So it can endlessly rescue you.
Thought so too. Needs different wording. Or deathrattle: turns into a dormant dead ass dog.

lite0 posted a message on Leeroy is THE problem actuallyPosted in: General Discussionnah.
when a deck is a strong as tempo rogue is, you start to feel like every card is broken. Stuff like Leeroy and Sap aren't broken but they "feel" like it when rogue is already so far ahead after slapping your shit.
It's the raiding party package that tips rogue over the edge. raiding party draws you great tempo cards with great synergy that curves out perfectly. Think about how good master's call made midrange hunter, now consider if you could play every one of the cards you draw over the next two turns and have them all be hugely impactful.

XanKortal posted a message on Nerfs are not the solution- Buffs are.Posted in: General DiscussionAll of the "buffs" that have been listed here are not really buffs. They are more like improvements to the quality of experience. They are basically coding fixes, not stat or interaction enhancements.
The DK Rexxar "buff" was mostly neutral in the end because his pool of beasts getting bigger also dilutes the good results into a much larger group of options.
"Neutral"?
Stoneskin basalisk, plated beetle, cave hydra, dire mole, vilebrood skitterer, and viscious scalehide all got added in one lump with... 2 bad cards and 3 kind of okay cards in the mix? That doesn't dilute the pool, it just makes the pool have more options that are fantastic with no downside.
There's a video of Ben Brode saying that North Sea Kraken is not a beast back in TGT, and yet in The Witchwood it was given the beast tag. Or how in that same patch Mountain Giant and Molten Giant gained the Elemental tag, despite it being a full year since Ungoro. Those are not a "coding fix" types of change, those are straight up buffs.
A "coding fix" would be Shudderwok having its animations sped up and having the max number of battlecries mucked with. A "coding fix" was when they added "stops playing card when dies/silences/polymorphs" to Tess Greymane, since it was always intended to have the yog saron limitation and it continuing was a bug. When 5 days later, they reverted the bug intentionally and said that they preferred Tess playing all the cards even if she dies, that was not a "coding fix".

Concerning spirit of the shark and Elysiana yes you get double the battlecry as well thus 20 cards.
That's not how it works. Elysiana will clear your deck, then adds 10 cards to it. If you replay her battlecry, she'll just clear the 10 cards from the original battlecry and then replace them with 10 other cards. You'll always get just 10.

Mgalekgolo posted a message on Tier S - Meta Breaking - Control MagePosted in: MageQuote from mianiplays >>Quote from Mgalekgolo >>Quote from mianiplays >>funny thing is he's right, he's only quoting you with what you said in response to malygoddd's post. lol, if anything, looking through your responses to people you seem rather arrogant, when in reality this list is pretty much just like all the rest going around, but I guess you gotta use the clickbait titles and everything so it gets viewed right....not to mention providing zero stats/proof of your "statements". lol
Sorry if I sound arrogant, english isn't my first language.
I provided answers to every card discurssion in this thread, I'm not just making an statement.
I will provide stats once I have them. I'm not playing much more than 5 games a day, I will not come here with a 15 games sampling size. The main reason I made this thread is for others that want to try the deck give me a feedback.I did delete my original post because I didn't want to get into an argument but you've responded before I edited it by the looks of it.
While maybe I can understand your intentions you have to realise claiming a deck to be "Tier 1", "S Tier", "Meta breaking", "OMG WOW LOOK AT THIS OP DECK MUST TRY NOW WTF" without any stats or proof, people are going to react to it, you've made comments about how you think this deck is s tier because "you know what you're talking about" and I saw you also commented how you expect this deck to dominate until the next expansion, those are very bold statements to make without anything to back them up with.
I'll leave it at that, have a nice day.

I cant speak for yall, but I'm having fun in this adventure. Sure it's a copy of other adventures, but I'm enjoying all of the new heroes and hero powers as well as treasures. Say what you want but if you dont enjoy it, dont buy it. My only complaint is having to wait a week for the next heroes to come out.

Just beat a Lucentbark druid as control priest. Was able to successfully Mind Control both lucentbarks he created before he could make more. Then I found a Faceless Manipulator through Madame Lazul to get a third one. Kinda wish he didnt concede so the game could've gone on longer

Unseen Saboteur is an interesting card. In theory it shuts down decks like token druid who end up using their board buffs inefficiently, but surviving until turn 6 to pull that off is difficult considering the only reason youre not on the back foot now is because their board buffs havent been drawn yet. Even then, you're playing a 5/6 for 6 with no taunt so it doesn't stop the onslaught of minons. The same thing can be said about Baron Geddon and Tunnel Blaster, they are cards that in theory beat token, but in reality are too slow to defend yourself. Additionally, if your main purpose is to increase tempo to deal with early boards, cards like Thoughtsteal and Weaponized Pinata are not effective as they provide little to no tempo at all. Therefore, aside from an amazing Griftah pull, there is no real reason to run Princess Talanji. Chameleos while in theory could be a good card, ends up being an awful topdeck (which you'll be doing a lot of because your deck has only two reliable draws) and too inconsistent despite possibly revealing the opponent's entire hand over the course of 6 turns (which in and of itself is too long to get any sort of value). Also, EVIL Conscripter is just a bad card, token style decks hold no synergy within priest whatsoever. Bronze Gatekeeper is also a bad card in this deck, despite synergy with itself and Zilliax, 1 damage is not enough to contest wide tempo boards; technically, Belligerent Gnome contests those boards very well, but we have yet to see his popular use. I also just noticed that you have no single-target removal which could prove detrimental in a control warrior matchup where you cant deal with massive mechs.
Some recommendations: Here is a control preist deck I built the other day. I opted to use what little dragon synergy there is to create it. You can contest early boards somewhat with tempo minions, and still have some control tools. In the deck description I talk about some ideas I have for a theory craft I am working on, your ideas are greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the long post

This is the definition of meta-defining
2
Peoples issues with quest rogue are misguided towards the quest when it's the power of cheap charge minions that truely enable that deck

But that's the thing aggro is much less of an autopilot than control. When you play control you're hoping for specific cards to counter the opponent's board, where's the skill in that? When you play aggro, sure you could play all your minions and rush face but if they have an answer you lose outright. A better way to play is to conserve resources and bait board clears before going all in
