This depends on whether Warsong Commander would cost 2 or 3. If 2, I'd try building a charge-concept face warrior, probably with weapons and boosters. If it'll cost 3, I'd refrain from playing warrior until more cards.
Best thing that's happened to this game in a long time!! Delighted.
If one card nerf actually ruins the game for you, then you were probably not very good or adaptable to begin with. Buh bye one trick pony deck, don't let the door hit ya ...

That surely tells something about the game, if deleting the most skill intensive deck was the best thing in a long time
I remember when i was playing miracle and it got nerfed....the throne was taken by Undertaker decks, now the same thing will happen but with secret paladin
So yeah, best thing in a long time for sure
Do people seriously think that playing Patron properly requires being Rain Man?
I was laddering last seasons with Patron and ComboDruid. So I'm going to continue play Druid if it will works well in upcoming meta. May be add some Hunter deck in my pool (Face or Midrange, we'll see depending on meta). Want to try Freeze Mage, but it's dust cost is simply too high for me.

And who said that ? It was the most skill intensive deck in THIS specific game..and that's an uncontested opionions from people actually playing it as their job, not some random rank 10...or if you can tell me which other deck you belive is harder, just enlight me
The skill floor to play Patron (and succeed with it) is much lower than most other decks is what he is trying to say.
Yes, to play Patron Warrior in Rank 5-Legend DOES require skill because 1) People teched for it, 2) People learned how to try and counter it. So playing it at rank 5 or above did require a modicum of skill to continue to gain ranks.
That being said, when you talk about ladder you can't cherry pick your argument or basis from a subsect of ranks for it. The ENTIRE ladder (rank 20-Legend) had players of various skill playing it.
It has an extremely low skill floor, it's easy to pickup and learn the basics of the combos quite easily. Players who made mistakes with the deck would frequently still win because of the power of the deck (i.e. the combination of cards was more potent then the pilot playing them).

Guys...are you even reading the posts ?...once again, where did i wrote that just a subsect of ranks matter ?
I'm one of those Patron player who absolutely thinks it had to be nerfed since i had a filthy winrate, that said :
- The winrate for people playing it at rank >5 was lower than 45% (that's what Ben Brode himself said according to server's data)
- And "The skill floor to play Patron (and succeed with it) is much lower than most other decks is what he is trying to say."
Then just tell me which other deck is harder to play....and please, don't even mention oil rogue, because i know for sure it's not harder
To play it perfectly, sure. But Patron deck is quite a bit more forgiving than Oil Rogue.
I used partially Patron Warrior recently. The deck was strong, no need to compromit myself here.
However, I've never felt like I relied on any particular deck to win. I'm just in a safe spot with Handlock where it won't be nerfed, it's still strong after all this time.
Patron Warrior will simply disappear. If you wanted to play the more winnable deck out there, you would just move to Secret Paladin I guess... or Midrange Druid...
The warsong nerf does nerf handlock though because you lose your best match up and thus lower your winrate. Sure its as indirect of a nerf as you can possibly get but its a little silly not to see the ramifications of the nerf when itremoves your best matchup.
It's definitely not the best matchup. It's a good one, for sure, but definitely not the best.
Well my two favourite decks were Patron Warrior and Handlock, so I'll be playing more Handlock.
And I'll have to return to rerolling any Warrior quest, since we're back to the days of the only good Warrior deck being the Control Warrior with 10,000 dust worth of legendaries that I don't have.

going back to my trusty control warrior.
Probably face hunter or freeze mage to counter all the paladins...

My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.

SOmething that counters paladin and hunter at the same time.
