Spellbook Duel is This Week's Brawl!
Choose your spellbook carefully, champion! Pick 10 cards, and anytime you would draw a card, you instead Discover a copy of a card from your deck.
Trivia
- This is a brand new brawl!
- Think of your deck as a Discover pool which won't deplete on activation of the effect. Removing and Adding to this pool is possible. A lot of Brawls have multiplied cards in your initial deck to get it up to 30 cards, that isn't the case here which makes it unique.
How it Works
- Choose a class.
- From your chosen class, pick 10 cards from your collection to put into your deck.
- You may only have 1 of each card in your created deck.
- Each time you draw your initial card, you will instead use the Discover mechanic to pick a card from your deck.
- If you draw a card through a card effect, you don't immediately gain the Discover window. You must spend 1 mana to Discover that card though Peruse.
Fun Times
This is just a sampling of some of the fun card interactions we have with this brawl.
- You can add more cards to your deck. Playing a card like Jade Idol will give you 3 copies of it, which will increase your chances during Discover of seeing another Jade Idol.
- Tracking will actually remove 2 cards from your Discover pool. Choose wisely, hero!
- Fel Reaver will also remove cards from the Discover pool. Mages be warned, you can get this from Firelands Portal.
- Reno Jackson and the other Reno-style cards will always work unless dupe cards are added to your deck.
- Beneath the Grounds.. yep. It ruins your opponent's Discover pool (And Reno potential) with Ambush being tossed in.

reno jackson + ice block
This was a really fun brawl and reminded me that Tavern Brawls could have crazy rules I'd never imagine before.
Does Deathlord remove minions from your opponent's pool, or just summon copies?
I wondered the same thing! Ultimately, I left him out for a Firelands Portal, but I would love to know the answer to this if anyone has tried it for science!
Just tried it out: IT DOES! You can eliminate minions from you opponent's deck entirely!
Inner Fire Priest FTW!
Likewise, Mad Scientist is, let's say, a questionable choice, as one of my opponents found out to his cost. No more Ice Block for you, my friend.
had 5 shaman wins quest, #LetsDoThis
Tunnel Trogg, Jade Claw, Ancestral Spirit, Flamewreathed Faceless, Call in the Finishers, Everyfin is Awesome, Lightning Bolt, Healing Wave, Small-Time Buccaneer, Hex. 5-0
Questing rogue with beneath the grounds was fun and easy. Stock up on preps, cold blood, sap and conceal and gg.
Jade Druid finally got it's own tavern brawl. Also beneath the grounds is so op.
I made an invincible infinite damage otk deck LMAO check it out.

OMG Jade Druid Destroys everything. Just spam Jade Idol and Blossoms until you get to T6 and the Aya all the way home xD
Is there a limit to the amount of turns? Currently Playing against a control warrior that has no win condition whatsoever. We are on about turn 50 or so now.
Updated!
This brawl does have a time limit. The game just ended with both of us exploding. Do not know what the limit is however as I am playing on mobile currently.
Hearthstone has a hard limit of ninety turns.
you can shuffle on your own deck but shuffle into their decks doesn't work (with weasel) and Reno is really OP here
...Don't try a mill deck guys.
Played the longest game of my life today. Ended with a 50 attack C'thun.
