Hey! I'm fairly new to playing priest and I'm not that great at Hearthstone, but this is the deck I made when I combined a few other decks. Please tell me/give me advice on how to improve it!

I have a big problem with the weak early game I have, and sometimes the game is basically over before turn 5 due to some bad draws/mulligans. I also don't have Sylvanas .-.

Or the Spanish Inquisition, for that matter.

Part of the problem people have with Patron Warrior is that, if given no resistance whatsoever, it can set up a 30+ damage combo to kill you in one turn. I find fun in the puzzle of winning without playing low-attack minions, but it seems some people aren't able to adapt their playstyle for the matchup.

I find it strange that people judge this card badly and then act smug about voting for the other option. You didn't know what either card did, and the blood elf could have been even worse. This was just luck, something you shouldn't take a personal pride in.

I have a little hope for this card. It would be nice when used with Feign Death to give you some damage splash on your opponent. Other than that, the boom bot deathrattles don't really seem significant enough to warrant playing the card.
Until we get better 7-drops, though, we won't have much of a choice. Maybe there will be better legendaries for that slot revealed later on. Time will tell.

Ball of Spiders is one part of a 2-card draw engine that fills your hand. It doesn't compete with Savannah Highmane, Sylvanas, or Thaurissan because you don't drop it on turn 6. You drop it on turn 8 with Feign Death to fill the hand that you've come close to emptying. It's good that Hunter finally has something to fill that 8-mana slot with.
This card isn't as abysmally bad as you seem to think. As the card pool grows, it becomes increasingly difficult to fit everything you want into a deck. Ball of Spiders solves this problem by being three cards in one, allowing you to cheat the system and fit more cards into your deck than you normally could. The Webspinners provide you with beasts, allowing you to fill the rest of your deck with fewer minions and more spells. This in turn increases the effectiveness of Lock and Load, which gives you all sorts of Hunter cards and increases the size of your deck even more. You don't need to draw out everything in your "real" deck as quickly as a Rogue or Warlock would, but you can still sift through it with Tracking, and stall to draw more cards while your opponent deals with the stampede of beasts you've just dropped down.
I'd say forcing the game to slow down by having players take multiple turns to finish combos and get value is great gamedesign from blizz.

Allow me to analyze the value of this card in context of slower Hunter decks, of which I have played quite a lot.
Ball of Spiders is not meant to be played on turn 6, it is meant to be played in a Deathrattle Hunter with Feign Death. Doing so spends 8 mana and puts 3 minions into your hand this turn, as well as giving you 3 1/1s that put 3 more minions into your hand next turn. If we compare that to the value you get from Neptulon, that's not a bad deal.
In fact, this shows an interesting trend in the future of Hunter. It seems that the ridiculous card draw engines we once had are no more, and they will never come back because of how there is no setting between "off" and "high" on the power scale. Instead, we get ways to fill our hand without thinning our deck. Ball of Spiders/Feign Death combo provides us with the minion half of our card draw needs, whereas Lock and Load holds off the spell front. All in all, I'd say it's a healthy addition to an unexplored archetype.

Actually, I'd say that Druids make the most use of Thaurissan. He enables much stronger Force of Nature combos, which in turn punish Warlock for every single life tap. I'd say that Thaurissan, because he encourages burst combos, actually weakened Warlock.

I'm actually a college student who hasn't spent a dime on Hearthstone. I won't tell you how you should play this game, but I will tell you how you shouldn't play it. Play the game however you want, so long as you're not preying upon newer players for your own juvenile satisfaction.

The level of hate in this thread stems from the fact that farming wins against new players is a way to leech off of the community for a shortcut to what would normally be an inevitable milestone. When new players try their hand at the ladder and get stomped by perfect pro decks, it discourages them from continuing with the game. Farming at rank 20 stifles the growth of the entire game so that someone can get a little closer to an inconsequential element of the game that they would get anyway. You have to admit that's pretty selfish.

You didn't think to Brawl to kill one of the minions, finish the other off with your weapon, and then play Shieldmaiden to take back the board and swing out of combo range?
