Thanks for the medal - boy, Gee knows I wanted one since they used to put donkey-earred crowns on my head back at school. Was really a king back then.
All the cards I just listed destroy any aggro deck - sure, that's why the only meaningful aggro deck that's out there is either Pirate Warrior or Token druid, which happen to set lethal before many of those AoE get to become playable. A deck like Asmodai's setting lethal at turn 6? Mh, hardly so - save for the case of perfect mulligan, which I already enlisted.
As I was just saying to Mr./Mme. Spectralfire1984, my point was that this deck does not add much to the plain-jane mid-range Hunter - fill the board, buff the beasts, go face and keep your fingers crossed against taunts/AoE. Therefore, being that exposed to even basic removals, it surely needs a superior player controlling it - a praise to Mr. Asmodai, in fact. I'm sure your IQ got you that message ahead of anyone out here.
Should we all stop playing aggro - pls no, otherwise how could I rank?
You're welcome. I'm glad I uncovered some mystery of the game for the world to know.
I'm sure Asmodai is a fabulous player, that's what led him L1. As for me, I rarely reach Legend at all. My point was - this deck does not solve any of the issues of all aggro decks. Sure, it packs some extra turn 1-2-3 speed; can push opponent life to 20 by turn 4, wow. But unless it is supported by some superior playing and planning skills, it hardly survives any AoE.
Therefore, praise to Mr. Asmodai for taking such a difficult deck that high.
Sure, if mulligan's right (strictly, Alleycat + Crackling Razormaw + "right" evolve (+3 attack // drop 2 1/1 minions) + Bearshark + Houndmaster), this deck can hurt, almost win straight up. In all other cases it can be easily dealt with.
OP IMHO too. Tried to counter it with all classes, only way I could win was by outlasting it. Made it with DK Lich and Jade. Aggro stands absolutely no chance unless it gets best of the best mulligan -- and Priest doesn't top-deck AoE.
All relevant aggro decks nerfed: Token druid (innervate), Pirate Warrior (win axe) and Murloc Paladin (war leader). Jade will brush off this nerf like it's nothing.
Not enough. Get ready for some more months of Jadestone.
Unfortunately correct - unless Blizz just kills Jade Idol. Skulking Geist is but a pathetic, lousy, clumsy, expensive (6 mana!!) remedy to'em.
i don't like that they nerfed the anti-aggro card, would have been much happier with a jade card nerf
Complete agree. This card just destroyed all aggro on Druid - 7 cost would have been even better. Looking now for some serious Jade Idol nerf. Let's just get rid of these pesky little putses from the ladder!
Unplayable - and useless. Pay 2 to discover, say, Rhino and Cobra; gonna play that at turn 7? By that time Mage or even Priest'll have already smashed Hunter's face...
I will say it's bad because control hunter never was a thing, but I hope I'm wrong.
Total agree unfortunately... been loving mid-range hunter ever since day 0, Frozen Throne be just sweeping it away... After turn 8-9 Hunter simply disappears. Hero Power's just useless, 2+ cost of a decent beast can't just match already Jade Druid or Lich Jaina

Very beatable deck even in mid-game. AoE just rips the skin off it. Dragonfire Potion, Flamestrike, Brawl, Defile, even a regular Spreading Plague just mean the end of its steam.

As soon as Raza gets picked match ends.

Pointless change. Hex is for 8+ / heavily buffed minions. At that point in the game Shams can well afford to pay either 3 or 4.

Very good nerf - like every nerf that gets me/us rid of Pirate Warrior from this game.
Hope next in line comes either Patches the Pirate or N'Zoth's First Mate.
