The Maly OTK deck is NOT an easy win. I agree it is annoying as hell to face, but there's all kinds of interaction that takes place. Yes, like Exodia Mage, it can wreck you without a care in the world for you or what you are doing, but it takes a lot of skill to get to that point. You have to manage your opponent's threats while trying to draw up to your win condition. If you get a slow start against any kind of aggro, it's tough. If you use too many spells on board clears, you're pretty hampered. If Maly gets wiped out for any reason (Dirty Rat, overdraw in a mill deck, etc.)... gg.
I agree that the devs should revisit Wild and consider altering some cards for the good of that format, but I don't agree that this deck is ruining the meta.
Still working on testing. Haven't had much time to play. It's definitely fun, but not sure how competitive it is. I've won against all the popular decks... and lost. I made a few changes that I've updated to give it a little more staying power.
1. Set a limit to class cards that can be added to the decks
2. Every rarity should appear in specific amount like 15 common, 8 rare, 5 epic, 2 legendary
Without this kind of rules rng increases and amount of strategy while drawing cards decreases.
This would basically kill the game mode completely or changed it into something very very different, the randomness of the amount of cards of all rarities in your draft is one of the biggest driving forces arena has, however random and sometimes unfair it is.
One of the single biggest facts that keeps me from playing area is the RNG around rarity. I think there's still enough challenge to drafting and even RNG in what types of cards you get with each level of rarity, but when my opponent clearly out draws me on rarity alone... #superSalty (not that they always will, but it's just annoying).
Been working on a Wild deck inspired by Bom3k's Don't Touch the Eggs deck. I absolutely loved the concept. It had been a while since I touched wild, and that deck (along with the Brawliseum) made me want to play a lot more of it. The concept is simple: Lay an egg, then hatch it.
I've got a little breakdown of card choices in the description. Would love feedback from anyone that gives it a try.
I liked your deck idea so much, I was inspired to try a variant. This one is more deathrattle focused. If you have a chance to check it out, let me know what you think.
In all seriousness, SUPER fun deck! Thanks for posting it. I'm playing around with it a bit (mostly b/c I kept having to discard cards - found I was losing needed activators or targets for them, but just playing).
I tinkered with the deck and found that it also works as a N'Zoth style deck as well. Plays more control style than burst, but is directly inspired by this deck. Again, grtz!
Here's a link to my Spiteful Buff variant. Entirely inspired by this deck (credit where credit is due), just wanted to try it with Prince Keleseth. If you give it a try, let me know what you think.
30 packs and i got only 1 legendary - Unite the Murlocs #feelsbadman :-(
Not a single legendary in bundle. One golden epic. Pretty much a bust over all... BUT... I did get a golden Spiritsinger Umbra and The Last Kaleidosaur two packs later, so I guess it worked out.
Played a handful of games with this. LOVE IT! Congrats on the great idea. Corpsetaker is one of my favorite cards and this deck shows it some love. I also ran Young Dragonhawk in my buff deck ( Oooohhhh, that windfury synergy :)

And didn't people say Sunkeeper Tarim was gonna be a bust. Call to Arms wasn't expected to be as powerful either.

So... can we wrap up this thread:
No, it hasn't.

Hey Bom3K,

Deck should be called "Power Over-EZ"
...get it. Cause it's...an...egg refere... oh sheesh, never mind. Not funny if I have to eggsplain it (groans heard throughout the internet)
It's ok, I'm a dad... I'm licensed to make terrible jokes. Kappa ;)

Drygulch Jailor gives solid value. Adding Spiteful Summoner is GREAT call!
I cut one Doppelgangster and a Spikeridged Steed for one more spell, but would wonder what else you would cut? I think post nerf, I'd keep the Doppelgangster and cut the Corridor Creepers and add one Spellbreaker.
Thoughts?

yes... if you want to add to the cancer of the current meta ;)
