Control are mainly brainless decks. It's either u purposely lower your hp down so that you can taunt up double moltens, or just heal yourself every turn plus steal the strongest minion on your opponent's board, or armor up every turn and brawl when your opponent floods board.
So slow, so boring, so mind-numbingly painful to play against.

I believe the opposite can be said about aggro decks too.

I think a good mix of both is fine, you can't really play control vs control all day as it would take too much time. A lot of people want to get quick games in during their lunch break or whatever so aggro and fast decks have to be a part of the game.
True, I go aggro when I get sick of fatigue battles, mainly priest and warriors,I like long games but. Not fatigue long though.

So much salt. This must be coming from someone who gets wrecked by control and has never tried it themselves.
Against Control, you have to play AROUND their strategy and not *into* it. Don't want to see Moltens? Don't set your opponent to under 15 until you can lethal. Don't want your board wiped from Brawl? Don't over-extend. Freeze Mage got you down? Go super aggressive from the beginning to pop the block and also don't over extend into flamestrike/blizzard. Each of these classes can be beaten or countered, you (the aggro player) just need to not be brainless.
As a Hand Lock: It is not brainless what-so-ever to walk the fine line between moltens and the opponent's ability to burst from hand. Besides, there are fewer and fewer matchups where you can simply tap-tap-mountain giant to victory.
As a Freeze mage: It is not brainless to judge every turn for survival. Do I just play a secret from hand? Do I ping and pass? Ping what: the face? a 5-hp minion? How many turns till lethal, especially if you don't draw Alex. Can you play around heals or do you waste burn on a minion?
As for Control Warrior: You can have all the late-game in the world, but if you don't have an answer for turn 1 flame imp or turn 2 shielded mini-bot you're in for a short/messy ride.
This is what makes control decks fun. You *do* have to think about your game-plan and how best to optimize your turn.
Everyone hated on aggro and I want to see your opinion on control.
I love it as it's my main playstyle but what do you think.
I believe in fun.
Control decks are like 5x more expensive than aggro. I would love to play control but without Sylvanas/Harrison/Ragnaros you ain't got too much going.
Why play control when games take 5-10mins when you can play aggro 3-5 mins?

Or any deck for that matter.

Control Matchups are the best thing in Hearthstone. I want a control ladder :c

What do we think on what ? That aggro and control are both valid decks archetype ? Oh the awful truth lol
Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
I think that control has a good place on the meta and I like to play a mix of aggro or control.
Angry Chicken
I like to play control for "real" games versus other control, and easy smashing of brain-dead aggro. A monkey could play aggro correctly.
