It’s just exhausting at this point. For me personally, this is the only class keeping the game uninteresting. I’ll let pirate warriors run train over me all day while shamans freeze me in place for them if they just deal with the warlock problem.
I don’t care about warlocks insane card draw.
I don’t care about warlocks mana cheating.
I care about their god damn healing. Why in the 7th circle of hell is blizzard pushing this kind of healing into warlock? It’s LITERALLY been proven time and time again that when warlock had access to too much healing, it’s too strong.
Now, their healing is stapled to removal, which is makes negative sense.
Quillboar: Removal/Healing.
Siphon life: Removal healing.
Touch of naz whatever: Removal healing.
New tamsin hero: Removal healing.
And most of this is furthered by tamsen copying these as well. Like why in the actual brode has warlocks kit been made to be perfect.
Think about where warlock is right now. Less than a year ago, people were howling about the tickatus/jaraxxus shell being too strong. And for the sole reason of keeping control unplayable, it was.
Do something about this class. Tone down the healing. It needs checks and balances in its aggro matchups and it barely loses those now.
I mean, let them even keep their owl and quest crap. Just nerf the damn healing so fast decks can keep it in check. Warlock shouldn’t be able to do everything, and right now it can.
I knew when it was revealed Drain Life was in the core set it was a problem, it was an insanely strong priest card and I figured it was too good to be in warlock. Touch of the Nathrezim I think is a bit overtuned, but I dunno why they made ANOTHER shadow spell that heals.
I think other than those spells, Warlock's healing is mostly okay. I don't think the new hero or soul fragments are necessarily an issue. But cheap, reliable, on demand healing is a huge issue.
I think that warlock spell should probably cost 1 more and should only choose from a friendly deathrattle that triggered, not any deathrattle minion that died, as to give someone the chance to silence it before it’s a problem.
Soul Fragments and Fel dudes shouldn't count as draws for their weapon.
Their weapon should be at least 5 mana.
Their draw is broken: I've seen them draw 1 fatigue and it count as 4 fatigue as they've drawn soul fragments and the like inbetween: This was with the Tamsin Hero card.
Their Scavenger and Bristleback cards are far too strong as their draw is far too easily made.
I shouldn't have to run Cult +1 to spells and Barrens Towers to counter one class; and they won't even work as their removal is too efficient.
I seriously don't get how warlock is balanced. Doing my nipples in at the moment.
I will auto-concede to Warlock until it is fixed and I suggest you all do the same.
Not Happy!
P.S. As Zeddy's been saying for ages; their Quest SHOULD NOT COUNT FATIGUE DAMAGE.
What a shock the class that has a hero power that draws cards is OP.
This is a lazy excuse. Warlock has gone through LONG periods of being bad. They had a super dry patch when kobolds rotated. The hero problem isn’t the problem. It’s the healing that offsets it’s main weakness
That new deathrattle legendary spell is straight cancer.
It’s really not. It is solely the owl that breaks it, because it enables the otk. Without the owl, the card is fine.
Without the owl, I think you'd struggle to find a reason to run the spell.
Perhaps until more deathrattles are released this is true, but that doesn’t excuse having a 4 mana spell that turns your entire board into a pseudo ragnaros.
I might be biased, (glances at avatar and sig) but Owl Lock is the most fun I have had with Warlock all year.
Warlock has always supposed to have some forms of healing to offset the tapping and other self damage stuff.
I think the problem is the quest. That turns all that healing and the selfdamage it enables into face damage on the other side of the board.
I never liked the quest personally, even as a Warlock afficionado. I think I have 3 or 4 games played with it.
Owl Lock though? AWESOME.
It’s only awesome for the pilot. It’s not awesome from the other side when an inevitable turn 8-10 loss is heading your way and there’s little you can do to stop it.
Control decks should not be forced out just because Blizz decided to give half the classes uninteractive otk’s.
To anyone complaining about Warlock's healing, please test it yourself in standard. Play not 1-2, but at least 15-20 games and try to survive against Face Hunter or Elemental Aggro Shaman, damaging yourself in the process to progress your quest. Hopefully then we will be able to talk about facts, not biased feelings...

That's not really a fair comparison when these hyper aggro decks shut down every single one with a slower plan. Just because the deck is weak to aggro does not mean it's OK. It preys on other control decks and shuts them down with an insanely consistent game plan, thanks to the warlock package.
And make no mistake, it has more than enough healing and removal to stall the game till your otk comes online whether it be 20+ fatigue damage or 30+ owl damage.

yes it's fucking cancer, but don't worry because the idiots that run this shit have STATISTICS that prove that the deck isn't strong, so suck it.
Lol calm down. Again, it’s the owl, not the spell that breaks it.
The spell is an interesting card, owl is not.
It is the Quest that causes healing a problem for Warlock. Before the existence of the Quest, no one ever complained about healing in Warlock.
Healing is essential for any Control (non-Quest) Warlock to deal with Aggro decks.
It’s definitely not the quest. Owl lock doesn’t run quest and also has too much healing still.

ever see a warlock with an empty hand ?
busted hero power with busted healing and removal

warlock has more healing then priest and paladin. And the heropower is better.
