your saying it right, something like that. get your deck to focus more on the combo you want to do aka: more cycle and some anti aggro tools for survival. you wont need to expect to win against control but if you do its nice. get your deck full of sjitty cycle cards and when you swap hand and deck they cant do anything. and also when the combo cant go off you always can use the cycle to draw and use their deck.
Unless I'm missing something (which I might be?) if the OTK is playing one Chef Nomi (as again unless I'm missing something there's no way to copy Nomi?) with all the big board clears around at the moment then it's dealt with too easy. In a world where Shaman can play 4 8/8's on 7 and it not be strong enough I can't see this working.

There are cards to deal with big boards. Chef Nomi -> Wave of Apathy -> Mindrender Illucia -> Then on your next turn you Mass Dispel and win. The only problem is dealing with other Priest other than surviving.
Also worth mentioning that you can't actually get through taunts using mass dispel, since if your opponent's smart, they can just play your mass dispel on their turn and then you don't get it back.

Stop crushing my OTK dreams. Can't be creative in Hearthstone :(
I was wondering the same how to play Mindrender Illucia after Chef Nomi and well your board is full so you need to have The Coin to use a Shadow Word: Death on a minion to play Illucia after or if you really want to play Wisp then play it then Nomi then Holy Smite the Wisp then Illucia.
It can work if you can get to the END game consistently.

Yeah its pushing it with the amount of combo pieces but it still sounds fun to me
However this is scary thought to have a big board an opponent cannot answer it because you played Illucia and he has no removals for it,it may not work specifically with Nomi well but whenever you have a big board somehow its better than Loatheb.
Do you think something like this could work?

If a standard control priest with plague of death and soul mirror can beat you.. no chance
How do you Illucia after you Nomi?
We swap hands and decks so they can't use it on me but a warrior could probably beat it with their armor and just tank everything.

Nomi (7 mana) + Wave of Apathy (1 mana) + Illucia (2 mana) = 10 Mana

Chef Nomi fills your board.

Zoo Priest might just be tad OP with Illucia.
I might be mistaken, but I thought I heard at some point during the DoD Reveal period that Galakrond cards don't have any effect without Galakrond.
Maybe test this first, but in that case, Disciple of Galakrond and Fate Weaver won't do anything unless you also include Galakrond.
