I don't have time to read all this - all I know is, that priest won't leave the tier 1 list.
It's just plain obvious - look how many good cards they got. If people seriously think, the darkness is a good counter - I thought we all knew how slow and inconsistent it is, that's more of a meme.
Anyway if aggro decks want to be popular, they have to find a way to kill the opponent before turn 7 (or turn 6 dragonfire potion). Just like old times, reno times, if they have a good hand, full of burns, then turn 7 is not the dead line.
Regarding other classes and decks - dunno, hard to tell.
Burn mage has an aggressive secret (which you can tutor out with Arcanologist), and better draw (Aluneth)
That's really all it needed.
This meta over the next few weeks is going to surprise a lot of people. But one thing is certain, aggro secret mage will be very good for laddering today.
Aggro mage is on my list of things to try, especially since I pulled Aluneth but right now I'm running big spell mage because I made Dragoncaller Alanna gold. It's really fun so far. Lots and Lots of board clear. The Draw power is a little lacking but there's a couple cards to deal with that. Arcane Artificer is nuts. Winning a game as a mage with upwards of 50+ hp is hilarious. There's a couple of tech options that are interesting as well.
Speaking of tech, The Darkeness isn't a counter to Raza priest, it's merely a tech card. It's actually more of a control tech card. Every card your opponent draws brings them closer to giving you a 20/20 they have to deal with. What's scary is that if they spend mana to draw cards, they risk summoning it with no way of killing it. It's actually a very good card all around.
The darkness activating vs twilight acolyte...

Aluneth will be like Keleseth, insane if you draw it, still ok to have in your deck if you dont.
well got aluneth as random weapon, time to try this beast out.
