to see people actually have different lists is enough of a reason to make it 40 cards to me.
Why do people assume that raising the number of cards would increase deck diversity? In any format, there will always be Top Tier decks which define/dominate the metagame. People will just choose the same best 40 cards as each other, instead of the same best 30. The only thing that will change is that decks will become less consistent, and even more people will whine about RNG. Less consistency also pushes combo decks out of the format, which would reduce deck diversity.
In MtG there is only a minimum deck size, but no maximum. You can play with more cards if you want to, but nobody ever does. That's one of the first 'rules' noobs have to learn; never play with more than the minimum, because your deck becomes less consistent and weaker.
Hence, I'd be happy if Hearthstone decided to increase or remove the maximum deck size, as long as they don't change the minimum. More free wins from nublets.

yeah I've noticed that you can get screwed by your draws

heres my idea, this would be to help fight the aggro meta.
4 mana
4/5
battlecry: you opponents minions cost 5 more next turn
and also when this minion is on the board all minions cost 1 more
EDIT: some thoughts,
people think that yeti stats are too good combined with the ability, and that 5 mana is a bit OP. here are some thoughts i had. most agree decks would also play this minion to maintain board control, imagine a hunter playing this, which basically means that you will never win board control back after they play it. also in control vs control this card could be a HUGE swing. just like how you would play loatheb before a rouge could do the miracle, you could play this to deny grommash or alextraza, or any number of things. you could use to postpone dr boom.interesting

i only play fiery win axe into minions, on a empty board its better to armor up.

so this deck is kinda like freeze mage, except more anti aggro with more minions to help control the board. the win condition is AA or ragnros. ice block is to prolong the game while you look for some vital cards, more than one is unnecessary. i just made this deck and so far at very low ranks its gone very well, i even beat out a full control paladin. some cards that are flexible are the water elementals, one of the flame strikes, one of the polymorphs, and the arcane missiles. cards you add are earthen ring, carine, senjin, or something else. so far I've been loving this deck any tips?
note: im a FTP player, i can craft a epic or two but getting a legendary is unlikely
EDIT: switched inloot hoarders for haunted creepers and mind control techs for harvest golems
