I've taken the time to translate the scrolling binary code near the top of today's Boomsday Labs post. There's 4 different messages, not seeming to interlace or anything, but here they are:
Unity. Precision. Perfection.
Praise Zilliax!
Fleshlings are so Fragile.

Mostly boasting about being a Mech is better than human or whatever, but Zilliax is probably the next thing to replace Mimiron's Head if you ask me, and that date could reveal something else if anybody wants to do some digging :)
I really want mech mage to be a thing again, but given that Shamans are already looking to get a lot of elementals I'm worried mages will get the same treatment :/
If they just make mechs' identity "Miscellaneous Aggro/Tempo Stuff" 4 years later again, I swear to God...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
The date is related to Terminator, a movie about killer robots and time travel! So mechs will easily fit this theme in being destructive under Dr. Boom's tutelage.

I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what the Terminator movies (and series) are about... :P
What? No, thank you. Mech mage was pure cancer, nothing else than a brainless aggro deck, LOL.
yeah because Mage's current identity is so much better
That doesn't mean we need more cancerous decks. And yeah, very powerful aggro deck = cancer, at least for me. ;)
Would you rather aggro minon based deck that you can respond to or aggro spell based deck that ignores board and just points spells to your face leaving you with little counterplay.

I never said Mech mage had to be an aggro deck anyway, I just want a mech based mage deck lol. Hell I'd settle for Odd Mech Mage lol

I would like any variant to become a thing again however my comment on aggro was a direct response to Sherman's comment on aggro mech mage.

None, but your question is pointless. If Mech Mage becomes a thing again (as an aggro deck), it alone wouldn't make Aluneth Mage (also known as Aggro Mage or Burn Mage) suddenly dissapear from the meta.

August 29, 1997 is Judgment Day.
Gotta love that terminator reference.
