It's because of BGH. That card is ridiculous, the tempo swing you gain from it plus the fact that a druid having just ONE minion on the board is extremely dangerous due to their FoN savage roar combo.
Honestly, I think BGH is just really imbalanced and anti-fun. Until it gets fixed I suppose the best way to play any control decks that involve throwing out large minions lategame is to use non-BGH able targets like Kel-Thuzad, Sneeds etc.
It's really ridiculous how I spend my entire turn 9 dropping alexstrasza in an attempt to gain some form of board control only for the druid to BGH it then drop a druid of the claw.. and guess what, if I have no shield slams or weapons next turn I'm dead because ROFL SAVAGE ROAR FON BALANCED COMBO.
If Blizzard wants to meta to slow down that BGH crap seriously needs to f**king GO. Otherwise might as well just play Grim Patron or hyperaggro decks because who gives a fk about Ragnaros when he just gets removed by a 3 mana card that actually has 4 attack. 4/2 isn't even THAT bad of stats for such a good effect.
By turn 9, you should be able to take the hit from a drood combo and survive if you're playing control warrior
With their piloted shredders, druid of the claws and azure drakes early game? You don't even have time to armor up because you are too busy removing their minions. Then when turn 9 comes you just get combo'd and you think "this is bullsh1t."
While we're at it, let's remove all the Legendaries from the game as well. No more Emperor Thaurissan, no more Loatheb, no more Sylvanas Windrunner. This will definitely solve all of our problems that we face on Ladder.
That's not the real reason combo druid always beats control warrior. The real reason is that their curve is much lower than ours, and their win condition involves getting you down to 14 hp by turn 9 before we start dropping our super big threats on the board. BGH is a huge tempo swing, but it's not specific to druids.
CW vs Combo druid is favored for druid, but at least there's a fighting chance for CW there. CW vs midrange hunter, on the other hand... I lost 5 of the last 6 games vs midrange hunter. They just curve out way too well in the early/mid game, and if I don't draw perfectly, it's pretty much auto-loss.
I play Druid but they have bad removal how do you loose as a CW? 0.0 you have like 8 legendary's and yes I have a stacked CW myself with all the cards.
Oh my, lol. I guess CW isn't the p2w deck you imagined it is? Switch to hand lock, it's treating me very well. Something like 17-30 healing, ridiculous taunts, and strong finishers. Won't help much versus Druids combo, but still fun

Druid is the class that always take crap cards from blizz-except emperor at BRM that is a neutral legendary-. Druid can play only one deck.Combo druid.Everyone is used to play around the combo.

You're a CW you have a Big Game Hunter,2 Shield Slam and 2 Execute for removal and like 10 Legendaries and you're complaining about poor Druid's BGH that is the only way the Class has to get rid of big minions?! You might lose let's say Rag cause of BGH you still have Boom,Varian and Grommash at least, he has to deal with and you're complaining?
Druid combo is imo stupid but it deals 14 Dmg on its own,worst case scenario 20 Dmg or so by turn 9 that damage should all be eaten by your Armor.... I mean you have Justicar,Armorsmith,Shield Block and maybe even Bash.... Then if even with 2 Brawl and all the aforementioned removal you let the Druid have 5 minions on the board it's your fault not BGH's or Combo's.....
No, Druid beats CW because the CW threats are all awful tempo in exchange for being good at closing. In case you didn't realize, an 8/8 for 9 is not actually a good card but it sometimes puts you out of range of lethal. Anyway, if you were able to play that it probably means that the Druid passed the turn with nothing in play which is actually a pretty weak position for them.
