I don't really care about achievements for older sets necessarily, I just wish there were cosmetic coins for completing older sets as a way to reward older players or even entice newer players.

Agreed. Darkmoon Faire came out a whole month before Descent of Dragons relatively speaking, and Galakrond's Awakening was released on January 21st, 2020. We should have gotten at least something by now

King Bagurgle is actually a card from the WoW TCG as well, and his art is used in the card I Am Murloc.

However, I could not agree more how monotonous and frustrating it is to play against the same 2-3 overtuned decks every single game.

Thank you screw, I appreciate the time you took to type all that out.

Unfortunately, with my learning disability I learn through doing and guidance as opposed to video and book.  Made school a real difficult task.

Would you be willing to watch a game and see what you think please?

My availability is pretty low these days, but if I ever get the chance, sure. Feel free to send a friend request to me on hearthstone. My battle net username is under my profile picture to the left.

Luckily, soon enough a lot of Evolve Shaman resources will be rotating. To name a few, Sludge Slurper, Desert Hare, Hoard Pillager, and Mogu Fleshshaper, which in my opinion, seem like some core cards in this archetype.

Not too sure where you are having problems, but I recently introduced a friend to the game, and here all of the mistakes I noticed he was making without realizing it. Disclaimer, I'm no pro, but I have been playing it since it came out so I have some experience.

    1. Towards the beginning, it's alright to have a build you would like to work towards, but don't spend all of your gold rerolling and looking for specific cards right away. It's alright to simply buy stat heavy minions to start off if you have to. Worry about synergies as you advance. I usually like to go for Elementals or Pirates, but I will often buy a minions Rockpool Hunter or Dragonspawn Lieutenant to start off, because you will usually win or tie for rounds 1 and 2.

    2. Know every card and what they do. It's very important to know what cards you are looking for. My aforementioned friend would frequently run out of time because he would have to read through every card, and wouldn't exactly know what he was looking for. I advise getting the Hearthstone deck tracker. Not only will it show you what cards are available in each tier, but it also shows you the percent chances of the outcomes of each battle, and it remembers the boards of opponents you previously faced. Coincidentally, that leads me right into my next point.

    3. Positioning and remembering opponent's board states are super important. Even guessing what they could be if you haven't faced them yet. An example of this would be if you see someone running 7 Elementals, it would be safe to guess that they either have a rather beefy Lieutenant Garr or Molten Rock that could be dealt with using an appropriately placed Poisonous minion. Additionally, there are key placing points for each type of build. I will provide the best examples possible.

Mechs: I usually like to have 1 or 2 Deflect-o-Bots attacking first and second, immediately followed up by a Mech with Taunt that will spawn more mechs, refreshing the Divine Shields.

Demons: If you get a Soul Juggler, make sure it's all the way on the right side of your board, so your Demons have a chance to proc as many Juggler hits as possible.

Pirates: You will want your Southsea Captains, Ripsnarl Captains, and Dread Admiral Elizas to the right as well, so your other Pirates have a chance to buff themselves and the board.

The list could go on. Once again, i'm no pro, but these are mistakes I noticed someone making before. I hope some of this was helpful

Thank you to everyone who voted for me to get to this round. Since the last Class Competition, I've had the idea for this class and its keyword.

    I present to you, Harvest:

Harvest is essentially the Scheme mechanic from Rise of Shadows, but it applies to minions and weapons as well. I am very excited to show all of you some of the ideas I have with this keyword. Here is a sneak peak at two of them, with some help I need with one of them.

"Call me crazy, but I swear I just saw C'Thun hiding in that thing."

"Great at cutting down wheat, barley, and foes."

Now this is the one I'm worried about. Does this card seem balanced? I feel like this design may be a little dangerous.

And lastly, my basic Hero Power is "Give a minion +2 Health." For an upgraded Hero Power, would +3 or +4 be more acceptable? Thank you to anyone that helps me.

Rather than changing the effect again, they should just make him 7 mana. Would be a huge weakness against aggro

Upon hearing of the pending invasion of the Rusted Legion, Azeroth’s greatest engineers put their heads together to combat this impending doom. Though simple folk, the citizens of Westfall have quite the ace up their sleeve...

I have designed this class with two main objectives in mind. Buff/debuff minions and survive. I believe my three showcase cards, and most of my other Basic Cards will show this.

    Showcase

    Flavor Texts

Defias Saboteur: "He wasn't always about sabotaging. He was actually known as a preserver before the House of Nobles ripped off the Stone Masons."

Westfall Stew: "If it's not the Murloc eyes that turn you away, it'll surely be the okra."

Rusty Scythe: "It isn't poisonous if you got your tetanus shot."

    Remaining Basic Cards:

*Note* The class is called "The Farmer," but the Hero is called "The Scarecrow."

Does the Class itself have to relate thematically to the expansion we choose to have it release with?

Preferably yes. But you don't have to. Maybe try to do one or two cards that match the expansion, and the rest are just randoms.

Now should these one or two be in the Basic Set or the Initiate?
