I've played against ALOT of warlock and they had no issue dealing with 4+ health. Full-Blown Evil covers any blind spot they use to had in making 1 big minion and praying it sticks. Even before then they still had Mogar + Spell.

That's the main issue, you should evaluate the deck by playing it, not only against it... That's why Hearthstone community (mostly on Reddit) is full of whiney ignorants, crying to nerf everything they don't like.

What are you playing where they even care about the Viper? Even 8/8's dont matter cause they can just play 3 mana Deal 5 with Morgar Artificer.

The issue isnt disrupting their mana cheat but finding things that can actually survive the removal. Since all your really doing is survive till they draw through their whole deck instead of winning on 7 or 8.

Lol? Without mana reduction he's MUCH slower (needs turn 8 to trigger Grimoire of Sacrifice + Humongous Owl) and he can't even pull off his full combo, because Wicked Shipment + Tamsin Roame + Tamsin's Phylactery + School Spirits + Mo'arg Artificer is 13 mana. Without mana reduction he can only do half combo (for 56 damage) but with some board, the other player can even survive that!

Besides, when he has to pay full mana cost for everything, the whole game takes much longer and it's more likely, that he'll be forced to use some of his combo pieces to withstand the opponent's pressure (because his survivability is limited). Try the deck yourself, or at least watch some streams, then you'll see...

    Warlock is beatable.

That's highly redundant since any deck is beatable.

But Owl Lock is beatable without much effort or specific deck building. Just throw 2x Rustrot Viper into your deck (which are very useful in this meta anyway) and you're good.

All modern HS combo decks are based on mana cheating, but Owl Lock is the only one you can interact with. Theoretically, he could guarantee one Rod tick by playing Runed Mithril Rod + Backfire + Life Tap in one turn, but that would cost 9 mana (or 8 mana with additional Tour Guide), which would be way too slow.

They *AT LEAST* have to nerff Warlock's survival tools A LOT

Only someone who has no idea about the game can say something like that.

Every deck in the history of HS has been driven by one principle - do your best not to die. And what can you do to survive? There are basically 2 options:
    1. Offensive (pressure)
    2. Defensive (removals, heals, taunts, stale tools).

The rule here is simple, the more offensive you have, the less defensive you need. That's why aggro decks like Face Hunter or Elemental Shaman can perform well with no defensive at all, high pressure is simply all they need.

Now look at Warlock, at this point this class has THE LOWEST PRESSURE IN THE ENTIRE GAME (in standard). No direct damage (battlecries, spells), no weapons, no fast and strong minions. Only exception is Flesh Giant, but that card only works with The Demon Seed and without it, it's too slow (Warlock has never played it without quest, not even for 8 mana, before the nerfs). Other archetypes have literally nothing to pressure the opponent  and that's why Warlock simply has to have the best heals and removals in the game. And even then, these are not even that strong, because they are damage-based (hard removals like Siphon Soul and Twisting Nether are overcosted these days). Any minion with 4+ health is actually problematic for Warlock, as well as divine shields or spell immunity and that can be easily exploited to beat him.

so playing as a shaman how I can counter owl lock?

Pressure him with damage. If your deck cannot do that, you'll likely lose, as you are supposed to. Otherwise, your deck would have no counters.

At this point you should know the drill... At the beginning of EVERY expansion people tend to try new greedy and unoptimized decks, which makes them ideal prey for aggro decks, looking for easy wins and free ranks.

To anyone complaining about Warlock's healing, please test it yourself in standard. Play not 1-2, but at least 15-20 games and try to survive against Face Hunter or Elemental Aggro Shaman, damaging yourself in the process to progress your quest. Hopefully then we will be able to talk about facts, not biased feelings...

Currently people dont play Control because quests will eat them alive.

Not really, people didn't play control decks in Barrens meta (pre-quest) either, so you can't blame just them. I agree they are currently contributing to this issue, but they are not solely responsible.

The real culprits are speed of the game and evergrowing lack of interactivity in many strategies. In general, control decks are good against board-centric decks, but with each expansion we have less and less minion combat as well as fight for the board. Being killed "from hand" is something that control decks simply cannot prevent or outdo, and that makes them uncompetitive.

If they don't nerf quest warlock, specifically the fatigue part, then that deck is going to terrorize the meta and control. Just because it keeps control decks in check doesn't mean it should be left alone. Card needs to change or it's going to be a long 2 years of quest lock

Quest Lock was actually designed to prey on slower decks (while also being rather weak against faster decks), so I don't see any reason to change that. Every archetype needs a counter, and if that counter isn't too popular (which is the case here, since Quest Lock has less than 5% meta presence right now) then everything is fine.

Also, knowing all the new cards I can tell, that Quest Lock will probably be the last hope for the entire class to stay relevant in the meta. Warlock got the weakest set in Alterac Valley (these Fel cards are mostly terrible), so if the meta doesn't magically slow down somehow, it will be a Quest or bust.

Warlock usually gets shitty sets, the good ones are actually rare exceptions. This one goes back to the roots after pretty solid United in Stormwind and Forged in the Barrens, which gave Warlock some viable and playable cards.

Now everything depends on Quest Lock, if he fails to stay relevant in the incoming meta, Warlock will be busted for couple weeks (again)...

Warlock got the weakest set, but at least Shaman looks promising.

It looks like Team 5 is pushing Zoo Lock yet again, which in my opinion is kinda disappointing, because I don't think we need another aggro / initiative oriented deck in the meta (especially boring one, like Zoo Lock). Something more control-ish would be appreciated.

1)by turn 6 or 7 warlock is usually done with quest

In Wild? Maybe. In Standard? Not a chance. These days I often need fatigue damage to finish the quest (because 24 damage is quite a lot) and that never happens before turn 9-10.

If Control Warlock will become a thing, this might be good, if not, it probably won't see play.
