor text or can you literally only summon ragnaros 8 times per game? kappa
It will change after you deal damage with your hero power :P
It's gonna say (Ready!), when you deal the damage
That's how much damage you've done with the hero power. More accurately, how much you still have to do .
isnt that the count for damage required for the summon?
Tempo mage is back. Just a different iteration of it haha, but it's back.
tempo mage never uses hero power
Hence "different iteration" of it haha =P. They'll be able to out-tempo aggro decks behind that stealth thing and the extra damage pings. Or we'll just see odd mage (or hell maybe even an even mage featuring Ice Walker and this spirit of the dragonhawk card).
Wild: Brann Bronzebeard + Mage Loa = profit
Mage hero power extra scary now
Love the idea behind Hero Power Mage. Think it could be really fun.
