This card would have been so good in older expansions. Now it's kind of meh, we'll have to see how the meta shapes up!
Good old Diablo 1 memories of the tower shield! Fantastic references! I sense a soul in search of answers! :)
I figured it out!
Grand Archivist + Unidentified Shield + Dead Man's Hand
Mild Infestation
Personally I think this card should be 5 mana. It is only performing half of the things that UI performs and is random with the effect. It seems decent though and I might play it in control warrior.
No matter now good this card is, it most likely wont see play. Control warrior has a really tight decklist nowdays, over the years more and more and more good card were made for warrior. Usually there was about 22 core cards but from than sleep with the fishes, Scourgelord Garrosh, Rotface, dead mans hand, blood razor, bring it on .... got released. With that much competiton a card needs to do a lot to fit in cw. With the 2 new armor cards this one gets pushed out even more. Only the 5 2 weapon variant has good synergy with the new 3 cost spell ( the holy fire one too maybe but well see) So with that out of the way, you have to play this in tempo warrior. Sure a bit of armor is fine and you get a bit of value on the side as well. But getting a 6 mana do nothing 25% of the time is insanely terrible ( especially in a deck that needs A LOT of support to even be considered)
Serrated Shield = Holy Fire
Runed Shield = Shieldmaiden
Spiked Shield = Arcanite Reaper + Iron Hide
Tower Shield +10 = a s***load of Armor
Gotta say, this is probably my favorite of the Unidentified cards.
5 + a separate 10 can combo with Geoscuplter
Seems like it could work. Since you know what it is going to do before you play it i.e. "gains bonus effect in your hand" - you may not want to use it straight away when you top-deck it but once you get it in your hand you can plan your game play around it. Same goes if it lands in your opening hand. At least it is not a random effect when played. Each effect is situational and you use it in the right situation - just more control orientated most likely?
For instance late game if Yip is on the board or next turn after a brawl would be good times for this?
They forgot to make it balanced:
Much better, now with "100% maor 'fun' and 'interactive'"!
Lmfao ur a meme god
You forgot to add "Guaranteed to topdeck this when the player needs it"
Alright you win the internet for today. Let's wrap it up, nothing left to do here.
they broke the rule of 5, my OCD is triggered
UI's little sister for warriors. Uncontrollable RNG, you never know if it's good or bad...HS 2017.
But all effects are good in their own rights. 6 mana 15 armor is okay, deal 5 gain 5 is okay, shieldmaiden was a staple of control warrior, and iron hide+arcanite reaper is great. They are all very playable.
Yes, but it's still uncontrollable for you what effect the card gains and the chance that it suits your current situation is probably 1/4. I understand that it is a good card, I rated it "Very Good" and that's why I also called it UI's little sister...but it is less consistend then UI and that's its downside. And lately the HS staff has created a s***load of cards with RNG effects...just like these RNG brawl...it's fun, but often times you want to create a deck that is more consistent. That's why (sadly) no one plays Shaman right now....it's a lot of fun, but too unreliable.
Thanks for the downvotes btw. :-/
Sneaky souls reference :)
