Overall I think it is a good enough card, not surprised at the low stats since Blizzard still probably has Miracoli PTSD. That being said, I am a little scared that Rogue might be really bad next expansion. I think a lot of her strength recently has been how she can efficiently clear the little aggro crap everyone is playing and easily draw her finisher, but if the meta slows down cards like these might not help her adjust. Who knows though, maybe Anub'arak and Assassinate finally get their time in the control rogue sun.
Sap is still a very effective card against control matchups, and while no one currently uses it, Pit Snake is very much a good card for stalling your opponent. After all Rogue's entire playstyle is tempo-based. Rogue just isn't popular enough for anyone to build different and effective decks for her, and unless it's an OTK or a burst deck, very few give her the time of day.
Interesting question. Another question would be whether C'thun can be buffed by his cultists even when he's on the board. Since the card text says "your C'thun" and "where-ever he is" then I'm gonna guess he gets a one-time buff regardless of where he's at, but if he's returned to your hand, or revived, the buffs are lost and his stats are reset.
Mostly speculation. Liquidhearth has an article about Monk visiting Blizzard, and they talked about looking to weaken silence, specifically Keeper of the Grove.
I like how they're planning to significantly nerf the only class who can do just fine with Vanilla+Classic cards so that players will be forced to keep buying their expansions with every rotation, all for shitty cards like these.
Isn't this a good thing? Would you rather a class that never changes at all, because that's how Druid has been for a long time. It's also the reason why Blizzard prints crappy cards for the class in their expansions. If they nerf Druid cards into the "playable" category and not the "auto-include" category, then it would be better for Druid players and every other class in the long run.
Is 1 mana deduction really justifyable when it is pretty much a situationally worse Faceless Manip?
You need to have a bulky minion maintain a good amount of stats for at least one turn for this to be used. Granted, taking stats from something like a Twilight Drake and adding taunt on top of that is value, but still.
In my opinion, a good stat value for this minion would be about 4/6 (1/1 above Tazdingo). So you need to ask yourself how often you'll be able to achieve that, and how often it'd be better to play this over manip. (E.g. if you're planning to combo this with Ysera, you may as well have a Faceless Manipulator)
Personally, if I were to run a 4 mana taunt, I'd just run Taz. Simply because it's more reliable.
Taunt Warrior material. I can also see this being used in a Priest deck. After all besides Druids they often have minions with high health. Turn 3 Injured Blademaster + Circle of Healing combo, turn 4 Faceless Shambler.
Patron usually requires setup, so this won't be put on the board until it can be combo'd. So it's a pretty viable card for patron. It makes it a lot easier for other classes to have piece of the pie as well.

I never said anything about viability. I'm mentioning fatigue because shadowstep is important for them and it might get nerfed.

Shadowstep seems likely to be nerfed. Deathlord might be gone but if Hearthstone is gonna get slower fatigue will get a lot stronger.

You all should get to do all the others. This is perfection.

Only one more remains, and that's the rock lady, Therazane. She'll probably end up in Hearthstone sooner or later.

He can be used as a soft taunt on turn 5 against aggro. It doesn't necessarily needs to be played when you can pull off a combo.

The Rogue minion sounds like poor design as well as poor theorycrafting. At least the Priest one is believable.

If Alexstrasza has to be nerfed, the card effect is likely going to change. It's one of those cards where stat changes doesn't affect it as much.
