OP simply don't understand how unity works and how you can implement a new mechanics in this engine.
Unity is a powerful machine (ofc not as powerful as unreal or other engines written by big game companies) and you can basically do anything in this engine. Also a new mechanics as it was told are implemented in special type of C# which using Unity libraries and it depends on how u are good in writing code, no how u are good in using pure engine and his limits only.
The only thing I think (except of laziness of card designers ofc) can be real is that hearthstone has been written in an old version of unity (don't know exactly but I suppose it was unity 4 or 5) and it's simple not re-written to a newer version (currently we have unity 2018) because it will cost a developers a lot lot work and now it's basically don't profitable because hearthstone is a number one of casual card games and I believe the things won't change in future years, so developers can do shit every three months and it still will sell.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
I never understood why a multi billion money printing machine is using an utterly poor 3rd party engine, instead of creating something own. Unless, they just want to farm money from their sheeps. But who would think of this... unimaginable.

While i agree with your spaghetti thesis, show me ONE GOOD game based on unity. ALL unity engine games i own, and i own like more than 25000€ in games according to steamdb, are at most mediocre. If not worse. One unity game even fried my laptop, because it accumulated max fps regardless of consequences.

Unity has a lot of really good games. The issue is that whenever a game shows the Unity splash thingy, it shows that the person is using the free version of it, often showing that the person does not know what they are doing. It's a good engine but it just made the mistake of showing it's name whenever some random person uses it for free.
Yes, i know this list, show me one good game from that list. I own many of them. The only 2 games not causing problems so far are sudden strike 4 and wasteland 2. I love 7 days to die, but the engine is killing it. unity is an engine for wanna be indies and come back indies. Heck even blizzard cant apply this engine. I remember it everytime i try to maximise the gamewindow.
I know it's not the most cutting-edge graphics, but it's certainly kept me and a large quantity of other folks entertained for the past 4 years.

Sorry but i'm will have to prove right now that there still atleast 1 unexplored direction that was already show by whizbang to but used with those 2 cards that have effects towards deckbuilding:
A blast from the past
mage legendary spell
Cost: undefined
This card allows you to put a card from the past in your deck.
Or yet:
Fake card
Rogue rare spell
That card turns into a extra copy of the last valid card you put in your deck.(Obs: You still can only use 2 fake cards in your deck).
In other words:
Fake card would allow rogue to play x3 or x4 of a card of their choice in their decks instead of x2.
C# is not low level, no need to make shit up. Still, it's powerfully enough for hearthstone or lots and lots of other games. The simplicity of the game has nothing to do with the engine, it's always been simple by design.
I like the part where, you mr trump, ignored the FACT, that i was talking about the entertaining part.
Actually the "denied" was a callback to your other inane post about undeniable facts and I would have written it regardless of your response.
And solitaire doesn't entertain me. You said "so does solitaire". You are denied.

OP says he thinks this is a sick expansion. How you get “worst” is beyond brainless.

You're high if you think Unity is that limited
OP you have no freaking clue what you're talking about.
"Everyone! Get in here!"
One word: Multi-platform

Correct me if I'm wrong but... isn't Magic the Gathering: Arena using the Unity game engine as well?

@Thonson Yes it does.
I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

Just remember guys, anyone who disagrees with the OP is probably a Blizzard employee. /s
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
Well, there's this game called Hearthstone.

So does Solitaire.
Denied.
As far as I know, Solitaire is not run in Unity.
