LOL!!! I see all the Druid players saying this card is not going to change anything...just wait and see..I already have pretty good idea of how to use it and when.
I was determined to stop spending money on HS seeing my favorite class going down the drain. Seeing the revealed cards, mage will be able to have some strong decks BSM, odd maybe tempo (who knows). I'll wait to see the rest of the cards but for now it looks like it will be ok to spend a few bucks on this expansion. I am keeping an eye on the warlock (the potential ultimate combo killer), hunter, paladin and priest cards as well.
I think this excludes your first draw right? So, if I start it's "just" 3 cards.
Seems very clunky, unless there is a good combo.
Maybe this replaces simulacrum?
Not sure but the "first opening hand" for me means you start the game with 4 - 5 cards because it includes the first draw. Opening hand: the cards you have in hand before playing.
More than 12200 wins here never reached Legend. Don't feel the need to reach it..too grindy...not my thing. I'm ok with rank 5 once I reach it...I just fool around trying decks just for the fun of it. Presently, I am not even trying to climb anymore....just doing dailies while waiting for all these non interactive decks (created to help average players climb the meta) to disappear, hopefully in April.
Sometimes it's just a disconnection. Most of the time its a rage quit and I love it when a player does it instead of conceding. Not only I beat him but I got on his nerves lmao!!
Can see play... I can see this happening easily : play a taunt turn 3 (like Creep) then this one turn 4...chances to activate overkill is totally possible.
I think Void contract would fit in an Even warlock deck to be used with Bloodloom and should be used before turn 8. Actually turn 5 - 6 would be ideal before druids start to draw. Using the combo too early would be a mistake you need to draw cards and with a 1 mana draw hero power...you can draw like hell in the first turns first to get a max of cards (should mulligan for Bloodloom). Chances you will get bloodloom and Void quite fast. Normally you would have then more cards than your opponent when you play Void Contract. The idea for this deck built around this card is that it should be able to handle the loss of 6 - 9 cards which could be totally possible if the cards yet to be revealed gives warlock the means to do so. Theory: the deck should be built with solid stand alone cards, forget synergy, just minions having summon, heal, deathrattle, taunt etc etc. With an opponent who has lost half of this deck and less cards than you in hand you should have a huge advantage. An aggro deck would lose steam and be out of minions quite fast...specially if they lose their finishers. As for control decks well, if its a combo deck he is done otherwise the others control are likely to lose their key cards. Looks interesting on the paper but again we need to see the other cards of the expansion to see if this card can see play.

Playing any of these cards with Elemental Evocation :
Turn 1 : Igneous Elemental, Tar Creeper, Pyros + Fire Fly ,
Shimmering Tempest + Fire Fly (and if you get another Elemental Evocation from Tempest..WOW!)
Turn 2 : Fire Plume Phoenix Cosmic Anomaly Water Elemental Steam Surger
Turn 3 : Bonfire Elemental Servant of Kalimos
Turn 4: Frost Elemental Frozen Crusher, Arcanosaur
Turn 5 : Blazecaller Stormwatcher Baron Geddon
deck should have Primordial Glyph to fish for more Elemental Evocation

I really appreciate that although Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk fits well in an Odd mage deck but it can also be used in any Mage deck thanks to Spirit of the Dragonhawk , Daring Fire-Eater and Waterboy. Who knows Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk could be a nice finisher in a tempo mage deck (really hope tempo can come back)

We haven't seen most of the cards and you are already saying that this expansion is much better? Wow! How old are you?
