Recently got a golden Open the Waygate, and with 3 bad legendaries I can safely disenchant(and a Wickerflame Burnbristle), I may be able to create an Exodia Mage deck. However, I also have Rin, the First Disciple, so I may be able to create a control warlock deck (if I'm ambitious, Cubelock). Im closer to making a functioning Exodia mage deck, and would be fun for a f2p to use, but Control Warlock would have a higher winrate. Which should I focus on building? (I also have 2 Corridor Creepers I can convert to whatever cards I need, so I can pratically complete either deck I focus on, including dusting my golden Open the Waygate if I'm doing Control Warlock or Cubelock or whatnot ;-;).
really just depends on what you would enjoy playing more. They each offer a slightly different playstyle, although both of them aim for the long game. And we still don't know if any cards will be moved into the Hall of Fame, which might affect Cubelock (if they go with Doomguard) or Exodia (if they somehow go with Sorcerer's Apprentice, but that is quite a bit more unlikely than Doomguard).
And what are you goals with the deck? Do you want to hit rank 5? Legend? It's tough to know how either deck will perform post-nerf, since we may see some other decks dominate (I think Face Hunter will come back strong, and possibly Murloc Paladin since Call to Arms wasn't touched). I'd say you best bet is to wait a week until after the nerfs have happened and see what decks are shaping up to be top tier. Then craft one of those, or craft the deck you just want to play.
And be careful about disenchanting "bad" legendaries. Which ones are they? Who knows if they will be good in the next year or two.

I suggest you wait 1 week to see what the meta will be like. Then you can either play the best deck or the deck that counter the best deck.
Btw, I think there are no bad legendaries. If blizzard really want something to work, it will work no matter what. Like spirit umbra and prince three that people said will never see play is being used in the best deck now.
still didn't say what your goals are with Hearthstone...do you want to reach rank 5 every month? Do you want to play a fun deck? Accumulate Gold/Cards as fast as possible?
But, at this point, have patience and wait until a week after the nerfs, or better yet, wait until after the next expansion, as that could seriously shake things up. Then, just examine the meta and craft what is best.

I've disenchanted a Moorabi, Hogger, Doom of Elwynn and a Gruul to craft an elemental mage(a long time ago). Including the The Runespear, Illidan Stormrage, and a Moroes, I've had a total of 6 terrible legendaries (5 excluding the Adventure one). The other legendaries I have that I haven't mentioned yet are Frost Lich Jaina, Deathstalker Rexxar, and Lyra the Sunshard. So around 5/10 legendaries I got from packs were unplayable in meta. O O F
