I havent met a single warrior so far.. and by the way, there is no meta.. it's random people playing random decks.. people testting the cards they got, people joking around and having fun.. there is no meta at least for a couple of weaks..
Strogest deck I have seen so far is Elementals. So far almost every quest deck I have played I have smashed with Zoo since they are pretty slow. The only quest deck so far that I've seen able to stand a chance vs Aggro is the Warrior Quest
That's not true. I'm playing Pirate warrior (swapped out Finley for an execute but the rest of the deck is unchanged) and I've jumped from 12-10 and almost to 9. So there IS a meta. Just a lotta people testing in it while others like myself are staying with tried and true.

I'm also seeing a lot of discard warlock and taunt warriors. Although tbh the taunt warriors have been pretty easy to beat so far as I'm 2-1 against them.
Been facing Hunter decks mostly, but not lost to a single one yet. Some managed to "pop" there quest and such but it just isn't enough. I'm not saying the deck is bad, it's just no refined yet and probably won't be for a while. A few Warriors, Warlocks and Rogues. Not a single Priest, Paladin(other then my self)
I'm Playing "Quest" Paladin with a control-ish theme. Who ever thought that quest would be hard to finish lied, got it of 73%(yes, keeping track) of all my games so far. Not all, but in a few of the games Galvadon just wins the game the turn after he's played. Also, man, Dinosize! Didn't see that one coming, didn't expect it to be such a threat. It's like having the old Pyroblast for 8 mana again.
Short update: started rank 18 and am now 9. I haven't played HS for ages but this is FUN :D
I originally thought I was going to be playing Elemental Shaman, but didn't pull a single card for the deck besides Tar Elemental in 45 packs (seriously, not even a Hot Spring Guardian?) so I've been going with taunt warrior all day long. I've been seeing a variety of decks, only Druid and Paladin seem underrepresented so far. Every other class I've faced multiple times.
Hunter quest is very dependent on Fire Fly. If they get that card and curve out to Queen Carnassa on turn 5, it's super scary. If they can't complete the quest by then though you have a chance to stabilize. The Raptor draw train actually isn't that great and will usually only draw 1/2 cards before they hit a random low impact 1 drop, it'll usually vomit like 6/4 to 8/5 worth of stats each turn which is perfectly manageable.
Mage is free wins for taunt warrior. It's the Freeze Mage matchup all over again. I may have overrated their quest, sure they might do well against the other classes, but auto losing to a deck isn't fun.
Priest is just terrible. Their minions are understatted, slow, and low impact. Maybe it's because they're playing a lot of bad cards like Mirage Caller, but the signs are not pointing up for them.
Rogue is going to be very very scary when it catches on. Competing the quest by turn 5/6 is pretty much a given between Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental, making those puny Flame Elementals into 5/5 doesn't hurt either.
Shaman is super strong if they get the god curve, but they no longer have the Tunnel Trogg/Totem Golem early pressure meaning you can mulligan more conservatively, and aim to strangle them out of resources due to their complete lack of card draw.
Warlock is an RNG fest, if they discard their discards they're free wins, if they keep discarding Silverware Golem/Clutchmother Zavas you're dead.
Warrior plays on two polar extremes atm, either going pirate or taunt. We'll see how it goes but so far taunt warrior is doing very well for me.
more like boring and unfun, I can't wait for people to figure out a new deck to stop those pirate warriors
I can't disagree with you. But I'm taking advantage of the bad experimental decks right now. I also don't like Pirate Warrior but I'm gonna play it to get to legend where I then can mess around with the new stuff.
Taunt warrior is going to be really tough for a while because it was the most straight forward quest that doesn't entirely inhibit your play. I think other decks will catch up. I only got 2 legendaries (King Dred and the Paladin quest) but I'm gonna try and run an elemental mage deck until I decide what to drop my dust on.
Taunt Warrior, Taunt Warrior, Taunt Warrior, Pirate Warrior, then Taunt Warrior followed by Taunt Warrior.
What rank. I'm at 10 and my first 7 games since opening packs have been against warrior. That quest is beyond easy.

Yeah, a toast!
i'm meeting a lot of mid-range hutners and they seem to be the new cancer, nothing can stop drop beast into crackling razormaw

Haha yes you can't talk about "meta" when the expansion has just been released 5 hours ago...

So... many... hunters. Hunter, hunter, hunter hunter, hunter...

Yeah sure, buddy.
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.

Hey I'm from EU and while I'm continuing to dening all the calls from my dentist I continue to play vs pirate warriors and miracle rogues. Go figure

Well.. Considering that Jade Druid actually triggers the class quest... I think it's safe to assume they're going to be pretty prevalent.
Rank 5. 6/11 games has been Quest Hunter, which is basically a better mid-range Hunter...
Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
