Easiest solution for balancing quests it's make its reward to shuffle in to the deck like priest have. So at last you have more chances to counter its OP reward. And it's will be less ass shuttering losing this way, so you can at last blame rng or lack of some tech cards in hand.

I like that idea. There's a bit of an issue with Mage and Warlock being able to draw an absurd number of cards, Warlock especially because they try to empty their deck anyway so they have pretty good odds of drawing it immediately, but it's definitely a step up from what's happening now.
So I just queued some Hearthstone games to relax. Quest rogue is really fun, I enjoyed playing it. I was winning and I was losing. But after 3 fucking quest mages, all of them with double fucking flow I can't help myself but rage to hell and add them to tell them play lotto or some other shit and stop playing Hearthstone. But maybe it's me who should stop playing this clown fiesta game
I didn't want to play wild any more because I was forced to accept losing to Pepega op decks like darkglare warlock or any kind of combo druid in order to have fun with my fun, more fair, decks. Now this shit moved to standard as well. What am I supposed to play to have some sort of skill involved? Fucking classic?
Idiot people complain about quest warlock&quest mage, but they can't see that paladin is #1 again xD Exactly same situation as before. We'll get bad nerfs because of those stupid people complains, and paladin will reach 70%+ WR. Open eyes fucking idiots.
And another game decided by that fucking counterspell card. That card that's completely min-max-y. Can be discovered off of literally anything, and gets put into play by ring toss.
is it even possible to loose a game as a shaman? i would not be able to recount how many fucking times this fucking class has dominated the meta with absolutely absurdly unfair and broken shit. 2 mana 2/5 rush windfury, 4 mana reduce every single minion cost by one, 4 mana rush heal to basically full hp, and then deal 16 damage with doomhammer on the next turn.
Quest mage and Quest warlock are some of the most toxic decks I have encountered in all my years since playing. Even pirate warrior was more fun to play against, since you had a chance you'd still be alive by turn 6-7. 15 games, not even exaggerating have been 9 mages, 4 warlocks and 2 garrote rogues. Wtf has this meta and game come to.
Edit: I FUCKING HATE Quest mage so much. Even as I manage to beat them down with evolve shaman. They ofcourse discover 2x (!!!!) extra refreshing spring water, to fucking pop off even further with their infinite ignites. Who the fuck on team 5 thought it'd be a fantastic idea to give mage infinite fireballs.
It's sad that such an iconic expansion has evolved this way. The game is at it's peak of uninteractivity - not rewarding in any way, complete failure.
Literally losing games against players who can't even play their cards properly. Complete bullshit.
Based upon my current interaction with the moderators let me preface this by saying:
I AM NOT IMPLYING THAT THE GAME CHOOSES WINNERS TO ACHIEVE ITS STATED GOAL OF AN OVERALL 50% WIN RATE.
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE SAME PROGRAMMING SHOWN IN ZTG CONTROLS EVERY ASPECT OF THE GAME.
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE ALGORITHM IS RAMPED UP TO PROMOTE NEW EXPANSIONS IN THE HOPE OF GETTING NEW PLAYERS TO PLAY LONGER AND SPEND REAL MONEY.
These types of comments are not constructive.
If an opponent plays wrong card after wrong card and still wins it has nothing to do with any published goal. It is simply bad luck.
So fuck whatever players the current majority of people here hate for whatever reason! Let's hope they die in horrible accidents and get terminal diseases and other constructive threats and insults like that. These are the types of posts that help this community! If nothing else I am a team player.
Don't forget to subscribe to the pro streamers' various social media channels! Buy some more cards and make the flavor of the week net deck!
Yeah. Game is in the worst state it has ever been. It doesn't matter what deck you play and what you find fun. Decks you face changes so much depending on your deck and all decks have one counter match up that just totally destroys you like 8 out of 10 times. Now when their meta is in so unbalanced state. It comes more and more obvious they are using fixed matchmaking.
It's just sad your game just keeps getting worse and worse and you keep screwing customers more and more since Activision only cares about money. Please delete your company and start making actually changes.
Are you lucky? No? Ok you don’t get easy wins. Do you pay bli$$ard real money? No? Ok no easy wins. You play cards then the rng reacts to your cards. Everything is a perfect discover. Everything is a perfect top deck. Everything is run by bli$$ard. You win when you are allowed to win. Plain and fucking simple period. Hearthstone is not a serious game. And should be blasted for pretending to be one. It’s just a fucking endless joke that never ends at this point. It’s all the same otk wombo combo bs that never stops. Where my opp can fuck themselves and the game will proceed to unfuck for them. Because god forbid the game before where if you were bad you were just that bad. Where now we have to give free wins to plebs because fuck putting any time or thought into anything you do. You people who put time into this game. Fuck you. You have a brain? Fuck you. You’ve been playing this game for years? Fuck you we don’t fucking care. We care about our god the dollar and whatever gets us that. Thanks for playing and again to our great customers fuck you
I've been warned that pointing out the obvious is not constructive. Fuck Blizzard, fuck players, wishing cancer and AIDS on people, these things are all useful and constructive comments. Any talk about game mechanics or Blizzard as a profit driven company is strictly forbidden.
I really need a "pro streamer" to do a tutorial on how to build a deck that wins in 5-6 turns. I have been playing for a long time but I can't seem to put together a deck that draws cards that consistently allows you to win in 5-6 turns yet after I win 4-5 games in a row it seems like I always run into these decks that are put together so perfectly that they win in 5-6 turns. They seem to have my number for about 4-5 games. It appears that they are just typical net decks but there has to be some tweak that I am missing that allows them to draw perfect cards on curve.
Gonna just throw out my displeasure that Doom Hammer gives you 8 friggin swings. ...
Losing to OTK/ Quest combos = Bad
Losing to Aggro Smorc = Acceptable
Doomhammer is pretty bullshit, but losing to it is partially on the player because it can be stopped. If you lose to aggro, it's a lot easier to accept. "Oh, I just had a bad mulligan", "I wish I could have drawn my cheap taunt", "Maybe I should run weapon removal". If you lose to a combo deck, especially before turn 10, it feels like there was nothing you could do. Because, there really isn't much you can do.
Your options are: 1) Abandon any hope of playing control. 2) Try running Mutanus/Vol'jin in hope that you will draw it and have enough mana for it before your opponent completes their quest, then hope that your opponent can't play their quest reward on the turn they get it, then pray to any god that will listen that the battlecry will randomly hit the quest reward. 3) Uninstall
The same could be said for control players losing to combo when Blizzard has gone out of their way to include multiple choices for combo busting. When I was mainlining Mechathun Warlock I would be amazed at just how little combo busters control players were running. And especially since Blizzard has pretty much made it a point to try and make sure any decent combo OTK doesn't go off before turn 8. The control decks that ran Rats, Mutanus, etc.. usually got a GG from me for not dismissing combo out of hand. So yeah, I find it weird that everyone is normal getting Smorc'd by turn 5 aggro, but lose their mind when a turn 9 Mechathun triggers.
I was just salty by getting smacked in the face by a doom hammer for 16+ points. Which is the point of this thread. To be salty and whine about losing in a manner that could have been prevented.
Combo>Control>Aggro>Combo
But lately it seems people don't want combo no mo.

I've never played a warlock that drew practically their entire deck on turn 5, until today. I thought that kind of stuff was relegated to Wild. One of the most frustrating experiences of my entire hearthstone career. I encourage everyone to uninstall.

Standard is beyond stressful ATM. Good fucking bye, hearthstone. I miss what you once were.
Ah a quest mage/warlock player.....
Hearthstone is just a bad game
And I got hit by double 2 mana fireballs in a match AGAIN because Blizzard refused to nerf Incanter's Flow last set.
So that's... great...?
And another game decided by that fucking counterspell card. That card that's completely min-max-y. Can be discovered off of literally anything, and gets put into play by ring toss.
So in my last game,
I used glide to throw his Tamsin into his deck and guess what happened
predermined wins or losses from the beggining of the game
more script than fifa
hope you get bankrupt soon blizzfags
Quest Warlock.
End of message.

Complaining about an 8 mana card when games end on turn 6. Great :)

At this point it really does seem like they are just phoning it in.
