Sorry, but i can't see ANY card that actually counters Jade Druid at all. Yes, it loses Brann Bronzebeard and Jade Idol, but it will keep nearly all key cards. I can't see Jade Druid something else as a Tier 1 deck, especially when it heavily counters Quest Warrior.
Druid loses jade idol? What? You are wrong mate, jade idol stays. As for deck in general i think that they will be so many fload decks that will stay at the bottom of tier two.
@OP
Quest Paladin? Sorry, but at stream they play with crappy decks against other crappy decks to showcase the cards. 6 Buff cards on minons... not a chance that will work. What there seems insane will never work in the real life, simply because there are decks out there that can kill you on turn 6. This new 8 mana spell paladins get is simply too slow. You will never see a meta where everyone plays 20 turns and missplays like Frodan did there.
If buff-decks would actually work, Priest would have been Tier 1 in Naxxramas.
Buffadin was in the verge of viability in msog. The deck was good against control and greedy midrange decks but it was hard countered by pirates.Pretty much like midhunter. You don't need all the expensive buffs, just the cheap stuff, cheap minions, plus divine favor and you are ready to go.Think it as a zoo pala or egg pala,it won't depend on the quest but it will be its finisher in case it loses the board.Anyway we will see i guess :P
Easy 1. Goes to the fastest deck: Pirate Warrior 2. Goes to the midrange deck with endless value: Elemental Shaman 3. Goes to the control deck with the most consistant OHKO: Probably mage. Maybe quest/jade Druid
Decks no one plays: Priest (lol), Rogue (lol), Pally (lol), all the hunters will be playing Pirate warrior. Zoo will be zoo.
Midrange Beast Hunter is my guess. If the meta slows down, midrange hunter gets better, if it speeds up it gets worse. Chances are though we will either be seeing quest decks that can fulfill a win condition in a few turns or quest decks that just get eaten up by good midrange decks,
EDIT: I will be trying out whatever I manage to pull from packs. I'm f2: I take what I get. If all else fails I'm going back to my horrible winrate Wild Mill Rogue.
(NOOB ALERT! This is my first post and am generally new to Hearthstone so puhlease don't hammer me too badly...)
1. Control Warrior Quest, super easy for new players like myself wanting to compete and learn the game at the same time. Frozen_Inferno_1 suggested a C'Thun kicker into a deck recipe I saw earlier. Hmmm....
2. Hunter Quest. Just seems to good to me.
3. Mage Quest. I might be wrong, but taking an extra turn seems frightening to me. I guess the question is how soon can you get the quest to crack. Gods and Goddesses help us all if one of you Meta-Commandos break the darned thing.
ps. hopeful something good comes out of Druid Quest. My personal favorite class.
Rogue: Miracle / Maly will probably be the strongest (cancer) deck of rogue. T1.5-T2 Druid: Jade will remain strong. T1 Warlocks: Warlock is gonna suck hard. After an initial discard (quest) hype, it'll turn out to be too inconsistent to compete with just about everything. Zoo will remain playable, but nowhere near competitive as in the past. T2.5-T3 Shaman: Potential in various directions. Probably mid-range of some sort. T1.5-T2 Mage: Freeze/quest mage will thrive and will be very frustrating. T1-T2 Hunter: No clue what exactly, but it seems to have the most options available. Will probably have a tier 1 deck. T1 Warrior: Face warrior will see much play initially, but will fade away slightly. Since it doesn't lose anything, it'll remain effective, but less often. Also anti weapon tech ooze is pretty tough on them. Control warrior could see some play, but not as effective as other decks. T2 Paladin: People don't give control pala enough of a try. It's simply not worth it compared to the investment you have to make. Quest paladin is too easily countered and will probably not take off. The new 6 mana buff will probably still see play. T2.5 Priest: I can see control N'Zoth priest being actually decent. Might struggle in some match ups tho. T2
1: Quest combo mage
2: Quest buff paladin
3: Quest aggro hunter
extra: Quest ramp druid
Druid loses jade idol? What? You are wrong mate, jade idol stays. As for deck in general i think that they will be so many fload decks that will stay at the bottom of tier two.
1. Mid/Control Shaman (jade, maybe + elemental)
2. Agro Beast Druid
3. Mid Hunter
With all the beast support, hunter will destroy Jade Druid. Even the hunter of this meta has a really strong match up against it.
#1 Quest Taunt warrior - Really good against aggro, after changing hero power, really good against control
#2 Quest Hunter - Really good cards for hunter this set.
#3 Elemental Shaman - Someone, somehow, will make this deck work into the meta
Mage is going somewhere within the top three in wild.
Jades will stick around number 3
Hunter will be one potentially, they can finish their quest quite quickly
Easy
1. Goes to the fastest deck: Pirate Warrior
2. Goes to the midrange deck with endless value: Elemental Shaman
3. Goes to the control deck with the most consistant OHKO: Probably mage. Maybe quest/jade Druid
Decks no one plays: Priest (lol), Rogue (lol), Pally (lol), all the hunters will be playing Pirate warrior. Zoo will be zoo.
1. Face Hunter
2. Pirate Warrior
