Warsong just give charge to 3 atk minions, so if you play Frothing Berserker and buff his atk to lets say 5, he will lose the charge, since he doesnt have 3 atk anymore.
This has been suggested numerous times, and it's not any "easier" a fix than all of the other "easy" fixes folks commonly suggest. Worse though, it arguably doesn't even address the biggest problems with Patron warrior, turning Warsong Commander into the scapegoat undeservedly and leaving the bigger fish untouched to continue causing problems in the future. Granted though, at least it's not as bad as the folks trying to scapegoat Frothing Berserker.

Out of curiosity Asylum what do you feel is the "bigger fish"? Personally I think it's their card draw. If and when I can deny their card draw I win against patron every time. It's the single best way to defeat patron in my opinion. And like Miracle before it, draw is the reason why the deck is so powerful.
That's good and like people have said here before too...make the Frothing Berserker only get the attack buff from friendly minions only. It will help out a little, and should stop those 25 attack buffs a bit
They just need to put quotas for nearly every stackable effect. Global fix, global happyness but it will put an end to insolite challenge like "how high a froating berserker's attack can get ?".

Honestly? I think the biggest problem is Emperor Thaurissan. Patron Warrior isn't something that needs to go away entirely because big combos can be cool and fun and good for the game, but it's Emperor that sends it over the top imo. People often ignore this because Emperor isn't literally the thing smashing them in the face when they die, but if nothing is done about Emperor then we're going to keep seeing big combo decks just like Patron Warrior continue to pop us as problematic.
Alternatively if you really only care about the things directly smashing you in the face though, Grim Patron itself could use a Health nerf. The most annoying thing about Grim Patron is that once the opponent has a ton of them out there's almost nothing you can do about it because everything that doesn't kill them outright is only going to exacerbate the problem. Bringing Patron down to 2 health brings it into the range of the standard class AoE spells, which I think would do a lot to help.
Don't target poor Warsong Commander and Frothing Berserker though. Those cards are not to blame just because they finally found a deck they're not terrible in.
looks like it would be a great addition to zoo except it has the same effect as Imp-losion. I could see how it could be useful for 2 mana, but id much rather deal damage to my enemy than my hero, epically when hero power and Flame Imp deal damage to me as well.
Blizzard dont know the difference between nerfing and making a card useless they failed everytime except on leeroy. Making Buzzard a 3/2 for 5 mana was legit bullshit.

I'm guessing he is just referring to the nerfs post-beta. All of those cards were nerfed while still in beta if I remember correctly.
There have been a total of 8 nerfs post-release. Of those, two cards are still staples (Unleash the Hounds and Eaglehorn Bow) while others occasionally see play and have mostly fallen out of the meta because there are no decks to accommodate them (Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Soulfire, Leeroy Jenkins).
Actually, the only card that was ever nerfed to the ground was the aforementioned Starving Buzzard.

I don't completely disagree with you, I was just pointing out that you were referencing a bunch of nerfs that happened before the game was even released. I will say that 2/8 is still a pretty bad number in my opinion, but I guess an overnerf is still slightly better than an undernerf.
There is no need to Nerf Patron. Back in Curse of Naxx, the reason they nerfed Leeroy was because they weren't sure if they'll be able to make more packs, if people would keep buying packs and adventures, if Miracle Rouge was on top. Since they know now that Patron Warrior IS NOT ON TOP, and CAN BE EASILY BEATEN BY MANY DECKS OUT THERE, they're not going to nerf it. They know now that people will buy packs even if they don't nerf it.
The only reason they want to nerf something is so they won't ban it, and Patron Warrior is almost always a win for me.

The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.
The one thing that just bugs me, is that Ben Brode (or any dev from Hearthstone) hasn't told us yet why Rogue's OTK was not fine back in the days of Miracle, yet Warrior's is now in the age of Thaurissan, which practically allows the damn thing.

Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
A lot of people would probably tell you that Frothing Berserker is better because it is a class card, but I'm with you on this one, because Flesheating Ghoul is just a piece of crap than no one uses while the berserker is insane. But, it seems that Blizzard is against buffs now, so...
The deck is ok, its deck just work with the right cards in hand, dont complain about being OP when the combo need like 5 cards for do full damage with bersekers plus a tharissan in a turn before, in YuGiOh TCG there are a combo Called Exodia when you draw the 5 cards you won the duel this work in the same way so stop crying childs.

Same with Patrons buffed with Inner Rage.
good idea.. however it's been mentioned several times already

Yeah we have heard that idea 1000 times already, and it is still just as stupid as the first time we heard it.
Yes no one would hate patron warrior if that nerf was done, because it would not exist anymore. Why not just delete the card instead?

I mean, if they do that, at least raise the cap to 4 attack to make sure Raging Worgen still gets it.

Eaglehorn Bow, Unleash the Hounds, Warsong Commander, Defender of Argus, Sylvanas Windrunner, Blizzard, Frost Nova, Cone of Cold, Pyroblast and Mind Control disagree with you.
By the way, these are cards that were nerfed since I started playing, there may be more examples in earlier patches.

For those saying Patron doesn't need a nerf

If Frothing Berserker isn't overpowered, then I DEMAND a Flesheating Ghoul buff.
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."
