I know that they've been updating him to pick up on some more scenarios such as buffing 0 attack minions or weapon removal and all but of the few games that I've gotten to play recently Zephrys has given some strange suggestions.
Game 1) Druid (me) vs Hunter health is equal at about 22 to 21. Hunter has a full board of a 1/1's plus a Hyena with one health and a Masked Contender with 3; I have an empty board and 10 full mana. I was specifically looking for Holy Nova + Hero power to clear the board and was offered a Cabal Shadow Priest, Tirion, and Dread Infernal.
Game 2) Hunter (me) vs Paladin. I was extremely behind this game I had about 10 health Paladin was up at about 26; Paladin is murloc paladin and is dominating the board with a lot of murlocs about 4 of them 3+ Health. I drop Zephrys at 7 mana looking for the brawl to stay alive but instead am offered Holy Nova, Cabal Shadow Priest and Lay on Hands.
Game 3) Warrior (Me) vs Rogue. Pretty even i'm at 29 they're at 23. They have a board of a 4/5 with Taunt, a 1/3 with taunt and a 1/1. I have an 8/7 Siamat on board and 8 mana. I was looking for Fireball so I could clear the 4/5 and keep a pretty big minion alive then armor up but was instead offered Cabal Shadow Priest, Ysera and Sea Giant.
It may just be me but I just feel like these are less than ideal cards for scenarios that I was very clearly looking for a different card.
Zephrys does derp out sometimes, but the important thing to remember is that you have to guide zephrys to the right amount of mana equal to the card you want. So if you want fireball then you have to make sure that you play zeph when you have 6 mana left.
Mm I do play him in wild sometimes and his offers do not make much sense at times, yes.
Playing highlander priest. Dropped him turn 2, for a good 3 drop or a spell to clear enemy 3/4. Offers ware druid 3 mana card to improve my mana pool by 1, 0 mana silence to debuff 3/4 into 2/3 I guess and I don't remember 3rd chlhoixe but it was 3/4 minnion with little synergy to my deck.

Game 1 Zephrys is correct. The best AoE in a vacuum is Dread Infernal as it is attached to a 6/6 body, which contests the 2/3 (and then some). Remember zephrys doesn’t know what your macro game plan is, he will just look for the best card according to the numbers. He almost always offer Tirion at 8 mana because it’s the best proactive card in a vacuum. Cabal is iffy but a reasonable high impact reactive play that isn’t another AoE. He’s definitely more likely to offer Holy Nova here if you hero power the 2/3 first, as it removes Tirion from the pool (you only have 6 mana) and makes Cabal weaker.
Game 2 doesn’t make a lot of sense, he seems to always offer brawl against a full board. Especially weird for him to offer 2 cards that are not playable this turn. Do you have a replay of this?
Game 3 seems normal. It won’t offer removal spells unless it unlocks lethal, or their board is stronger than yours. It expects you to play the Cabal or Sea Giant and clear with Siamat for a very strong tempo swing. Ysera is rarely offered (going into turn 9 when you are ahead only).
All in all game 2 seems like an anomaly/bug but games 1 and 3 are consistent. Remember Zephrys doesn’t know what you want, you have to learn how he works and manipulate his offerings accordingly (through sequencing your plays correctly).
Game one and three his option seem better than what you were looking for. I mean dread infernal is insane in that position and playing an eight eight instead of healing four on your siamat also seens worth it. Game 2 is weird. did you have one or two minions on board to trade? Otherwise it seems like a bug.
Also best option in game 2 is black knight no? Why did it not offer that one strange
Cases 1 and 2 seem correct. Case 2 seems questionable. Are you omitting some info about your board? If you had a reasonable board, then Holy Nova seems like a legit pick. Otherwise, I would also expect a brawl 100%.
Also best option in game 2 is black knight no? Why did it not offer that one strange
I'm assuming by "I drop Zephrys at 7 mana" he means that literally, and therefore had 5 mana to play with (also sort of explains why Lay on Hands was offered if it was turn 7), so it should not offer TBK as a reactive option. With that said, Kabal Shadow Priest was a very strange offer for this reason. Brawl is an absolute given here though so I'm not convinced we have all the correct information.
for game 1 and 3 you played it wrong if you want holy nova in game 1 you should play zephyr at 7 mana left if you want a fire ball play zephyr a t 6 mana lefgt
I tried out Highlander Mage against innkeeper just to know what expecting from this deck. I watched some games from other players before. They all playes Zephrys on T2, if they had him on hand to get Wild Growth. I also played Zephrys but he doesn´t gave me Wild growth. He gave me Sorcerer´s Apprentice and two others I do not remember. The second game, I played him on T2 he gave me Wild Growth. Don´t know why. Is it may the innkeeper played a minion with Divine Shield or with 3 health before (don´t remember which it was)? I don´t know much about Zephrys, cause I normalldy don´t like this card. But now I want to understand how this could happen. Anybody knows?
It won't offer wild growth if you are losing the board turn 2. Would likely have offered animal companion or blood knight if it was a divine shielded minion on board for turn 3, others have said you need to guide him with your sequencing of plays. Only time I don't get the card I'm looking for is when I mess up.
The fact that it does not look at card text, is extremely bad against certain minions and sometimes even entire classes. My example is, as a Highlander Mage, I played against Quest Priest. I dropped a Mountain Giant on turn 5, which he answered with Convincing Infiltrator. I dropped Zephrys hoping to get atleast Silence, but would've been infinitely more happy with Hex, of course. My options? Defender of Argus, Eaglehorn Bow and some other random and utterly useless card. I mean, come on?
I think the most irrational thing about Zephrys is that in some situations, the player knows exactly what the perfect card will be. But it doesn't offer it, because of some unwritten rule about it not reading card text, or even not looking at Deathrattles. It's very confusing, and extremely vague. They should clarify this more, or include situations like Deathrattles, which sounds better.

Thought something like that, but wasn´t sure. As I was watching the streams again, there was most of time no enemy minion on board, when they played Zephrys. As far as I seen streams of Zephrys he was played T2 he offered Wild Growth. So this was completely new.
Another zephyr is bad post and yet its just op misplaying as per usual. Only game 2 is weird and im pretty sure some info is wrong there. Zephyr dumb? Oh someone is dumb alrightCard Name

He is kind of dumb. I mean in a cases where old cards are involved in wild expecially. I was playing highlander priest, with my 0 mana spells and Hero power I had taken enemy to 4 hp with 3 mana left.
I played zephyr having 1 mana left for HP, hoping to see shaman 0 mana spell for 2 damage with overload fallowed by HP. He offered me cards which couldn't secure a kill this turn. I did win with his offered card yes, but it was next turn and I could see lethal right this turn.
Or playing this week's tavern brawl. Enemy is Xmas tree mage with 4 secrets. It offers me card that destroys 1 secret, even if there exists a card that can destroy them all or at least steal one for myself.
Did it give me a good option, yes. The best one possible? No not really.

I think 0 mana Shaman you are talking about is Zap! and secret stealing card is Kezan Mystic, both of which are NOT in classic or basic and so Zeprys will never ever offer those cards.
Another case of players not understanding and then blaming the card.

I was playing wild as you would know from DK anduin. And zephyr does offer cards from classic and basic sets. Which would still have options, for lethal in such case, such as cold blood , and giving minnion windfury.
He is not coded perfectly btw, as you know he can't see your hand and/ minnion effects, such as exact deathrattle, which would allow lethal, my example might have been half wrong. But the problem is- zephyr does not see your cards in hand. If you need an early combo piece he might not offer you one.

I've seen my fair share of questionable "perfect" cards. Flamestrike was the perfect card. Didn't get it best case I got was shadowflame. Perhaps?

Seems blizzard has done some shadowy nerfing on him. May it mean a sertain fella is coming back from wild?

Zephrys's winrate has increased in last few days, so obviously he can't be getting dumber or Blizzard stealth nerfing him.
