0/10 no bogus hunter traps listed (snipe, explosive trap) or humility or hunter's mark which are both really cheap ways to totally devalue your opponent's monster, or naturalize who's downside can be totally mitigated easily. Nothing up there is particularly bad.
1. Malygos seems too slow in this aggressive meta to be considered a problem
2. I can't really say anything about Tirion for the simple fact I mainly play Mage/Druid/Shaman. All of these classes can render him absolutely worthless pretty cheaply. Even still I rarely see him.
3. While a 7/7 for 4+2 is kinda busted in some cases, i rarely see it played. Probably because it totally ruins your turn 5 so if it dies you're kinda screwed.
4. what's wrong with purify?
5. Barnes is usually in decks built to get value from his battle cry. It's manipulation of RNG. I have him in a evolve Shaman deck I'm working on (purely for quests) and its set up to pretty much always give me something that I can make valuable or get value from. I also have him in a N'Zoth priest deck for the same reason. You can't put him in any deck and get value. For most cards a 1/1 copy is utter garbage and basically amounts to a 4/5 for 4.
C'Thun decks are annoying only because they all run almost exactly the same cards, not because they're good. There's practically no difference outside of the class specific ones. I made a C'Thun mage deck but it was pretty much just tempo mage with C'Thun and 4 buff cards for him. It was funny because in the 20 or so games with it I played C'Thun maybe once. The others I usually won by turn 7-9 or lost. I think my win rate was 14-6 give or take. I mostly hover around rank 15 though since I'm not a hardcore player, but I'm sure there isn't many C'Thun users at the higher ranks, the decks just seem way too specific and dependant on drawing him.
I considered that. Barnes in a deck with Ragnaros and Y'Shaarj. The odds of getting him are kinda low though, unless you run very few minions. I dusted my Renounce Darkness cards because it seemed like a dumb mechanic lol. does it actually work well?
So at first glace he seems like a good card, then you realize how aggressive the meta has become so it brings his viability into question. Has anyone had any success with a Y,Shaarj deck? I've had him for a while but today I pulled a gold one and I'm just thinking i should put it to good use rather than letting it sit without a deck like my gold Rhonin, and Gold Ragnaros...
2 cents. Zoo is still a dominant deck and will live on Hearthstone as a contender in wither wild or standard due to its fast speed and warlock's immense card draw engine.
I get that it's strong and consistent, it's just kinda boring, otherwise I would have just made it since it's pretty cheap and I've got 4400 dust banked up. I like my Tempo Mage and Beast Druid decks since there's a lot of strategy in them. I'm more interested in working on something new. Thanks for the input though.
I've got both but hadn't considered them before, especially Fearsome Doomguard wince it's a 6/8 for 7 with no effect. As for Void terror I was looking at it as more of a forced removal. Like if you had a couple monsters your opponent could remove with little consequence, like taking out a 2/2 with a 5/5. Drop a PO on the 2/2 to kill the 5/5 and since it's gonna die anyway just eat it with VT and now you've got a big minion your opponent has to deal with. Maybe this is not a good idea though. I'm not super good at the game, still figuring out better card strategies.
A warlock deck is something I've been meaning to put together ever since I got Jaraxxus as my first legendary, but i've never been able to find something I liked. When I'm looking over Warlock decks it's all Zoolock variants of some sort, and I really find that deck type to be rather boring. I wanted to do something a little different centered around demons but there's a few I'm missing and I'd like to get thoughts on them before I spend the dust.
Pit Lord So with the addition of Violet Illusionist, which already works well with Flame Imp and Life Tap, this card on paper seems like less of a hazard, but it costs 400 dust to make so I'd have to drop 800 for 2. Is it worth it?
Dreadsteed Weak card with a cool deathrattle. Obvious synergy with Sacrificial Pact and other demon related stuff but does that justify 800 dust?
Void Terror I actually have this card but I'm curious as to how it interacts with Power Overwhelming. If you used PO on a monster and then destroy it with Void Terror do you gain the +4/4 from it? Or is it just the base attack and HP that you get. I've never seen anyone actually use a one before let alone combine it with PO so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.
Long story short I mostly play tempo mage and lately beast druid. I have an overload shaman deck that i threw together that does okay but it's kinda boring to play. So that's it, 3 classes. It gets kinda hard to do the daily quests because they're usually one of the other classes. I've got 4300ish dust to work with. I have all of the adventures. Notable legendaries outside of my 3 main classes are as follows:
Edwin VanCleef Cho'gall Lord Jaraxxus
Bloodmage Thalnos Cairne Bloodhoof Justicar Trueheart Sylvanas Windrunner Chillmaw Ragnaros The Firelord (gold <3) Alexstraza Malygos Onyxia Ysera Deathwing, Dragonlord All 4 Old Gods
Deck building has been tough with how aggro the meta is, especially at the lower ranks. It's hard to make a well thought out deck when most everyone just vomits minions on the board. As far as Warrior and Paladin and Hunter I have very little in the way of good cards, the card pack gods have shunned me with those classes. The others I'm mostly missing legendaries and a couple epics. I mostly seem to get warlock, hunter, and paladin quests. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
After playing it a bit it's really working out. I swapped out -1 Mounted Raptor for +1Mulch and -1 Living Roots for +1 Ancient of War and -1 Power of the Wild for +1 Raven Idol. Mounted Raptor for whatever reason almost never gets pulled so that's why I switched one out. I almost never find myself needing living roots either to I dropped one of those. I might drop Raven Idol for a second PoW or a second SR, not sure, but I find myself never using it. Mulch has outright won me 4 games now by either removing a taunt or killing a main minion the opponent needed.
I had some druid quests pop up and decided to make a deck. I've had several failed attempts that were supposedly good decks but really didn't pan out (6-7 losses in a row, bad losses too). I made this one and lost 2 games in a row (a Zoo hunter destroyed me and a C'Thun Mage in which I was 1 point away from killing) but then I won 3 games in a row pretty spectacularly (C'Thun Druid, priest, and mage). I'd like to play it more to get used to it. I main tempo mage so it's a different play style for sure. The thing that seems to be missing from this deck, to me, is some sort of removal like Mulch or Naturalize to deal with larger taunts but for the life of me I can't decide what to cut for them. Any tips?

Thanks very much, I've been meaning to make a warrior deck for quests.

Any recommendations for a substitute for Malkorok? I don't have any of the warrior legendaries.

Hmm didn't think to add an AoW, might be a good idea. How has raven idle worked out for you?

I did not even think about that...
