posted a message on Your worst DERP move?

I had a Priest down to 1 hp, no cards. All i had to do was end turn and fatigue would have killed him. I played Excavated Evil to BM, gave him a card, he didn't die to fatigue, and he killed me next turn.

    Will never BM again.

If you really have to replace I would go Cult Master for the card draw. Even still, it's not a good replacement.

posted a message on What's the difference between a legend player and like a rank 5-10 player?
    Quote from RDIFB >>

    1. The main difference is, that Legend rank players usually play a lot more. You can't hit Legend, if you play only few games a day. There is a ton of streamers, who are usually always Legend by the end of the month, but throughout their streaming day, there will often be times, where 6 hours have passed and they've only climbed 1 or 2 ranks.
And then you also have to keep in mind that going from Rank 5 to Legend takes equally as long as it takes to go from Rank 25 to Rank 5. Probably even longer, because the competition is tougher and you don't win that many games in a row, unless you're super lucky. It's a grind, man.

    2. If you want to steadily climb and at some point reach Legend, you need to make the right calls and never do severe misplays. In my opinion Hearthstone is not about skill; it's about experience. You might use a card during one turn, where another player would have used another card. You lose that game, while he wins. You always need to keep the options of your opponent in mind and what they can do with a certain amount of mana at their disposal.
"Bad" players are usually not bad, but rather inexperienced. They'll not play around things and basically give away victories. Or they'll not trade, when they really should. Or they'll miss lethal and so on, and so on.

    3. You need to be relaxed. Hearthstone involves a lot of RNG and luck / bad luck. Sometimes your opponent will get painfully lucky and you'll lose, even though you were ahead. During such a moment you need to remain calm. Don't get mad, because at that point you start to tilt and without even realizing it, you play worse. I've talked about this before in a thread, where I explained how the more primitive part of your brain takes over, once you get mad. At that point the rational part of your brain, that is in charge of abstract thinking, problem solving and so on, gets shut off... and naturally you lose more.

This pretty much touched on all of it. Nice post.

Go play Shaman, Druid, or Warrior like everyone else.

Yes because everyone loves playing mirror matches and seeing the same decks over and over again.

Anyone else think another SW:D is better than Rend?

You might be right. 2 Lightbombs and 2 SW:D's might be overkill on big threat control. I could probably swap in a second Holy Nova instead, especially with the spell damage synergy of Azure Drake and Velen's.

Cool man. I played a bunch of Dragon Priest games last night with addition of Wyrmrest Agent and Twilight Guardian. I don't have Chillmawyet but it seems like a good fit. I just run Dr. Boom instead...lol. A few other minor differences:

    - Nefarian - Holy Nova -2 Dark Cultist

+ Mind Control + another Lightbomb +2 Shadow Word: Death

I would advise against putting a Wild Pyromancer into a deck with 5 spells and 25 minions.......

posted a message on Aviana Ramp Druid

I see this deck being way too inconsistent against aggro decks. Druids don't have the tools to run this many big minions like control warrior. I feel like you would be better off making an Aviana combo deck (with KT and/or Cenarius) but keep the rest of the deck similar to a standard ramp or taunt Druid.

Seems the same to me as last month. My only gripe is Warsong Commander needs to be nerfed. If a minions attack exceeds 3, it needs to lose it's charge effect. I don't mind losing to everybody get in here, but if i get OTK'd by one more Frothing Berserker I'm going to start reaching through computer screens and beating the living fuck out of people.

I also DE legendaries that aren't meta-worthy. So yes, I would dust Illidan and Mimiron's head. Some people are into collecting every card, so to each his own.

I DE all golden cards. You can craft a legendary with the dust plus what you already have, and circle back to craft a regular brawl if you decide you need two.

Haven't played much this month, but last night I streaked from rank 17 to rank 9 with this deck and i still haven't lost. Very nice list with a couple of changes...

-1 Haunted Creeper - Sylvanas Windrunner

+ another Ironbeak Owl + Bane of Doom

Having two Owls has been great. Knowing that I have two I almost always keep 1 in opening hand and will use it on the first thing i can that will potentially hamper my tempo.

Bane of Doom over Sylvanas or Sea Giant...I don't have a great explanation...LOL. I just think Bane of Doom is a super fun card.
