I like Wild because I miss the old cards every now and then, but then the old decks change because of the new cards. It's like an almost throwback and my reason hasn't changed. Now I wonder why other people still play in Wild and why? :)
I think it's fun because it makes deck construction more interesting. And since the competitive stakes are lower, you see more varied decks from your opponents.
Of course, I also play wacky slow decks there at very low rank. Could be that those who are serious about Wild (Is that an oxymoron at this point?) have different views.
At lower ranks, at least, you tend to see more variety of decks and a lot less of the aggro that plagues standard. I also tend to run decks that don't really work in standard (Hobgoblin, Murloc, higher powered Deathrattle, etc.) which of course I can only run in wild. It's nice also to be able to use all the cards I've been collecting since beta.
I curious why people choose to play the Wild format over the more popular, more widely accepted Standard format. I enjoy the stories behind anything, even the little things. :)
i play casual wild and low ranked wild a lot because it allows me to play dumb and crazy experiment, like cho'gall+ Imp-losion and a wild beast druid plus i get to see people experimenting and playing such decks, sure you find the secret Pala/ N'zoth Secret Pala at the beggining of the season but asides form that you don't get to see too much of the same stuff all the time which is a problem that heavily plagues standard (i played standard for 2 hours today and 90% of my matches were face shammans the remaining were zoolock and only one warrior) .

So do you play in Wild, or if not - why?
I can play with my entire collection of cards.
Priest is much more competitive.
There is a wider variety of decks (until you get close to Legend, anyway).
The people are nicer. Seriously, there's a lot less BM in WIld, and I've picked up a couple of great new in-game friends recently.

+1 Every class has a viable build (maybe except druid, but n'zoth raptor rogue is extremely powerful) and the mechanics from gvg & naxx were too amazing to simply throw away.

For people with a creative intelligence Wild is fun because it sparks creativity and gives a sense of well being when hitting Legend with your own deck instead of just netdecking which the Standard format invokes.
This is why I've had so much fun in Wild. In standard you could identify every deck from ranks 10 to 1 by turn 3 or 4 you were playing against, and knew if you could counter it or not. In Wild, players never really know exactly what they are playing against, it could be an archetype, but with enough variety that you cant play the typical counter. There are so many more creative plays and risks on both sides of the board that you just don't see in standard, nor will you. Standard is so full of netdecking, the creativity is lost.
Wild has more deck archeptypes for all classes, and some classes that suck in Standard are good in Wild (mainly Priest). N'Zoth is just better in Wild, all cards are usable, there are a million reasons why Wild is better than Standard.

Right, because you cannot netdeck in Wild...
You dont see anywhere near the netdecking in Wild.
I think people want to play standard rather than wild because it is something new and fresh also the rotated sets are almost in every deck and people wanted something new.
Also the cards from naxx are power creep and gvg is rng fiesta so most of the people glad they are rotated out.
But I think the main problem is netdecking. There is little to no support for wild and this brings a lot less netdecking. I'm even seeing some old netdecks without Dr.7 and with different cards and variety.
Also opinions will change a lot after the next rotation hits with the BRM, TG and LoE rotates out. People will want to play reno, dragon or elise decks.

After next rotation I probably moves to Wild, I cannot stand in a meta only hunters are strong and all others classes become a joke for them, unless CotW finally receives the most deserved nerf in HS history.
Because playing standard means that i just accept the fact that blizzard took a couple hundred bucks i invested in their game, and threw it in the trash. Please sir, take some more of my stuff as punishment for YOUR inability to balance the game.

Uh, could you please rephrase that? I don't have my Universal Translator handy.

I'd play wild, but I'm missing something like 90% of Goblin's Vs Gnomes, soooo I'm at a little disadvantage. Shame really.
Much more deck variety, which leads to much more thought in games, and therefore more interesting games. Also, games tend to be longer.

You could always craft them if you really crave them, if you don't, you shouldn't mind missing so many GvG cards.

Mark my words. :D
Playing warrior is all about Armor Up! or Tank Up! then Do Nothing.
when I play wild, small rainbow coloured unicorn-ponies flying around my head and I really like that.
thats my main reason.
end of story.
