People are so short-sighted... How do somebody like "UUGH, THIS MECHANIC WAS IN HS BEFORE, RISEOFREPRINTSSS" think a card game works? There is much much less space for designers to move in, possibilities aren't endless. If they just threw everything they had in their sleeves right now, community would be amazed but later on cards would really be reprinted due to lack of new ideas. Balance, fellas, is the thing that keeps together every year, in each of them some new and some old mechanics. I hope people will finally get that.
Right? Like How many versions of Llanowar Elves do you own XD
That's what I was thinking, only way to actually evade this damage is by using Violet Illusionist, which isn't through targeting as stated in the challenge restrictions and isn't in my deck.
Restriction: Use only cards that feature a book in their art.
EDIT: Use at least 15 cards that feature a book in their art. (I was going through my collection and realized that there is much less books in HS than I thought lmao)
My experience with eureka in a Malygos deck is that its too risky / clunky, and believe me, I've tried thousands of versions to make it work. The best way to use eureka I find is to have a few expensive, non-battlecries minions in hand like Kel'Thuzad or Charged Devilsaur or Ragnaros the Firelord
There's only four dragons to proc' the synergies in this deck.
To be honest, the current standard card pool is pretty trash dragon-wise, and there's only 3 neutral dragons coming out with RR and they are pretty boring.
Why? Cuz there's no RNG in this one? Just pure good ol' fashioned CCG ? What's decreasing in quality is the reveal stream, god it gets more boring every time
You really should take your salt elsewhere, like the huge forum thread dedicated for expressing salt, for example.
His statement is not wrong. There is absolutely no minion from the neutral set this expansion that stands out and makes you say: woooow that looks cool, im gonna build a deck around it. They're all like: eh, thats kinda funny, I guess. There's no spiteful summoner, or corridor creeper or anything that stands out really. And also, what the f *** kinda thinking is that? If someone in your family is fuckin shit up, you won't tell them because they are entitled to doing whatever they want? I think not.

I would say scrolls are allowed, they are basically books without hard cover imo

I used a class-card-only variation of Jade Druid.

So if I understand the rules correctly, it is now my turn to post a challenge, so, here it is;
Hit the books!
Class: Any
Format: Any
Restriction: Use only cards that feature a book in their art.
EDIT: I should've refreshed the web-page before posting XD Someone beat me to it, is my challenge disqualified?

No techs? Have you ever heard of Dirty Rat or Deathlord? Void Contract - although this one is kinda stupid if you are playing control -

Well RR will hit tomorrow, and it has the least amount of RNG Hearthstone has seen in a long time

I would convert this to the wild format with cards like Netherspite Historian, Azure Drake, Twilight Guardian, Volcanic Drake and maybe a Nefarian alongside Open the Waygate for some memery.
