Thanks for answers, I chose Green/Purple for now and trying different decks, Green/Blue and Green/Red should be also interesting. I checked reddit and some wikis, but sadly as the game is pretty new, probably there are simply not enough learning materials yet. And yes, as the game will grow, should be Curse site for it. As I see now this game is more promising then HS, where instead of tournament mode we can only receive silverplate golems, disco themes and gnolls with tentacles.
Sorry for late response but it took me a while to win arena again and make a sshot. I don't have "global" stats for arena but so far even if i could win arena every time i wouldn't be able to go infinite arena. In HS you don't event have to win arena to play arena forever.
Card rewards doesn't really matter if you plan to play arena most of the time.
That is the solo arena though. In the versus arena you would only need 7 wins (and I expect that the number of possible wins will be increased in the future)
So if the player get everything so fast and almost for free, how does the company make money?=/
Just curious,...signed for the Beta and hope to get a key!
You are not getting anything fast or for free, just faster than on Hearthstone. Like in every f2p game you either need to invest money or time, so nothing is free, but you will get your stuff faster than in hearthstone if you use the arena to grind out packs. If you are looking for a complete collection you will still need to invest a ton of time.
You can just sign up for the game, it is now in open beta and you can join instantly.
tried it, found it kinda fun at first, then i fought an aggro deck, and god in that game they are super unstoppable because of the lane mechanic if you try to defend one lane your opponent will just go face in other 2 lanes and run you down by turn 3..and i thought aggro in hearthstone was broken.....
As @dooneslack said, if your cards are more mid-game oriented your minions will have more powerful effects and stats and you will overruen them. Zoo can be viable (Maybe Yellow+Purple), but late game cards really to have powerful effects that can handle a bunch of small guys ;)
After playing for a day, I'm really impressed. Only thing what is bad - there are not so many cards atm, I hope they will release more. I got 2/3 of commons for a day, in HS obtaining cards is way slower (and more cards even in Classic set). Or they will wipe collections after beta, don't know.
Playing Red/Blue deck now with charge combo finishers, very funny. Even played Ranked a little. Great game to spend time before Karazhan, and even after if nothing gonna change is HS.
Heh, looking at this thread I think I'm gonna give this game a try.
At least, it has the name and it looks like it has the potential to be a competitor of Hearthstone and it can't be a bad thing for Hearthstone to have a competitor.
So far I've played the game about 3 hours and I've come up with a list of the positive and negatives from my point of few.
POSITIVES: Are you wanting more in depth and complex gameplay while sticking to the hearthstone feel? Then this is your game for sure. Hearthstone is in my top 5 card games but it lacks depth and complexity and we all know it.
2. Less RNG. Simple as that. No cards that really say "roll the dice to see if you win."
3. Less child like. The art and story and characters are "adult" like. No dancing orcs and other things like it.
NEGATIVES: The UI is a bit more complex, and can be pretty confusing at first.
2. The game board is fairly boring compared to hearthstone. Boring may be the wrong word, I'd use bland to describe the board.
As a money sink card games can be expensive so I'm moving to this game. Hearthstone has and forever will be an aggro play the best curve minion and win. I've put about $1,000 dollars into this game, so quitting is not a light decision, but why keep playing if I''m not having fun? Peace out Hearthpwn!! I hope Karazhan is fun!

"I realized life is this crazy, mystical thing, and sometimes you just go out like a buster."
Likewise. I'm having a blast with this game and didn't even feel like touching Hearthstone (other than daily quests) for a while now.
No RNG and less aggro alone makes me want to keep playing. Your skill and decks actually matter here.
Regarding board, yeah, it's not interactive or flashy like Hearthstone, but I can see bunch of new additions when full game is rolled out.

Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
The board is important, as it's the thing you will be looking at most of the time. But it's blandness is over compensated with the design and game play of this game. Haven't had this much fun with a card game in a long time. Also a developer has said that a wipe is not planned. So all cards you collect and buy will be here to stay even after the beta is over.
I would like to try It. When it will be launched for android?
Not sure, but they already have working versions for ios and android. The developer answered a question about the apps a few days ago and they said that they have already working version that they use, so I guess they just need to fix some bugs and UI problems, but it shouldn`t take too long before you can play it on mobile
@figjam it does have a little bit of RNG - mostly on effects as "If the top card of your deck is... do..." - but I am getting more and more fond on TESL, not only by the universe (I played a lot of Skyrim, watched a bunch of Oblivion and learned a lot about the TES universe on wikis), but by the games mechanic itself :)

There are 412 cards in the game so more than Basic and Classic set in Hearthstone combined (378), no more wipes and don't forget that collection stats are just one offs, and you need 3 of every common, rare, epic.
My personal experience, just hitted Legend rank yesterday and tbh i never had a blast in hearthstone like this 2 weeks in TES: Legends. Like i hitted legend in hs 5 or 6 times during 2,5 years of playing but not even once it was so much fun, that says a lot to me and i don't even have half of the cards that i want to try in my decks. I will still play HS because my collection is so big and i spend quite a good money into this game, but it will be much more casual and in near weeks probably just dailies because if they didn't fuck up Legends it's going to be glorious CCG. Ppl are roaring that it's HS clone. So what if it's better? Overwatch is basically Team Fortress skin, yet a lot of QoL changes and marketing made it one of the biggest games in industry.
About bland board, not sure if they plan to create any interactive things like hearthstone, but there is this thing with collectible backgrounds for your scroll, it should be equivalent of HS cardbacks i guess.

Oh, if it's 1-of it explains my impression. Actually I think they should change it to 3-of.
Their ranked system also is not that clear for me. It has some unlosable ranks or how does it work? I'm at rank 9 atm, it smth like rank 18 in HS probably. But to reach Legend should be nice challenge.
Everything I am expecting now is a nice forum is Hearthpwn for the TESL community, Bethesda forum and reddit aren't really good :c

aggro is much less of a problem in legends, you just need to play some more and learn to counter it. it's basically nonexistent at higher ranks.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.

Touranment final about to air!
It is very tiresome to be forced to play warrior or zoo to stand a chance against shamans, so perhaps this game is actually better...
