posted a message on Priest Death Knight Revealed: Shadowreaper Anduin

Valeera gives you an Ice Block that goes away after your turn is over, and it's more like a heal. For 9 Mana. Anduin's effect is a lot more similar to Lightbomb and it definitely isn't a SW:D. Plus, the hero power is sick.

Yup, gotta correct you. Raza's effect remains the entire game, regardless of hero power changes.

posted a message on New Epic Card Revealed - Tomb Lurker

I think it's nice because it's easily controllable. In a deck like the old N'zoth Paladin list, which ran Tirion, Cairne, and Sylvanas only, this card would be a great addition. I don't think it's meta-defining but certainly it should see some experimentation. 4 stars

Judging from your username you aren't qualified to speak favorably about 4 mana 3/5s because you automatically have a confirmation bias. /s

    posted a message on Barnes

Barnes will be at worst a 4 mana Spider Tank + 1/1 which is worse than a yeti in almost all cases. HOWEVER, the reason why I think Barnes will be insane is because of synergy with on-board effects, inspire, and deathrattle cards. If you design a deck around it (say, Freeze Mage), you can almost be guaranteed value. You will get a Loot Hoarder, Bloodmage Thalnos, Archmage Antonidas, Malygos, Emperor Thaurissan, or Alexstrasza (vanilla 1/1), and by late game you can already reduce your options to get exactly what you want. In other words, it can become an additional win condition, which is extremely important against almost any matchup. Retrospectively, you can just stick it into a deck with lots of deathrattles or on-board effect minions (cough Control Paladin with Tirion, Sylvanas, Cairne, either Ragnaroses, Ysera, etc etc) and still profit most of the time. Heck, just getting a 1/1 with divine shield or taunt could be decent too.

Its 4/5 in stats at the worse, which is a yeti. If it gets a good card it could be worth quite a bit more. Death rattles in particular could be a treat. This may be the best card revealed so far.

     a 3/4 and a 1/1 does not equal a 4/5
    a 3/4 = 3 mana
    a 1/1 = 0 mana
    0 mana + 3 mana = 3 mana .
    a 4/5 is 4 mana .
Lol, by that logic Stand Against Darkness and Wisps of the Old Gods would be 0 mana and Muster for Battle would be 1 mana (because of the Light's Justice. FailFish

posted a message on Shadowcaster Rogue

Hi! After playing around with this deck a lot more, I found that the Shadowsteps are usually dead in hand, so I replaced them with Shadow Strikes. They seem to be a lot better especially with the spell damage in this deck, so I suggest you try them out if you haven't already.

For survival, you should try to use the Shadowcasters proactively depending on the matchups - sometimes it's better to go for the infinite combo (especially against super-control matchups like Priest) and sometimes it's a lot better to use them reactively for tempo. If you seem to run out of health too fast, try Refreshment Vendor or Cult Apothecary. I've tried both of them and they seem to be okay.

That being said, though, the deck's win rate isn't the best (considering it does have a pretty hard win condition) but if a meta with most players playing control emerges, this deck could be a good option.

A 10 mana 7/7  draw 3 spells? 10 mana War Golem + Nourish in one card? Even in the worst case, it's still insane.

How is it way better than shadow bolt? The effect is random and it can hit either face or minions, making it much more rng reliant. Even if you do get it for free, you can't consider one card superior over the other.

Even if you could consider this better than shadow bolt, you can't say that's unbalanced when, there are already cards directly better than preexisting cards. Take the new warrior card vs Drain Life. You could also consider Dark bomb much better than shadow bolt.

Not even considering the mana costs, this card seems way too inconsistent to use in constructed. You're obviously not going to play these from your hand, so you have to discard these, meaning you will need to empty your entire hand in order to control the discards, and then get a free flamecannon effect that is actually usually worse than flamecannon because it can hit the enemy hero as well. If flamecannon was able to hit face then it would be utter trash.

Not only that, but you're describing a dream scenario which is purely RNG. You would need to only have these when using soulfire and the current malygoslock does not usually have only these due to tapping similar amounts as handlock.

These are just some of the negatives that I could think of, but even if this card had a good enough effect, I don't think this card is worth a card slot.  I'd much rather fill these slots with more impact full cards that don't sit dead in your hand for half the game.

If it were 2 mana then it would be too overpowered. Flamecannon is 2 mana deal 4 damage to a random minion, and the ability to target minions only is usually better than the ability to target all characters when it's random. 3 mana maybe.
