Old Card Backs Returning
An oldie revisited! Ben Brode has confirmed that bringing back old ranked card backs is something they'd still like to do one day.
Quote from Ben BrodeWill previous season card backs ever be obtainable again? A few new friends like collecting but discouraged from missing many
It's something we'd like to do someday
Build Your Own Deck Brawls
It's been a few weeks since we've seen a brawl that is anything but a deck building challenge, which leads us to ask, what do you think about it? Do you prefer brawls where you have to build decks, get a premade deck, or get a completely randomly generated deck?
Yong Woo says we'll be seeing some "super cool pre-built" brawls soon.
Quote from BlizzardSo many deck building brawls lately :(
We'll do some super cool pre-built brawls soon!

I totally see why some players would like that. Tho I feel like card backs like 'Pandaria' represent something. It shows that someone has been playing since season 1, it shows how dedicated they are. If they make currently unobtainable card backs obtainable card backs would loose their whole value.
I can see that. Tho most people who will see someone with pandaria card back will assume they have been playing the whole time. Seems like a reasnoble assumption. Combine that with the golden cards, a golden hero and 'skillful' plays and it's very likely that they have been playing this for that long.
Plus even if they did stop playing and then start playing again after a year it still shows that they were there for the season 1, that they experienced legacy hearthstone. They were playing the game when miracle rouge and buzzard was a thing, even if they were playing only for a month.
I love pre-built and random Brawls the most, but last week's Taunt and Charge was so much fun, I managed to use so many cards I haven't before! Even Magma Rager saw play and to me, that was amazing!
As someone who doesn't play HS from the very start. I would LOVE to be able to get some of the old card backs! Yes, please, make it happen!
I find that brawl are better when they embrace RNG and experimentation. Making it or having it made for me doesn't matter also as I have a fun time.
I much prefer pre-built and randomly generated Brawls, because generally there isn't going to be an OP combo found out and inevitably spammed, making actual experimentation a bit boring. Sure, you get things like the original Blackrock Showdown, which was noticeably imbalanced in Nefarian's favour, but in general you can go in with any class or pre-built deck and assume that you have the same chance as anyone else of winning, without having to keep up with a mini-meta.
Of course, I understand that for some people, that mini-meta is really interesting and makes those Brawls fun, but for me personally, Tavern Brawl is my relaxed gamemode, so I much prefer not having to think too hard about deck building for it.
I like pre-built and random brawls equally, but don't particularly like "build your deck" brawls. There's only the occasional brawl that I enjoy enough to play again after winning, and I'd rather not have to fiddle with cards for something that I may only play once.
I would really love to be able to collect old cardbacks.
It's not a huge achirvement but the card backs are a unique thing that should stay that way..
I like build your deck brawls more since theres place for experimentation.. Played last brawl like 30 times!
