Elderhacker222 posted a message on Patchwerk destroys a Horsemen in the deckPosted in: General DiscussionHey guys, this might be a common bug. Recently, Patchwerk destroyed my Foul Egg and Thassarian and I didn't summon a 3/3 nor did I deal 2 damage to a random enemy :(

ankha posted a message on Would a 40 card deck limit be better for Hearthstone?Posted in: General DiscussionChanging a fundamental rule in Hearthstone permanently is a terrible idea on its own. Not only that, most decks thrive off of only having 30 cards in their deck, by forcing everyone to change to 40 will significantly decrease the power of most decks while making already strong 40 card decks even stronger in the meta. If your idea of variation is hoping your opponent gets unlucky with inconsistent draws for the archetype they're running, they'll end up getting frustrated and quit playing the deck. Then they realize the pool of decks who do well with 40 cards is quite small and constricts play style heavily. Then they get bored and quit the game.
Renathal is great because he allows certain decks to thrive with a 40 card, 40 health limit, but he isn't required to run, which allows for players to enjoy their other decks.

GiantHaystacks posted a message on Is the last fight before legend rigged?Posted in: General DiscussionTwo questions...
1. How would they rig it? Pair you up with an available player with a tendency to play a deck that counters yours, who is themselves not on the final match before Legend?
2. Why would they do it? Your path to Legend is no different to his, hers or mine and yet other people do get to Legend. So why is your progress being singled out?
Also, take some time to toss a coin a few thousand times. See if there are any sequences of heads / tails that look suspicious...

OoZuNoO posted a message on Arena Card Reveal - 14 New Cards!Posted in: NewsWHAT? This is amazing! The power level here is way high, many of these deserved their own separate reveal:
Serrated Bone Spike is busted. The fact it discounts ANY card is ridiculous, autoinclude in every rogue deck until it rotates.
Bibliomite can fit in any aggressive DH list just fine. Not only does DH have draws for days to mitigate it, you can use it to manipulate effects like outcast/Caria Felsoul or any shenanigans that require you to not draw specific cards too early. Love it.
All 3 hunter cards are great and will see play in a new face hunter list, no doubt.
Forensic Duster is the set sleeper. Team 5 is doing all they can to make the board relevant again, so a Cult Neophyte for minions is certainly finding a home in many decks, specially slower ones who wish to fend off aggro. Probably gonna see a nerf down the line, premium stats for such a powerful effect on a neutral is just nuts.
Muckborn Servant is good in slow paladin lists, not sure how viable holy paladin will be, but if it is then this will see play there.
The rest goes from meh to unplayable. Still a lot of insane cards that didnt quite get a highlight. Was a bit worried about the set overall quality, not anymore.

parzival2345 posted a message on Petition to blizzard - Change (buff/unnerf) Tinkmaster Overspark in Hearthstone to cost 5-6 and effect targets.Posted in: General DiscussionOn the one hand, this is stupid.
On the other hand, I would have no issue with blizzard reverting tink.
Just please make good arguments if you're gonna bring up something like this. Your conclusion may not be wrong, but your argument is atrocious

Faustivious posted a message on Micro Mummy In Battlegrounds Disabled Once AgainPosted in: Newsit's just a small indie company
I absolutely love when somebody post this statement. It's just so funny, because, because, as you know, Blizzard is not a "small indie company". But what you've done, you've gone and said that they are. You, you little devil you, you're implying that a major AAA game developer is a "small indie company", because sometimes, sometimes they make mistakes, and you, you would expect mistakes like that from a "small indie company". Not one with the experience and man power as Blizzard. You're, you're trying to say that this is the best Blizzard can do, but it's really not. Every move Blizzard makes is like they are some start up gaming company. You, you're being sarcastic in calling them a "small indie company", when in fact ,they really are not. I see what you, and hundreds of other posters are trying to get at. I get it. Good one. Good one indeed. You, you keep up that good work in pointing out their flaws. I'm, I'm gonna keep my eye on you. You, You're something special. Well done sir. Well done indeed.

I would play her in Zoo if she cost 6 and was a 4/6 taunt.
10
I mean, 6 mana? Sure, why not? That's only a Possessed Lackey with +2/+4, taunt, battlecry instead of deathrattle, and the ability to summon two big demons instead of one. There's no way that'd be too powerful.
2
The powercreep is unreal this expansion. Next thing you know, they'll be printing a 3-drop that summons a 4/4 taunt, a 4/2 charge, or a 2/4 that buffs all your minions by +1 attack.
2
Chef Nomi fills your board.
2
The problem with making it "Gain +2 attack" is that it creates just as many problems as it would solve, maybe more. As it stands, the DH hero power is the functional equivalent of a Genn hero power, but without the need to play only even-cost cards. Your way though, it would be the equivalent of a Baku hero power without the need to play only odd-cost cards. This would worsen its synergy with cards like Satyr Overseer and Battlefiend, sure, but it wouldn't matter, because now you're playing with a class that can solo the opponent's early game with hero powers alone.

Today I was having a rough day, so I thought I'd get on and have a nice, relaxing game of Hearthstone or two to cool off. Needless to say, it didn't work AT ALL!
Immediately I cued into an opponent who was playing Shaman. Already I was feeling hopeless, but I decided to play it out. I managed to get two Battlefiends in play plus a Satyr Overseer by turn three. It was looking good, but what did my opponent do? That's right, he cast Lightning Storm. Lightning Storm!!! Lucky bastard. All of my minions gone, just like that. What was Blizzard thinking putting such a brokeback card in the fucking game? Dealing 2-3 damage to all enemy minions for only three mana is insane! I kept going, praying I could mount a comeback, but when turn 8 came around he dropped Walking Fountain and healed out of range of my second charge of Metamorphosis. Unbelievable. One game in and already I'm getting trolled by this bullshit RNG clown fiesta of a class. So fun!!! :)
I hope one day Blizzard gets their shit together and balances this garbage. It's not fun queueing up my full netdeck Demon Hunter only to run into a braindead Shaman player who happens to draw all the cards they need to not die on turn 5. It's not a good look when you add a brand new class, only to have it lose every game to overpowered cards that have been around forever like Lightning Storm and Stormforged Axe, which can easily trade 3 for 1 with zero room for counterplay.

Good?

That's because the game is still in beta.

Pretty strong addition to Duel Paladin. Turn 3 Call to Adventure into this is potentially a meta breaker.
