raviolrevolucionario_unmerged posted a message on New Mage Card Revealed: SimulacrumPosted in: NewsI dont understand how this card works. I mean it summons a copy of the lowest cost minion in your hand, it adds to your hand a copy of the lowest cost minion in your hand or it's always a copy of the lowest cost card in your hand (kinda how Shifter Zerus works)?

Moop547 posted a message on GnomeferatuPosted in: Gnomeferatuthe discarded card doesn't matter because you can't fatigue people as warlock and if you don't get to fatigue, him discarding a card doesn't do anything because he easily could've drawn that good card you destroyed in his last 5 cards. Or better yet, you could've discarded something worthless like an Acolyte of Pain which actually HELPS him get to his good cards!

Moop547 posted a message on GnomeferatuPosted in: Gnomeferatui know LOL. people don't realize that the majority of games don't go to fatigue and if their opponent has a card that they don't like in the bottom 5 of their deck and don't draw it, that its no different than burning it randomly....

Moop547 posted a message on GnomeferatuPosted in: Gnomeferatulol at everyone saying this card's busted. There are cards in magic the gathering that destroy FIVE of your opponent's top cards. This will never see play. When you play more card games, you'll realize that you need to build an entire deck around milling your opponent for it to have any relevance. This is basically just a 2 mana 2 3. Think of it this way, if you played this and destroyed a good card from your opponent, they could've also just not drawn that card the whole game anyway. This card would be decent in rogue, warrior, or mage, but it's really bad in warlock because of the warlock hero power, not to mention that even if you did say play Sir Finley turn 1 and got a controlly hero power, you still don't have enough tools to mill people with warlock. Druid couldn't even mill people back at the start of Old Gods and they have Naturalize and a ton of healing! Oh yeah and don't forget that the only match-ups where fatigue is even relevant in the first place are vs jade druid which is a joke, control warrior, and control priest. And now with the new stupid warrior epic, no deck will ever mill them. That just leaves priest and they're much more likely to win because they have a ton of removal and discover shit every turn if you don't put pressure on them.
Only thing busted about this card is that sweet sweet gnomish cleavage!

Just got a turn one 2x Innervate + coin + Gadgetzan Auctioneer into play my whole deck for lethal (Made possible with heals and armor spells). I literally reached fatigue on turn 1.
Don't see why I would play this again though, would just be either me or my opponent doing this over and over again.

Dealing with randomness is a skill, and you can't deny it. The issue is that it doesn't translate directly to a victory. When you look at hearthstone competitively (or any card game at that) you should never look at isolated games but at overall winrates: there you will see that skill make a difference.
That said, yes hearthstone is an RNGfest and it probably overdoes that a bit, but it's what hearthstone always was and always will be, if it doesn't suit you you might consider chess or something.

I guess it's so bad Treachery makes it broken?

You have to keep playing cards in order to keep refreshing. Meme otk: 2xRadiant Elemental into a Shadow Visions loop, has to go fast tho.
2
Why not run 1 mana spells? If you remove them from your deck you have a thinner deck and better top decks (assuming you dont need them for late game)
2
You can add in two extra card draws since you are turning a 3 card combo into a single card

The ultimate Kazakus potion.

Nah, you have good points and yes this is not as bad as some may say, but I dont see why I would want to include this in my deck "just in case I need to turn my useless prep into a maybe-not-so-useless random card".
And if you want to build a deck around this, well... memes decks are a thing right?

Yeah, really bad wording.
Its not "Add a copy" like Blood Warriors or "Put a copy" like Echo of Medivh
Its not "Summon a copy" like Molten Reflection
It just says "copy", might as well send it into oblivion afterwards *ben brode laughs*
