...it became so boring. The no duplicate rule ruined it for me. Before even if there was no epic/legendary at least I was excited to get a rare I was missing. Now its all just quick opening and disappointment ...everybody got all the rares quickly even F2P.
Same with all those free legendaries.
I don't get it. Developers did the same with World of Warcraft... At the beginning of Hearthstone it was special, now you get them for logging in, another one in your first packs and 2 for just playing your dailies (reward track)
Must be the majority of players just want a new XP > netdeck > start complaining cause their bought cards don't let them pwn other players..
Nothing said exciting more than seeing you got a purple, only to find out that it was not only one that never found its place in the meta, but one you already had 2 copies of, so you have to dust it for 1/4 of the cost of a good purple.
I think OP's point was that commons and rare's shouldn't be subject to the no duplicates rule.
I guess I can see the point. They're common enough that they don't need this, and it means that dust can start to be collected (to save up to craft your first epics) without disenchanting before you have every single common of the set.

cheers - finally 1 out 7, that got my intention - but hey no offense to the others - this forum became just wining and flaming so theyre not even used to reading. Thx
Again: My point is that opening packs was more exciting until last year. But what should I say, I even play decks that are not #1 just for fun. Oh noes, I'm not going to explain fun here >.<
I feel you OP. I wish they would only give us 1 card per pack with no duplicate protection whatsoever. Of course this should be at the same price we're paying now. Heck, maybe even a little more expensive. I know my wife feels I don't spend enough money on HS so this could help me make her happy. This would make it a real challenge to get a single deck together - and that's what I want.
Free stuff also pisses me off to no end. They should just remove all gold, all log in rewards and stuff like that. No pack bundles either, just a flat $1 per pack with one card and no duplicate protection at all.
They could go all the way and make the packs 'standard' packs so you get one card from any of the sets in standard - none of this buying the set I want nonsense. It's too easy.
I mean they could have improved the dust system instead, but I think they felt duplicate protection would impact their bottom line less than making disenchanting cards actually worth it.

Nice b8 m8
Bait was too obvious. Try harder next time.
Sad.
You have to do better than this. Come on, have some self-respect. You call this trolling?

Very poor. You didn't even mention how DH was your favourite class.

Maybe you'd be more exited if there were just more rare cards or epic and legendary cards were more likely to appear?
I know the feeling, but compared to when you just got the same epic 4 times and there was just one rare that never turned up... Never go back
yea, maybe Im just used to actual cardgames where you have 10 copies of one and none of the one you miss. But wait we got dust for that, right?
Go outside or play a different game then come back to hearthstone after 8 hours. This way it’s still fun.
Well this thread has some potential, just lacked a little bit execution effort. I can teach you for next time..

People are able to bitch and whine about almost everything. They should be nerfed to silence IMO.
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664

Missing lethal since June 2015.
