The Fate Cards
These are the cards you choose from at the start of the game. Keep in mind that only four will show up, so you aren't always going to get to choose the same card.
Fate: Armor - Each player gains 2 Armor on the start of their turn.
Fate: Confusion - At the end of each turn, swap all minions' Attack and Health.
Fate: Portals - Shuffle 10 Unstable Portals into each player's deck.
Fate: Coin - When a minion dies, its owner gets a Coin.
Fate: Spells - Spells cost (1) less.
Fate: Bananas - When a minion dies its owner gets a (1) mana Banana.
The Dire Fate Cards
These are the cards you choose from once you've hit 20 life. Like Fate cards, only four of the six total will show up.
Dire Fate: Manaburst - Minions gain Deathrattle: Random card in owner's hand costs (0).
Dire Fate: Unstable Portals - Place 3 Unstable Portals in each player's hand.
Dire Fate: Card - When a minion dies, its owner draws a card.
Dire Fate: Windfury - All minions have Windfury.
Dire Fate: Taunt and Charge - All minions have Taunt and Charge.
Dire Fate: Murlocs - Turn each minion in play into a 1/1 Murloc.
What does it mean? I seriously hate the change that now in EU you get the brawl last was nice to play it before all people start to netdeck their decks :/
which are the fates?
and aren't they overusing the discover effect on brawls?
I'm enjoying it though the games are kinda long. Had fun with Astral Communion druid going with the +armor to stall and then charge/taunt on your minions. Opponent chose all minions that died gave a coin so charging boom + charging nef resulted in him conceding. Was about to drop the board full of 3/3s from Rafam with taunt if he could clear that.
With so many different choices it feels like there are a lot of decks that will work. For those who haven't played, there are 8 fates you can choose from at start (each player picks 1 of 4) and then when a player hits 20 life they get to pick a dire fate and again they choose 1 of 4 (8 total). Leads to some very random and unexpected play which is refreshing.
Haha, I guess I didn't play long enough to see the 20 HP choice. I'm at work, so I just logged in to see what it was all about and then gave my opponent a free pack.
Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
Seems like tempo mage should crush this brawl, and there are also some options in here that could make for a nasty mill deck if someone were to get the right choices.
I really hope two brawls in the last few weeks including the "give minions charge and taunt" mechanic is not the harbinger of things to come in the expansion. We need less charge, not more.
Face hunter works great until you drop them under 20 and they choose all minions get charge and taunt. Even with charge, your 1-3 drops trade poorly with 4+ drops that get taunt and charge for favorable trades.
This thing is insane. Last game both me and my partner went Portal, so we each had a 50 card deck with 20 portals. I quickly knock my opponent to Dire and they chose Card, and show they are a Raptor rogue.
He gets an insane board complete with a Lumberer out of a portal. I go dire and choose Murloc and drop a Ysera. 20+ damage board turns into 6 babies.
We then get into a game dropping and killing our board. I use his deathrattles to burn card after card of his overfilled hand as every minion he drops is 2-3 cards drawn once fully killed.
game ends with me at 12 cards left and killing him with fatigue. 50 card deck, end in a fatigue kill.
wtf.
And the pack gives me an AoL which might get nerfed and a gold sea giant that I'm now hoping gets nerfed.
Btw, be VERY careful with giving the game windfuried charge/taunt minons with portals. It's ..interesting in ways many may not like.
The one game I was losing I choose "replace all minions with 1/1 murloc" for my <20 health fate and then played Tirion that turn which caused him to concede.
So far having a blast with this brawl, but as soon as RNG decides to go against me that might change.
Temporary buffs actually are permanent after you chose fate switch, pretty good in zoo. Make sure to not pick banana or coin fate against mage as zoo because you will have a bad time ;)

Meh. Not a fan personally.
Lion King: Alternate Ending ;3
Only checked in once so far, but the three i recall are:
Shuffle 10 Unstable Portals into each deck
All spells cost 1 less
Whenever a minion dies, it's owner gets a coin.
Can't recall the4th.

lil exorcist could work well here along with baron rivebdare however your hand might get filled with coins and bannanas
Dragon priest works better.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Constructed again? ResidentSleeper
If you're on a phone (small UI), be mindful of the bananas:
4/4 with a secret paladin.
The one game I was losing I choose "replace all minions with 1/1 murloc" for my <20 health fate and then played Tirion that turn which caused him to concede.
