Token Druid with Corridor Creeper and Splintergraft is pretty interesting. Get the Creeper down to 2 mana and play it alongside Splintergraft, then you get a 10-mana 10/10 that will reduce its cost the next turn when your enemy tries to deal with your 8/8. Then, next turn, try to play the 10/10 corridor creeper with your Ixlid, Fungal Lord, to drop 20/20 worth in stats on the board. While this is an expensive couple of turns, you don't actually lose any tempo (you get 10/13 in stats on the first turn and 22/24 on the second).
Just an observation: I'm really glad that Dopplegangster will rotate out of standard as this card enters, because that combo could be brutal.
Might find some neat combos. I can definitely see this in Jungle Giants decks for sure, but I doubt there will be enough support for it anyway. This guy is REALLY good after Barnabus, since you basically get a free 8/8 and another copy of something yummy.
Maybe it's Twig's time to shine? Ixlid, something good, snap Twig, Splintergraft on something, etc. That would leave you with Ixlid, 2 somethings, 2 Splintergrafts, and whatever you copied in hand. I'm sure there's something better, but we shall see. That's a pretty sweet play if you can survive.
A 10/10 copy of Tyrantus wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. 30/30 in stats on the board and 22 of that can't be targeted with spells or HP.
Yeah that has to be played over 3 turns. Which is astonishing slow.
Jungle Giants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Cards that come to mind are Feral Gibberer Wretched Tiller Lone Champion Sergeant Sally Rattling Rascal Shimmering Courser The Voraxx Skelemancer Trogg Gloomeater
gibberer's copies don't retain the buff, sally is rotating and wretched tiller, rascal, gloomeater and voraxx don't seem very good. Lone champion and course seem decent but not actually that good. The skelemancer is the only good one but you still need to run and play the original and it's really slow.
wild is still a thing.
Angry Chicken
With the new wording, the card will read Mildly Upset Chicken
THE ANGRIEST CHICKEN
fun, but do you really want to play an ironbark protector into a faceless behemoth? not really
would it be viable a combo like Saronite Chain Gang + Zola the Gorgon + Innervate + Saronite Chain Gang?
No.
why not?
Bouncing anything back to your hand doesn't keep effects on it. Only exception is Kingsbane
I had that doubt, fair enough, thanks
Yes, you can use this on Saronite Chain Gang...
