Warrior: Didn't play or play against patron warrior, that archetype was almost dead when I started playing this game. All warrior archetypes are either hyper aggresive or slow as a brick. Only if there was a playable slower midrange-ish warrior. Also, I only have 60 wins with it in ranked, and I just reroll all those 'win 3 with warrior' quests. Hunter is my second most hated class, and very close to this one, because it seems to have only two playable archetypes, aggro and fast midrange.
Dragon warrior sort of fits that description, even though it still is kind of on the aggressive side(similar to decks like midrange hunter and tempo rogue). It's even more boring than both CW and pirate warrior though.
My favorite is priest, well before the DK caused priest to be a cancer. I like to troll opponents and basically screw up their plans. No one does this more than priest with stealing cards and minions and having mainly reactive cards to stop the opponent from doing what they are doing. I just like to annoy the opponent to no end. Also helps that my WoW main was a priest for many years before I quit.
My least favorite, and the only class I'm not at level 60 with, is Warrior. Bleh, Boring cards, boring interactions. I'm generally a control player, and I never liked the feel of CW (partly because when it was in its hey-day, I didn't have all the epics you needed for it). Taunt warrior is dumb and unreactive, just play taunts over and over. Someday I might get this class to 60, but I think I'm at level 48 at the moment, so it won't be any time soon.
Favorite Class: Hunter. I've always loved hunters, and I loved the original beast synergy the class used to be known for back in Vanilla. However for the past year my class has been unplayable for Blizzard keeps printing them garbage.
Least favorite class: Shaman. I hate playing them, and I hate playing against them. Back when Tunnel Trogg was a thing I almost quit the game because of how much cancer that fucking card was.
Favorite: Priest: Man I just love almost every single card priest has and no, I didn't jump on the train when the class became the absolute god of standart, priest was my first Golden hero and it stayed that way for a looong while, so yeah when the class was barely even worth to be in the meme tier I loved it and now that's the goat I still do and enjoy it a lot, I love every archetype, my favorite is for sure razakus (I can almost smell the salt coming my way now), but spiteful and combo priest are amazing and fun af to play.
Least favorite: This is a hard one, atm I would say Shaman, it has been one of my favorite classes historically but in the last 2 expansion it got nothing but garbage so it's really hard to justify playing it and atm is the only class I don't have a deck ready to go on my slots but in a more genral sense I would have to say either Warrior or Druid, the only deck I have for warrior and that I've had always is PW and it really just gets boring after a couple games and every other Warrior deck is so slow and mind numbing that the win condition is your opponent fallin asleep before you do honestly and Druid well... Jade is probably the most boring thing to play ever and I'm missing like half of the deck on Big Druid and I won't craft any of that as it's only legendaries that work for that deck and nothing else, aggro druid is fun tho and very good currently so yeah atm I enjoy playing that deck but overall I don't find Druid mechanics too fun tbh.
Without Iceblock a pure grinder control mage is dead in standard period unless they print some absurd powercreeped armor gain card or smthg. the amount of absurd shit aggro and tempo can do in the meta is at an all time high....and you are out controlled by priest and lock without the extra turn.
Hall of fame is such an inelegant solution, it's such an integral mage class card. Might as well remove tirion from pally, doomguard or jarax from warlock, brawl from warrior, etc.
This was a favorite least favorite class/reason thread, my literal fav archtype in the game will be dead in standard if they HOF iceblock (again with the above caveats)...that makes me sad...
I love that they really brought the "sacrifice everything for power" theme from Warlock into play. Best Heropower in the game, allows you to have a decent hand most of the time during the game. During all those years, Warlock had multiple top tier decks most of the time. Which means different ways to play an efficient deck.
It's also highly interactive. The only exception is probably Malylock, but every other deck demands caution and some understanding over opponents' decks. I've been a fan of the class ever since I opened Mal'ganis back in GvG and it's the only class I bothered reaching more than 500 victories in ranked, so far.
Runners up: Mage, Shaman and Priest, in that order.
Least favorite: Warrior
Pirate was the most brainless and uninteractive deck ever since Facehunter. Grim Patron required some though, but was boring to play against as well. Control Warrior used to be a very interesting deck, but too expensive for a F2P like me at the time. I don't like how he buries himself in armor too, compare that with Warlock, always gambling with his own life to get more power.
Runners up: Hunter for the sheer ammount of brainless decks it sustained all those years. Paladins aren't too fun to play either, but are not as terrible as those 2.
I feel that rogues and druids are ok. Nothing special, I still play with them once in a while. Rogue decks get extra points from being, sometimes, counterintuitive with some legit "Wow" momments.
Favorite: Warrior - Honestly the most skill based class; especially with wallet warrior. Requires strategic thinking for the conservation of resources in order to gain the upper hand within the latter stages of the game.
Worst (Most filthy class): Priest - RNG fiesta. Brainless plays. Annoying emotes. Abhorrent players. Majority of decks have a low skill threshold (especially with the net decks which the majority of players use).
Favourite is between Priest and Warlock, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with Warlock. Plenty of viable archetypes, some of the coolest legendaries in the game, and was my original first class back in WoW.
Least favourite is Mage. Partly became I hate Jaina as a character, but mainly because since the beginning of Hearthstone they've never had any interesting archetypes. Right now (from a Wild POV), all their decks are just different variations of "draw, draw, draw and then throw Fireballs at the face", whether it's Exodia or Aggro. If they deleted this useless class tomorrow, I won't lose any sleep.
Favorite::: Rogue!!! in any game with rpg or similar class system the first one for me is rogue, thief, assassin... trick, agility, swiftness... lurking in shadows... ^^ ... miracle rogue was my first deck to really get me into hs (back with Conceal, Tomb Pillager, Azure Drake... mil was fun also... now, even thou you win rarely, Tess rogue creates such fun, unique games...
Warlock is me second most favorite with all d demons and black magic
Least f::: Mage!!! never liked elemental spells, high-elves-style--looking-down-on-everything-and-every-one-else shit... too stuck up 4 me taste... to heavenly... too shiny... :P ...also gameplay:: little variations... freeze the board... burn opponent... finish quest... not saying it's brainless... quite opposite... just not my cup of cake... ^^
my favorite class genuinely changes all the time, as new decks are created and with expansions and such I constantly seem to fall in love with decks and classes all the time. But recently for the last month or two I have really took a liking the mage (specifically the big mage archetype) its the first deck where I feel I've truly 'mastered' in that I can judge mulligans, when to play certain cards etc etc but even as a whole mage seems to be just a good solid class, as someone already said 'jack of all trades' fits it perfectly, its never been amazingly OP but just does well against the field and will always have a competitive deck.
Least favorite for me has to be shaman, just never really had an interest from the start, it then morphed into rage during the aggro shaman era where it dominated the meta and was just horrible to play against, overload control shaman feels like it could be fun but I don't have the important cards and have no desire to craft as I don't believe its too competitive (although with the new expansion on the horizon that could change who knows)
I love the control play-style mages have, tons of boardclear, late game value and armor tools like Arcane Artificer and Ice Barrier. I think that the best way to win a match is going to fatigue and counter every card your opponent plays till he has no cards left. If you can also beat aggro decks you ll know you are playing a great deck. The only problem are those pesky Shudderwock Shamans. This is why I left the fatigue play style and I ve added thr Exodia Package.
Less favourite- Shaman
I hate this class. Not because of the new cancer deck (Shudderwock Shaman), rather because it doesn't have an identity. Murloc Shaman never worked, Freeze Shaman neither, the only good archetype is Even Shaman because it can swarm the board really fast and of course because of Murkspark Ael, the only good 2-drop against aggro decks. Talking about Shudderwock, instead, I think it's a missed control deck. The deck is totally gimmicky, al relies on a single card, Shudderwock- every single card needed for the combo is inconsistent, why should you run Lifedrinker in a control deck otherwise? Shudderwock also limits space design, Blizzard has been careful giving new battlecry cards to Shaman in BDP, doesn't it?

Um, it's not that different from BSM. You basically kill and stall everything, then drop the dk, which is your win condition. Maybe you also play Alanna which is your other win condition. I used to like BSM until I played against it with a proactive deck. It's just tons of removal and armour gain, and the ability to outlast your opponent by spawning lifesteal elementals. What does shudderwock do differently except the game ends when they play the wock. In most cases if you play a mid or aggro deck, the game ends against BSM if they have an acceptable life total and play lich Jaina, it just takes longer.
I have problems playing with Shaman, I love the concepts of the class but I can never find myself enjoying them.
As a favorite, I do like fatigue decks, I like Mill Rogue, Fatigue Priest and my actual favorite, Dead Man's Warrior!
My favorite is priest, well before the DK caused priest to be a cancer. I like to troll opponents and basically screw up their plans. Im an agro low manna synergy player. I Honestly couldn't daft a mage arena deck if my life depended on it.
Favorite: Paladin. You've got aggro decks, midrange decks, control decks, great legendaries, the best art, and even an exodia deck
Least favorite: Warrior. Just doesn't feel exciting or interesting
Favorite: Priest - Especially greed control ass priest (you guys the real MVP)
Fuck "Least Favorite" - Loathe spammy cancer / herp derp face *side eyes Paladin, Shaman, Hunter, and the new doctor six Priest*
Do your thing and have fun.

Least favourite : Priest with paladin being close second.
I hate both of them because i hate both classes in all rpgs and dnd. "Me so gut!Power of the light and friendship" Bleeeh

I like mage, shaman and Hunter. Paladin is ok. Druid, rogue, warlock and priest are infuriating. Warrior is neither here nor there.
