why the downvotes? lol, people think i'm bragging or something? been playing this game since launch, almost daily - showing my dedication to it shouldn't be a bad thing
I got to legend playing renolock and priest (hit legend with reno). Once I got in legend, I experimented a lot and created this deck. I was on a few losing streaks until I got a good build, and then my winrate was positive (didnt track, so not sure what %). Laddering with this build right now and it's positive as well - but it's the first day, so we'll see how good it is for laddering.
Really great deck! While it's been assumed shaman is one of the worst classes, I think this deck is pretty strong right now - I've taken it from rank 15-5 on the longest win streak I've ever had with 25 wins and 5 losses (against dream hand opponents).
While I've been stopping my grind at rank 5, I'll probably end up taking this further since I enjoy it so much - I've hit legend before, so I usually dope around with gimmick decks, but the winning is addicting :)
I only have one Dark Wispers, so I put Cenarius in its place - the +2/2 is a really nice buff to the board, or filling up 3 minions to prep for another board buff.
So far so good with 7 wins out of 9 games. Most of my games were vs other legend players in casual (high mmr), but some were at rank 4. I feel like 1 Jeeves might be good to include? Also, I've never had luck with Fel Reaver... Every game I play him on curve (turn 4 or 5), the opponent seems to have a couple cheap cards and removal, or a freeze or annoyotron etc - maybe it's luck, but it makes me very uneasy to play this card..
I can't update my app either, so I can't see the ranked chest - though others see it on PC - I'm gonna wait to play ranked on PC first to make sure it registers my rank.
I can't be of too much help since I don't have Leeroy Jenkins - I think it should work okay. The only thing I would wonder about is how often you get both Arcane Golem and Leeroy Jenkins in your hand at the same time. Since these are both used as finishers (since they actually aid the opponent), it would be undesirable if they clogged up your hand early, and you were forced to play one of them early in the game. Fearing this, I think having just one of them is safer, as Argent Squire is still a very good turn 1 drop or tempo drop that can safely be buffed and pressure the opponent. It is also safer and cheaper to dump before playing Divine Favor.
Since I can't really test it myself, I'm curious what your findings will be - please update us with your results! :)
I don't have Tirion Fordring, so I haven't really tested how well he would work in this deck. In my opinion, the worst card to get when topdecking is probably Argent Squire, so I would see how replacing her goes. I value the charge minions too much when it comes to topdecking and drawing from Divine Favor. I can't tell you how many times I've topdecked Divine Favor and drew a charge minion + a buff or two for the win.
I am slightly skeptical as to how well Tirion Fordring would work in this type of deck. While strong, I feel like he could clog up your hand and weaken Divine Favor as well as stutter your tempo, forcing you to hero power when you wouldn't want to. Let me know how it goes - I'm sure it may slow down the deck a little, but it may work better against midrange decks that have managed to stall the game out.
Patron warriors are tough because they run so many 1 damage aoes. Unstable Ghoul, Whirlwind, Death's Bite make it really tough to keep minions on the board. Additionally, Armorsmith can really throw a wrench in your damage pressure. Warriors are the main reason why I cut Consecration - with Armorsmith, it may do 2 damage to face, but it could also damage 3+ minions, so 4 mana is wasted on warriors. Piloted Shredder drastically improved my matchups with warriors.
To beat them, it takes luck - but 50%+ winrate against them isn't all that bad. Silence their Armorsmiths or Unstable Ghouls when you desire to protect your board (and don't expect an aoe in their hand). Let them draw from Acolyte of Pain if you have Divine Favor (you can even trade 1/1's into it for a bigger draw) - they may draw more answers, but if your pressure is good, your cards are more threatening with charges and buffs. A good patron warrior will empty his hand so your Divine Favor is bad. However, many warriors still try to draw cards, which is really helpful for you.
Also, buff divine shielded minions, but spread out your buffs - if you stack them all on one minion, it'll just get Executed.
Keep trying. While I'm not familiar with the decks being played in that rank, I can confirm this deck is consistently strong. If you have any specific troubles, let me know and I'll do my best to help :)

Pair it with boars or southsea deckhands, you can clear enemy minions and finish off your quest easily.

I'm sitting at 499 on all 9 heroes - just switched to all casual this week!
I'd love the option to turn off the golden portrait though. It's why I haven't hit 500 on anyone.

It really all comes down to drawing aoe pretty much. I think adding in annoyotrons like the OP suggests will help

Is Grommash Hellscream replaceable? He's the only one I'm missing.
