Yes, I don't expect much either from Blizzard for my case and therefor I don't pay much attention to it anymore. It is a bad thing Blizzard isn't that consistent anymore if it is about banning cheaters and hackers but it is what it is and I simply try to enjoy the games I play that goes fair and square.
Never heard about this software that helps skip animations. Maybe it exists, maybe it doesn't. But your opponent played 20 cards in the turn he killed you. You don't need a cheat engine to do that. Played way more cards than that in a turn (40+ personally). Also, that's wild for you. It's not a diverse format, it's a format where only the most degenerate card combos of all time survive.
Your animations got delayed because you didn't click the cards. I can assure you your opponent didn't skip his alotted time, your game just had to catch up with all animations.

I do know one example - something accelerates cannon barrage from Pirate Quest stage 2, cannon balls just hit their targets in a split second. Seen this stuff many times.
As for Ignite Mage - seen that and can't really imagine a way to play 20+ cards with more than half of them still in a deck while actually targeting stuff on the board. All of that good few minutes into the end of rope. Couldn't care less about Wild but a cheater is a cheater.

I can assure you that it does exist, and there is a particularly easy way to know if it's being employed, at least insofar as ignite mage is concerned. The way the ignite animation works with the archetype is that the card is shuffled back into ones deck and then redrawn via sanctum chandler, which necessarily takes several seconds. There is no way around this. After said animation is completed, only then one can aim the spell at its target (generally the opponents face), so if the animation is observed than there should be at least a 4 second gap between each use of the spell as it is necessarily shuffled, redrawn, and subsequently aimed once again at a target. If the animation is canceled, there will be no gap between each utilization of the spell and the rate at which one's opponent aims it at them will be constricted only by their capacity to aim it at their target. So, if you are on the receiving end of this, you will effectively see an arrow being spammed at your face, indicating that the spells shuffle and redraw animation is not in effect and that it is instantly reappearing in your opponents hand. I have had the opportunity to observe this several times, as I previously mentioned, when i matched up against the current rank 1 wild player in NA, and I've seen it several other times as well. All of which is to say, animation canceling is most certainly real and an issue that needs to be addressed.

Neither did I until I saw the video I linked in the openings post (If you didnt watch it yet, it is not a video about a hs game) an I faced someone who managed to play cards from his deck where the specific cards weren't even in the deck yet. And a player already got banned for that, as is told in the linked video
It's a cheat, an exploit, if your opponent doesn't have the same advantage. It's just not fair.
My point was -- and I think I was pretty clear about it -- Blizzard needs to fix it so everyone can skip animations.
If you are calling for Blizzard to catch and punish the people who are doing this, you are wasting your time. It will be a lot easier for them to fix the client so that everyone has the same option and it can no longer be called cheating.

I faced a rogue recently who somehow used the brann and queen askara glitch to completly remove the rest of my turns. He did the combo, my game froze for like 3 minutes, and then it was just never my turn again. He got to attack with his board 3 times. I just never got another turn.

Someone did the Brann/Azshara combo on me just now and it froze my client, By the time I'd logged back in, it looked as though they'd managed to get an extra turn out of it.
I think if you face it, you have to immediately restart your client to have any chance.

Yesterday in the Battlegrounds I met an opponent with a Salty Looter with about 5k attack and health in a rather short game.
I hope all of the people using this get banned.
