I think I've heard that Tirion Fordring is arguably the most powerful card in the game. If I want to be successful as a paladin, is it essential to build him? I love playing control paladin, but I have not really tried climbing ranked with it yet haha. I think I'll be crafting him next; I'm assuming that he makes a control paladin a hundred times better. I just feel like I'll auto-lose if I'm ever up against a mage or shaman who can just poly/hex him hah =(.

He's great! I mean, have you heard his themesong? No but really, he is one of the better class legendaries. The only problem is that he is very vulnerable to Silence/Sap/Hex/Polymorph. If you do decide to play him, make sure you try to lure ut those first!
He's great, definitely a must have for Pally players. As Snurdburgler said tho, he can be dealt with pretty easy if you don't bait out removal first.. Add The Black Knight to that list of weaknesses since he is a taunt minion.
Silence isn't the worst thing. You still have a 6/6, and they had to spend that silence. If you have other silence worthy targets in the deck, you can bait out the silences too. Hex and Polymorph are the real killers. All other removal still gives you some decent value with the Ashbringer. There's always aggro Paladin, like Shockadin, but if you're planning to go control, Tirion is almost necessary. Certainly, nothing can replace him.
Agree that he's the best minion in the game. He won't make your deck a hundred times better considering that he's the number one target for silence/removal for your opponent. However, having him in your deck does help quite a bit and he's 100% recommended for Pally control.

Oh! i forgot about The Black Knight! Also wanna say, running him is right now might not be the best idea, seeing as I personally meet a lot of Rogue and Warlock Zoo. High mana-cost cards Such as Tirion Fordring might just clog up your hand in aggro matchups where you'd rather have something else. It's a great minion, but play him with caution.
IMO best class hero probably belongs to Grommash Hellscream due to having charge and immediate impact before opponent can remove. IMO but Tirion Fordring is definitely up there. He was one of the first legendaries I opened and I tried to make decks around him but I was too new to the game understand how to make control paladin work.
Shaman legendary has charge too, as well as putting up 12 damage on drop if you saved up a rockbiter.
True! Don't have that one but been on the receiving end of that combo enough times for it to be seared into my brain. Those definitely seem like the top 3 to me.
I always have fun with Prophet Velen haha. He has saved me a lot more than he has ruined me, I'm not sure why he is considered so weak. If he can survive a turn, that Holy Fire is just amazing.
But yeah, I think top 3 class legendaries would be Tirion, Grommash (I hate him as a finisher against me haha), and Al'Akir (even though I don't seem to play against him very often).

Haha, agree. FUN cards are a whole different story. Priests have tons of FUN cards, unfortunately that doesn't translate into many wins (at least for me) except for the most skilled players. Speaking of fun Lorewalker Cho
Riosix, that's a bad link there, it's "Rivendare" (just because it's very useful that you mentioned it), I just looked it up, and yeah, probably two equips after each other :) Thank you!
Actually, if Tyrion dies and the Baron is out you duel wield Ashbringers. If Lorewalker Cho is on the board he goes on a 12 minute rant about how impossible this is and than crashes the server.

Definately an awesome card!
I wonder how Tirions Deathrattle will work with Baron Rivendare...problably equip, then equip again destroying the first one I'm guessing
Good catch, thanks :) edited
Almost certainly - but if there ever ends up being a card that charges up when a weapon is destroyed...
