I just conceded a game where i was looking at two 9/9 stealthed minions, a 13/13 Edwin, and a 6/2 weapon on turn 5 or 6. What the hell am i supposed to do? I can’t even target half of the board. Only warrior has Brawl and Priest has the only spells that can actually counter something like this as far as i’m aware. Maybe mage could stall a turn or two by getting lucky with freezes i guess but are you kidding me? It’s the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever seen in this game all year (in standard format obviously). If anyone has any ideas on how to stomp these guys out i’d love to know about it
Well, the card is nerfed now so curbstomping them is out of the equation. The lack of midrange AoE control in Standard is a definite flaw. Decks like that aren't anywhere near as strong in Wild because of the sheer amount of control spells in the format.

That’s one of the most shocking parts about these nerfs. They hit Guardian to make room for other strategies but is this sort of stuff any better at all? It would prefer if the location just scaled up from a 1 cost minion from another class to a 10-cost minion of another class so it still had some Rogue flavor. But 10/10s with stealth as a reward for Rogue playing a ton of cards like they already do? Give me a break
It is beatable but it depends on your deck, a couple of decent taunts can buy you enough time to deal with the big threats, once the first burst of threats are gone, you pretty much win. The newly buffed aggro DH has the brute which does enough, seed hunter can get the 2/5 seeds or mountain bear cheat out, druid has plenty of options if you get the ramp before their location pay off. Mage and shaman has freeze but you need the stealth gone so taunts are needed to get them attacking but not all at your face.
But with that being said, that deck is still really swingy and generally they're the "feel bad games". I don't think the location should summon such a big stat minion with stealth, take that off with a nerd and it might feel better. If the stealth is kept but the stats are a temporary buff so it can be silence would probably kill the deck and drop it a tier or 2 in all fairness.

Holy Paladin works like a charm. Watch them cry when you destroy half their deck with a single Equality + Wild Pyromancer/City Tax/Blademaster Samuro combo. Probably the only Paladin deck right now that's somewhat decent. Sure, Druid is a pain in the butt and against Imp Warlock you need a very good draw, but otherwise I've had moderate success with it.
Just play 40 HP Skele Ping Mage with some Freeze Spells and Theotar included.
Enjoy the free wins, the Rogue player literally can't win, except if you misplay hard or mulligan terribly + nonstop brick draws, but that should mostly never happen. And even if you misplay you can still win easily, this matchup is awful for Miracle Rogue. :D

There's this really cool tech card that destroys locations...
I put it in my climbing decks and get instant concedes from shaman, warlock and rogue when I'm able to counter.
The meta will adjust to this deck. There's a lot of counter available; local tech, mass silence, destroy weapons.
We'll be okay the deck doesn't always draw perfect as the OP describes. And even then, it's beatable.

Ceterum censeo classum magi esse delendam.
Priest has heals, taunts and board clears. Your scenario would be quickly turned with Against All Odds.
shadow ruins rpetty dope card
