It's not a dead card if you also factor in that Circle of Healing also works with it. In effect, it's like a psuedo Auchenai Soulpriest, and works for any deck which requires another Auchenai or simply doesn't like Auchenai sticking on the board for too long.

posted a message on Priests, We need a reliable draw mechanic

I feel like the Priest class tethers on being completely broken so Blizzard tends to make us work for our advantage than have it laid on a platter for us like Mage and Pally cards. I'm not complaining at this point, since we do have some of the best card draw in the game, save for the Warlock hero power, so I'm fine as long as Priest isn't left behind.

So much hate for Shadow Word: Horror. It's pretty specific but it's a nice tool if the meta gets out of control with Divine shield or other protected minions besides using the uber-specific Blood Knight.

Forbidden Shaping is also a pretty decent card. It's only a bad card if it summons something that gimps you, and its effect is partly controllable and versatile, as long as you pay attention to the order and cost you play it on.

Herald Volazj is yet again another win-more card for Priest, but as more of WotoG is released its utility is getting more and more pronounced.

The real reason Druid runs combo is actually "because why not?". They had no reason to run or play any differently since the combo was very effective at killing your opponent. Without the combo Druids can actually be creative for once, as long as Blizzard gives them the tools.

Wut? Both of those cards are often used in both Renolock and Handlock. Is this sarcasm?

Warriors don't usually flood the board, unless it's a Patron deck, so I kinda see where he's coming from.

Your experiences may not be the same as everyone else. Also from your post I'm assuming you barely ever got matched against Druid.

Poisoned Blade probably could've worked if Blade Flurry removed 1 durability and 2 weapon buffs after activation than completely destroying the thing.

Who knows? I know I'm willing to create a deck around it and see if it'll work. With that said, I believe the weapon is worth a lot more against the face. Maybe just put in a lot of removal, weapon buffs and Elise Starseeker, and then whittle away your opponent's health. I dunno how effective it'll be against Priest though.

Putting this card n your deck probably means you're gonna be giving up a minion. Seems like it was designed particularly for Reno decks.

Looks like something you'd play in a Dragon deck which uses Inner Fire and Confuse. Let's hope the dragon's mind isn't changed by Cabal Shadow Priest in a mirror match.

posted a message on Most Underrated Cards

I feel due to there being a lot less people who experiment with Rogue, these three cards often doesn't get the time of day.

Shado-Pan Rider is a phenomenal turn 5 after Tomb Pillager and dodges Big Game Hunter. It might not do anything by itself but it's a big minion that often must be dealt with.

Pit Snake is already a pretty good turn 1 play, and forces your opponent to spend his turn using his hero power, if it can be used to remove it. Often they'll prefer to bait the snake with a lesser minion but Rogue already has removals to keep stalling their turn as much as possible, keeping the snake alive and forcing them to deal with it in some way.

The same can be said for Patient Assassin but it's even better since it can't be pinged and the only way they can deal with it is through, baiting, a random removal or an Area of Effect ability. Overall it forces them to make subpar tempo plays and keeps it within your favour until dealt with.

I've been using all three of these cards in my mid-range Rogue deck, and besides the element of surprise it has pushed me up to rank 11 from rank 18 since I've returned to the ladder.

I agree. The synergy with this card and Unleash the Hounds is super amazing, and I am looking forward to seeing the RNG surrounding this card. We're losing Webspinner but gaining 7 Webspinners "potentially".

I'm so looking forward to this set... ESPECIALLY the Forbidden cards. Even if the Meta says the "Forbidden Cards are bad". Personally I've never really followed the meta to a T and prefer going outside the box.

I'm really curious about the forbidden cards. I assumed, since this set only has a few more cards than TGT, that each class would be getting 2 epics, and based on the three revealed forbidden cards, that one of them would be a forbidden card. But Warlocks have their two epics already revealed, DOOM! and Renounce Darkness. So will there be rare forbidden cards? Maybe, but maybe not every class gets one, is what I'm thinking.
Not every class will be getting a forbidden card. Warlock's DOOM! is already kind of like their own forbidden card.
