wait for the nerfs . also if doomgoard goes to hof ur fuckd
By fucked he means you would have to play the vastly more fun Wild opposed to the shit infested Standard.
People are saying the same thing about Kingsbane in that it’s better suited for Wild than standard at the moment. For me, that equals a much more fun game to play.
I say go for it, but it’s not that fun to play in all honestly. A Rin-controlock is more fun imo, and cheaper.
never ever spend that much on any deck, it's not good to spend that much. wait till you get more pieces, decks can be easily ruined with rotation, nerfs, meta changes and you will regret spending 5k dust, consider playing other decks for now.
and it will never be a completely control warlock meta, there are so many counters to that if it gets a lot of popularity and aggro decks stay away for a while, mill rogue is the real winner hear, also tempo mage can win warlocks pretty consistently.
my suggestion is to play another deck, sth cheaper, just think about warlock doesn't stay as tier 1, then Skull of the Man'ari and Prince Taldaram will be useless cards that can't be used any where else. also i think there is already a lot of lists without those 2 legendaries.
I feel this way too, but no one does this anymore unfortunately. I made a Lilian Voss roguebdeck for an off meta deck and it’s ultra fun. Screw the grind, have fun.
The announced nerfs roll around in February - that will change the meta, then the expansion and rotation will drop in March/ April - again shifting the meta.
Assuming it takes 4 weeks to settle and you are looking at best at 4 weeks before the expansion - if it stays in its current place.
Mountain giants may not be necessary after nerfa because thwy were just there tp beat down raza priest and taldaram is optional i would craft the faceless manipulaters they r classic and universally good i actually only ran 1 cube in the last season and finished top 500 legend. Skull is a must though
Whaaaat its super fun you can just imagine thhe look on aggro decks when you pull voidlord on 5 or 6 then faceless it. It looks like a concede and the mirror matches are insane! Its mountain giant chicken I had a ton of fun
I ran a list without Faceless and Prince and it worked well. I often felt that Faceless was just too clunky and Cubes (2x) are good enough to multiply Doomguards. Prince would be a solid addition, but I stay back from crafting it for now and wait for the upcoming meta.
Mountain Giants have always been solid in control variants of Warlock and will be in the meta every now and then.
The skull is mandatory for the deck and the only questionable craft, since we dont know hof rotations or the upcoming meta. I highly doubt Doomguard will be removed from standard though, the cards is pretty balanced.
So i´m asking if the prince is necessary in thsi deck or is there a replacement for it (second Cube)?
At the moment I own 4095 dust and can easily afford the needed 5240 dust, so is it worth crafting and is it viable after the rotation?
Thanks for your answers
I'm currently running a doomguardless lock as I'm buying into the concept of not needing them once raza goes away. If that deck becomes the One that that changes things dramatically.
Firstly, it means Skull is needed anymore. It was mostly to get doomguard out without losing key cards. The worst case of having 9 drops in your hand is dealable.
Taldaram MAY not be required. Useful but you could probably get away without having him you have a lot of ways of spamming Lords.
If the others are correct, the Giant may not even be needed. I know I removed him though currently it's to deal with aggro better. If aggro calms down they may go back in.
That leaves the Cube and the Faceless. Honestly I'd go for those two as I'm sure both will be useful later in this deck and others. The rest you can wait for after the patch.
Cards that are missing for the Cubelock Deck are: 2xMountain Giant , 2x Faceless Manipulator , 1x Carnivorous Cube , 1x [card]Skull of the Man'ari [/card] and Prince Taldaram.

dont do it.
wait for the nerfs . also if doomgoard goes to hof ur fuckd
The exact reaction Blizzard was looking for. Don't take the bait.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
How about you try an off-meta deck?

I bet its going to be really fun to craft your brand new deck then play against the same exact one over and over again

yes... if you want to add to the cancer of the current meta ;)
Thanks for your quick answers. I think I´ll sty at my zoolock till the rotation

You should know that crystal core rogue has something like a 80% winrate against cubelock.
If you are interested in ladder you should probably craft it since it's going to be OP .
If not than no cause it's not very fun.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
