However the games usually take too long, and most are stressful, because you're always struggling to survive. The trick is not to depend on the OTK combo, except vs slow control lists. It's possible to out-value a lot of decks. Still, there are always the cases were you draw bad, the opponent draws great, and you get steamrolled.
The match-ups are similar to Quest Rogue, but less polarizing.
Also, as others have said, even without the combo, Shudderwock is quite a value machine, especially in Wild. I still want to try an evolve deck with it.
Despite all my praise for the card and the decks that use it, I don't think it is worth it to craft it, if you want a reliable deck to climb. For now, it is mostly a card for fun. I myself climbed with Odd Paladin (judge me), because it is fast, and only after I got to rank 5, I started to play the Wock again.
Echo of Medivh seems out of place, there's not a good amount of value minions to copy. Cone of Cold is usually bad, the exception is as a Frost Nova double in a Reno deck with Doomsayer. You could try changing both cards for Water Elemental or Piloted Shredder, since this spot in your curve is vacant. That should give you a better midgame and also improve the damage output.
RNG happens, eventually you will have a game that goes like: Turn 1 - Mana Wyrm; Turn 2 - Sorceress Apprentice + Mirror Image; Turn 3 - Flamewaker + Arcane Blast . Then, it's gonna be your opponent's time to complain about how you got a perfect hand and he couldn't handle it.
Today I started the ladder climb with this deck and I got to rank 15 in about 1 hour. I'll push for more later.
I subbed the second Mortal Strike in place of a Arcane Golem and it has been great. However, I still miss burst damage to close games sometimes. What do you think of Bash in place of Wolfrider?
Thanks for this great deck! Last season, I managed to get rank 7 with it, my highest ever.
Due to card availability, I had to substitute the Armorsmith for a second Cruel Taskmaster. It was good to have one more Patron/Worgen activator and the aggro match-ups were still great.
The Control Warrior matches felt hopeless, but it was rare to face them. Most of the time, I was crushing Secretadins and OTK'ing Combo Druids. So nice!

How important is Hidden Wisdom? Can I replace it with something else?

Last season I went from rank 5 to 2 with the following list:

I created a public Shaman deck (even edited it once to make it sure it was public), but it is not show in the Shaman decks page.
However, if I filter it for my username as author, the deck is shown. The same is true, if I click in the Update row (which generates this link).
Still, if I just search for decks containing Shudderwock for example, the deck is also not shown, unless once again it is sorted by the Update row.
What is happening?

How about 1-2 Fel Reaver? It's a giant sized mech and a lot of people don't know how to play against it. Also, it fills the 5 spot in the curve.

First time trying Shaman, zero-three...

Good luck with your deck, it looks pretty solid.
