The concept is awesome for sure. But I wouldn't put it on a ranked mode. If this were to exist, it'll probly take about 2 days until someone finds a broken combo with cards from different classes.
Not really. Exodia mage is atm such high tier bc it wins the grind game vs jade druids.
Jade druid can be countered with Skulking Geist, but it doesnt fully stop the jades and you better draw it b4 they've summoned some jades out of idol. But my biggest issue with the card is that it's 6 mana and has horrible stats, making it suicidal if you are already behind on board.
Quest mage on the other hand has multiple counter options: Dirty Rat, to prematurely throw out their apprentice or antonidas. There are also minions that increase spell cost, A counterspell at the right moment, or best yet: Eater of Secrets. The majority of these having a direct impact & presence when thrown on board, while geist sits there with its 4/6 stats...
Druid currently sits at god tier due to its ability to deal with both aggro and control. Aggro is nullified thanks to things such as spreading plague. While control, unless it's a very specific counter deck, druid can pretty much grind out every game with its armor generation and ability to play empty their hands and instantly recharge with ultimate infestation.
I don't think it's jades specifically but all the cards druid has to ensure they get to that stage where jades become a menance. You can prove this by simply looking at other archetypes such as aggro druid, which doesn't use jades and still manages to be top tier especially with the new cards I mentioned before. These decks were already very powerful in Un'goro and have now received nothing but more support.
So, yes it is a very big problem. When a meta revolves around either playing as or countering druid decks it is an unhealthy meta. And if you are being a druid apologizer then it just goes to show how you are incapable of understanding how this game's balance functions, or how you just want you cheap rank ups.
It should be said though, that crying OP and threatening to quit playing is very childish and attention whore-ish.
I originally thought to do a nerf list but I think we all know what cards would be the prominent topic. Thus let's do a wishlist of what you'd want to have buffed!
Only cards from Knights of the Frozen Throne allowed!
E.G.:
Moorabi: 4/6 in stats. Making it a bit stickier is fair with such a niche effect.
Blood-Queen Lana'thel: add "when you discard this, return it to your hand.". This way you aren't forced to play it instantly and it synergizes with itself!
As always, keep it civil (duh) and it's all subjective, so tear your heart out!
I got the same. I am at rank 12 in standard and rank 9 in wild. But when I go unranked I am always facing players that barely have any cards. For some reason the mmr almost always matches me up with obviously new players. I'ts impossible to have proper matches this way...
Kinda yes. I don't think the sole problem lies with innervate. Druid has so many tools to ramp out and they can do so with little punishment thanks to cards like Spreading Plague and Ultimate Infestation. The first one solves any form of aggro while the scarabs having 5 health is barely even clearable. The latter is the real problem though. It makes every form of druid good no matter what. You can spend all your cards early on to ramp up and then use infestation to return to value instantly.
Lastly, all these cards simply make jade druid too insanely good. Originally they were weak to aggro but now they can effectively deal with it. Not to mention infestation allows you to play rushy and reload on idols with little to no problem. And due to the nature of idol, infestation will basically never mill you.
I think innervate simply adds to the powerhouse of cards druid has recieved, but aside from its movement to hall of fame, I think infestation needs a very very serious re-evaluation. And jade druid cards need a looking into as well.
If you're not sure then definitely wait it off if your goal is to rank up the ladder. If it's just for pure fun, all death knights seem honestly pretty darn decent in their own regard so whatever you like is simply put: good.
I personally love Frost Lich Jaina, so much that I disenchanted it and crafted the golden version. I've played her a lot and although her deck build seems pretty good, she seems hard to build around the current popular picks, I haven't figured it out completely yet but I do manage to have slightly above 50% WR. She struggles a lot against evolve shaman and jade druids.
Other ones I love are Deathstalker Rexxar & Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Hunter has carried me in wild from rank 20 all the way to rank 9 atm. Seems that people playing insanely greedy allows you to ignore trading alltogether sometimes and just push for damage like pure filth. Unfortunately it gets countered pretty badly by taunt druids, due to how swarmy the deck is, which druids can punish with Spreading Plague. Warlock bc it's control warlock making a return. But with demons!!! And without goddang Reno Jackson.
Least one I like has to be Uther of the Ebon Blade. although the weapon is ca$h and the concept of the hero power is awesome, I just don't see the exodia combo working out well (which considering that it's an instakill is probably actually a good thing). At least not in the paladin decks I enjoy using.
Basically the title, did the expansion make the game as a whole better or did it worsen things? Obviously it's very soon to be asking this but I'm still interested in how people are experiencing things so far.
E.G:
"The game has been improved bc matches are now less about rushing and far more about interaction and careful decision making, not to mention you no longer lose solely because your foe rushed sooner."
OR
"The game is worse bc with the advent of control decks any form of aggro is now obsolete, not to mention that control decks tend to be more expensive and ruin the f2p experience."
Keep it civil (obviously) and don't forget that it's all entirely subjective, so tear you hear out :)
Bruh calm your mantits i posted that like 3 weeks ago and its a far cheaper variant. With f2p i mean you dont have to grind dust like a madman to get a card that is only viable in some decks. If you think f2p players are going to waste their life away for some few legendaries then you are as srupid as you are angry at random comments
Elemental mage is deff my favorite for standard. You can control during early game, draw out your cards and eventually make sick comebacks in the late game with frost lich jaina and other tools.
What kind of list do you run? I keep playing with mine but I can't seem to win more then 2-3 games in a row without subsequently losing 2-3 in a row. It does really well against priest and control paladin but warlock shits all over it as does N'Zoth Warrior. Been thinking about Running an aggro druid deck or something just to get out of the lower ranks so teching actually means something

As a tavern brawl it would be the best thing yet.

It's intentional. The damage it deals has been poisoned.
As a side note, with cards such as Shadowflame this doesn't work, as it's the spell dealing the damage.

This is pretty nice! You should do a weekly playrate examination if you have the time. It would be awesome to see how playrates shift.

You must be very lazy at deck designing then, I've been having 0 trouble with druids using my priest deck. or quest mage.
also, pirate warrior lmao mate you are getting hard countered. well deserved tbh.
