I consider myself as pretty average player with plenty of misplays and so on.
This may be why your definitions of "average," "good," and "excellent" are skewed. On what statistical grounds are you basing this statement? You can't accuse others of being imprecise when your own premises are so subjective.

    Quote from Florin1335 >>

I won't, i decided not to craft it. It doesn't matter how good pirate warrior is if i don't enjoy playing it .

It would help if you mentioned why you don't like it. Simliar problems might (probably do) exist in Quest Warrior.
My advice would be to craft a Classic legendary that's used in numerous decks. Classic first because they'll never rotate out. (And if they do, you'll get your dust back.)

I assume you're sarcastically implying that everyone should dust all copies of the card. But your math is still wrong -- the 2 copies you already owned weren't free, so dusting them does not generate "free dust."

    Quote from AleMental >>

Hey, I run exactly this list, you can use it for reference, it's valiable and fun:

    Elemental Mage
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (17) Ability (12) Playable Hero (1)
    Loading Collection

I use this one, minus the Thunder Lizards and Mana Wyrms, plus 2x Igneous Elemental, plus N'Zoth, plus Flamestrike.
(I may have also cut one or both Arcane Intellect. I seem to remember having too many cards all the time. I probably used the slots for Ooze or crabs.)
I prefer to get on the board rather than play a bunch of spells early, so the Wyrms didn't make a lot of sense for me. And N'Zoth is just such good friends with Pyros, I had to have him. (Even better if you get another Pyros from the Servant.)

DO NOT dust a bunch of cards to make this deck, especially if you already have a Pirate Warrior deck. It's just not worth it.

Trade The Marsh Queen for Leeroy Jenkins. It's a much better investment.

What's the point of this simulation?

By the way mentioned 54-55% wr is not 'excellent', imho it's pretty mediocre or below average. Excellent WR is 65+, good one is 60.

In order to not have 1-2% variance in results consider increasing test runs count to 1-10kk.

     What is your problem?
The point, as he very clearly stated, was to see how many games you must play to reach Legend with a given win rate. If you're not interested, why did you click?
I'm pretty sure no one cares that your definition of "excellent" is different from his. I sure don't. But I will say that 55% is definitely not "below average." Mathematically speaking, that's about the most ignorant statement you can make.

posted a message on Which cards would you rotate to Wild's Hall of Fame?
    Quote from mini_biaggi >>

    My Top is:

Devolve (+Evlove), Polymorph, Hex - oh come on (c).

Firelands portal - seems preeetty unbalanced. It will be good if it can't go face.

Ice block - this card is a joke. Very bad joke to other classes, which don't have class heal. (don't worry little freeze mages, you have a lot powerful cards)

Jade idol - druid counters every control deck because of this shit.

Fire elemental - stats and battlecry are too good for 6 mana.

This isn't a thread about cards you hate. It's about moving cards to the Hall of Fame. Only Classic cards will ever be considered for this. Cards from expansions will eventually rotate out of Standard on their own.

As Kibler mentioned, maing the crystal core a minion with no stats is the best nerf

You mean like the Warlock Nether Portal? Exactly what the hell would that change? So the rogue can only have 30/30 worth of stats for 6 mana on the board instead of 35/35 för 7 mana?

And it cannot be prepped. For a deck that is swimming between tier 2 and 3, that's probably a fair adjustment.
Nether Portal is not a minion. It is a spell that takes up a minion slot. Its mana cost is reduced by Preparation.
If you change Crystal Core so it truly is a minion instead of a spell, it will have to have stats and be targetable -- that's just how the the game works (so far, anyway). I suppose making it a 0/30 minion that cannot be silenced would be an interesting way to nerf it.
However, I do think the "spell on the board" change should happen at the very least. I don't like the idea of permanent, global effects that have no board presence. If more are added to the game, it will become difficult to keep track of what's happening.

Nether Portal is a spell. I'm sure it could be prepped if the Warlock got his hands on Preparation.
But from a consistency perspective, I do like the idea that these permanent effects should take up a minion slot. I find it annoying when there's an ongoing global effect with no indication anywhere on the board of what's causing it. Tooltips are fine for one-time buffs and debuffs, but when it's going to change every minion that's ever played, forever, the cause needs to be present and apparent.

i only bm if i am winning and my opponent bmed first

I mean, I do say "Thank You" to Pirate Warriors who concede. Partially because they decided not to waste either person's time when I've stabilized, partially because there's a deep satisfaction in seeing them quit. It's one of the few times I give in to the dark side and BM.
That's not even close to BM. You are, after all, emoting your genuine feelings, once, at an appropriate time. That is the raison d'être for emotes, is it not?

If you think an emote qualifies as "toxic," you need professional help.

There are always so many people blatantly trolling the ratings votes that there's really no point to paying any attention to them whatsoever, either before or after the release of the expansion.

I'm not sure why you think it's Blizzard's job to cure your ladder anxiety. I will certainly agree that adding floors was a positive thing for everyone, but beyond that, I honestly think it's on you to get over your own hangups.

If you don't have the guts to play, you don't have what it takes to get to Legend.

posted a message on Wild Arena

They need to access their uncrazy side regarding draft offering rates before they worry about Wild vs Standard.

Standard Arena is a better place to figure all that out because of the smaller card set.

Once they have a firm grasp on how to offer the right mix of cards, they can expand that to a Wild format.
