Since your Overkill minions trigger when they are attacked because of Mass Hysteria, won't it work with this card too? If I cast BEEEES!!! on my Linecracker won't it multiply its attack by 16, since it will double with each attack?

posted a message on New Paladin Card - Call to Adventure

I think it's important to keep in mind that Call to Adventure is a spell, and therefore can't draw itself. That means you can play it on turn 3 and draw a 4-cost minion to play next turn on curve. While Witchwood Piper will draw itself, which requires you to play a second 4 mana 3/3 to tutor a high-cost minion. Also, Witchwood Piper is only effective at drawing 3-cost or lower minions (unless you are running only one copy, in which case it will hurt your consistency). Both copies of Call to Adventure can be used to draw 4+ cost, making it a better tutor for high-cost minions.

    THE INFUSER

The Infuser class is made up of spellcasters and spellswords that use magic in a unique way. That merge it with creatures or objects to create wild new results. From magic weapons to enchanted armor, they can turn the mundane into something truly magical. Of course, the path of the Infuser is one of theft. One person gains and another loses. Among the Infusers, there are two particular factions that are represented in the Basic set. The Flame-Heart faction and the Ice-Soul faction. Each faction has their own style. The Flame-Heat faction focuses on offense while the Ice-Soul faction focuses on defense.

    Keyword: Absorb

To represent the give and take relationship of an Infuser, the keyword Absorb was created. A minion that absorbs Attack will gain the Attack, while a Spell that absorbs health will be given to your hero. A card cannot absorb more than their target can give. A minion with 0 Attack cannot give any Attack.

    Example Cards

    • Shoddy Spellbook: It's like a 2-Mana draw a card with the upside of getting your next draw early.
    • Unstable Catalyst: 2-Mana +3/+3 on the turn you play, but slowly grows weaker each turn.
    • Corrupt Soul: A Shadow Bolt that bypasses Divine Shield, but is less effective against damaged minions.
    • Flame-Heart Blade: A 2/2 weapon that can become a 3/1 weapon. Strong synergy with Durability buffs.
    • Draenei Enchantress: A Strong tempo-based minion.

    The Infuser

The Infuser class is made up of potent spellcasters who manipulate the energies around them fuse it with people and objects. Some devote themselves to unlocking the full potential of Infusion magic while others take a more practical approach and combine it with other martial arts and fighting styles. There are many different factions that Infusers can choose to align with and they all have their own preferences. The two major factions that appear in the Basic set are the Flame-Heart faction and the Ice-Soul faction. The Flame-Heart faction prefers to boost their strength while simultaneously sapping away the strength of others. The Ice-Soul faction prefers to bolster their defense while weakening their opponent's. You can expect more factions, each with their own preferences in future sets.

Absorb is the unique keyword for the Infuser class. It allows a card to take the stats and/or effects of the target and make it their own. Naturally, you can't steal what something doesn't have. If the player were to drop Flame-Heart Disciple on an adorable little Snowflipper Penguin , then it will only gain 1 Attack.

Buffs and debuffs are an integral aspect of the Infuser class; something that Hearthstone has delved too much into. I want to show off all kinds of ways to use them.

    Infuser [Revised]

The Infuser class is all about sapping away the strength of the enemy while at the same time bolstering their own. They manipulate the energies around them, infusing them into others and themselves. There are two prominent factions of Infusers; the Flame-Heart and the Ice-Soul. The Flame-Heart specializes in boosting their own offensive power while hampering their opponent's. While the Ice-Soul focuses on bolstering their health while weakening their opponent's. More factions will emerge over time with new focuses.

In order to capture the flavor of stealing away the strength and vitality of other minions, I created a new keyword:

The Absorb keyword can allow a minion to steal from another card or hero. This is most commonly done by Absorbing a creatures Attack or Health. Two prime examples of the Absorb mechanic can be seen in the Classic set:

It's important to remember that you are stealing from another minion. If the minion doesn't have anything to steal then nothing can be gained. If Flame-Heart Disciple tries to Absorb 2 Attack from a Target Dummy, then he will gain 0 Attack.

Buffs and debuffs are a common tool in the Infusers arsenal. Neutering a creature's power or haphazardly boost a creatures strengths, Infusers always have a trick up their sleeves.

    The Infuser

The Infuser is all about reducing the strength of the enemy while also increasing her own strength. You can only watch helplessly as slowly whittles away your health. The Infuser class has its own unique keyword; Absorb.

Two prime examples of this keyword can be found in the Classic Set:

It is crucial to remember that you cannot absorb what isn't there. If Flame-Heart Disciple tries to absorb the attack of a feeble Target Dummy he will end up with 0 attack. If it doesn't have it, it cannot be taken.

The Infuser class is also adept in the art of killing. Utilize weapons and spells to pick off the weak is a specialty of the Infuser:

The Infuser class will sap away the strength of her foes with humiliating debuffs like the Arcane Muzzle:

Look forward to learning more about the Infusers many ways to belittle and destroy her enemies.

Sevpa is right. Casts when Drawn is a keyword that also draws a card after casting. Go play Fal'dorei Strider or Deck of Wonders and you will see that they removed the 'Draw a card' portion.

Also, if you have two or more in your deck, it wouldn't chain infinitely. When you draw it, you will take 3 damage and draw a card, then before it can shuffle two copies in, the next corrupted blood will trigger.
