posted a message on What to craft? - Opinions please

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Many of you are saying exactly what I am thinking... PW may be on its way out... the new Tainted Zealot may replace Thalnos just fine...

I guess the real thing to do is wait and see what happens. I've still gotten destroyed quickly by a few aggro decks (Druid especially seems ridiculous if it draws the nuts).

posted a message on What to craft? - Opinions please

So I got pretty lucky in my pack openings (and the free DK card), I believe, nabbing Priest, Mage, and Shaman DKs.

I know we are early in the meta, but I'm torn on what to craft. Part of me is thinking just craft the cards I need for Pirate Warrior (I need Patches and a few other cards)... It wouldn't be terribly expensive dust-wise, and PW is still strong. (Please no replies on how PW is cancer. It wins. I like winning. Winning is fun.)

I'm also thinking Mage is going to be pretty darn strong once things are settled. It's also a much more expensive deck to craft, depending on which way you go. The main thing is I don't have Pyros or Alexstraza. I think Sindragosa is too slow.

I have most of the cards for Priest already... although I am missing some key cards like Bloodmage Thalnos and The Lich King, but I have Ysera as a Lich King replacement for now.

Basically I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck with crafting. Patches for PW, but could be used elsewhere... Token Druid? I am missing a ton of cards for that. Thalnos is used in Mage and Priest, so that's a possibility, but is he really worth it? I just feel weird crafting a 1/1 either way, lol. Opinions please!

    Quote from rapon >>

Hey guys, I know it's only 3rd day after release and people are already calling for fix/nerf but this gotta stop... Defile is simply too op. I playrd with deahtrattle hunter and I had a lot of sticky minions and board with zombeasts summoned by N'zoth and with 2 FUCKING MANA the board is simply cleared. I am not only frustrated but really pissed off by some op cards. One of them could be as well spreading plague bcs when it's played you gotta press that fucking red concede button.

I think that it should cost 3/4mana or just trigger maximum 3 times.

    Gosh blizz...............

    Sirlin's "Play to win"

    Worth a read.

Besides why even care? My Priest DK deck have beaten every single pirate warrior and jade druid i have encountered.

Best post here. Nothing else needed to be said, really. Read the article. Thanks for sharing!

Its been auto include since day one in miracle rogue. Where have you been?

Yes but miracle rogue was nowhere to be found thanks to Quest. Now that Quest has been nerfed, I'm seeing a lot more miracle rogue.
Anyhow, yes, it's a great card, it's no surprise. My comment was more about the power creep. Someone else mentioned how it's not more unfair than cards like Assassinate or Hex (among their examples)... hello Assassinate costs the same, and you don't get a 3/4 body with it. The combo is ridiculously easy to pull off, so it's not like that's a significant drawback. Hex costs 2 less, and leaves you a taunt body on the board at least.
I'm not complaining about removal. I'm not complaining because one of my minions got killed by this thing. I'm saying it seems way more powerful than many other cards printed that do a similar effect. But whatev, I'll drop it and move on.

so you want to tell us that you lost with, let me guess jade druid, a few games in a row against rouge with vilespin and now youre wining in here, whilst saying its for 5 mana killing everything which is wrong because you have to run 0 Mana Cards wich are often, if you just want to kill a single minion on turn 5 completely useless.

WRONG. But hey, thanks for trying to guess my life. Try taking a writing class; you might have more success.

posted a message on Vilespine Slayer - WTF?

So I know we are all gung-ho on tomorrow's expansion release, but I needed to ask why I'm not seeing comments on how stupid OP Vilespine Slayer is. I've only started seeing it in Rogue decks recently (probably because everyone was trying to make Quest THE Rogue deck) but seriously how was this card not an auto include in any Rogue deck from the start?

Compare it to another 5-mana card: Stampeding Kodo - Granted Kodo is a neutral card, but still, for the same mana, you get a creature on the board with one less health, and can kill ANYTHING. How that's not considered the ultimate power creep broken is beyond me.

Am I missing something? How do you strategize around this, knowing that, come 5 mana, a Rogue can kill anything you have on board? And they can do this a minimum of two times during the game. More if they bounce the card.

Maybe this should have gone in the salt thread, and if so I apologize.... but I legit want to see people's opinions on this card. I did a search but didn't find any rants, lol.

Opened a few packs since the change, and got 3 legendaries. Cairne Bloodhoof was a good pull, but the other two...

Golden Millhouse Manastorm (I've dusted all three of my Millhouse pulls so far >.<)

    King Mosh

Would you dust these? (I'm not going to make a final decision until seeing all of the new set, but I'm leaning towards dusting Millhouse for sure.)

Well, If you need dust then dust it but.... STOP DUSTING HIM! lol You will never get him again if you keep him.
Well yes, but to be fair, when I've dusted him in the past, it was long before the new legendary/card pack changes.

    No.

Because you are asking about it on a forum. If you are talking about a value proposition? Sure. But what I evalute to be a valueable is by a 110% certainty different from what you value.

I keep ALL cards until they either get nerfed or until I want to craft something and even then I go and manually disenchant stuff that I don't want to keep around until I have the perfect amount.

So... no, I wouldn't because dusting cards when you don't plan to use the dust immediately is a sign of someone who's willing to waste all of their resources with no plan for the future... that or someone who has a large enough collection that they don't care anymore but then again, those folks don't post on forums asking so... *shrug*

So; if asking for opinions for advisonary purposes? No, never. Opinions out of curiosty? No, never.

Good advice in general, thanks. If I do dust anything, it will be with a plan to craft cards I need for whatever deck(s) I decide to play after the new set release.
I usually do not dust cards without a plan, and tend to like playing multiple decks, so I rarely dust cards anyway. Although admittedly I did rage dust my last Millhouse immediately after getting it. ;)

Do they test this shit before releasing this? The imbalance in the decks in these brawls is ridiculous.

posted a message on Blizzard, that is not the way...

If you want to win against Jade Druid, just play hunter or some other aggro deck.

P.S. Skulking Geist is great, love the card. Nothing RNG about it.
